Bungalow vacation rentals in Bocas del Toro Archipelago

Amazing stay with a beautiful private overwater terrace. The host was very kind and accommodating. The local staff was also there to help with getting water taxis or anything else we needed. Would also recommend getting food at the cafe that belongs to the place because the food was great. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

We had an amazing stay at Heathers place! Laurie was so nice to pick us up from the airport and waited for us after our flight got delayed. The view is so peaceful and gorgeous. We woke up to the sound of the ocean and watched monkeys right from the front porch. Location is perfect, can walk to many restaurants and beaches in under 20 minutes. Heather was so helpful the entire time and her 2 dogs were so nice to have around, we felt right at home!

This stay is truly incredible. We had sloths outside of the house, saw poison dart frogs, heard howler monkeys, saw bats. Truly a nature lovers paradise. The starlink connection was fantastic! My bf and I were able to work remotely without issue. The sea here does have jellyfish so you have to be careful, and it does get extremely hot/humid (there is no AC, only fans). If you are okay with very simple accomodations / living, then you will really enjoy this place. We drove about 45 minutes to Changuinola to get groceries (we stayed for 3 weeks) so we needed a bigger supermarket. A great place to enjoy nature and Mary was always super responsive!

This little gem is absolutely magical. We were picked up in Bocas by the hosts friend and brought to this incredible place with only a 12 min boat ride from bocas. Their pictures don’t even do this place justice. The beauty is even better in person. I recommend eating the breakfast they offer. Absolutely fresh and delicious. We will be back for sure!

Staying in Isa & Flo’s Casita Margarita was an unforgettable experience! The place is truly a hidden paradise, with stunning views, absolute tranquility, and fantastic hosts. We loved kayaking through the mangroves, relaxing in hammocks, and enjoying the amazing food—including freshly caught tuna. Isa & Flo made us feel so welcome, and their hospitality was exceptional. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape in nature, this is the perfect place. Highly recommended!

Ok wow this place was absolutely amazing! It was my dream to stay at an over the water bungalow and this exceeded all my expectations. Your own little paradise on a tropical island. Jump right off the front porch to swim in a great reef. Stunning views of the lagoon and mountains and sunsets. Michelle is a wonderful person and I am blessed to meet her. She helped me out with everything, gave great advice, and I met more amazing people at De La Luna and through her. This bungalow is ideal if you are staying long by being a digital nomad. You get a great peaceful place to sleep and work at. Then if you want to go to town and party you take the water taxi in right from the front porch. Bocas town is a blast so stay there for a bit then come right back to paradise. Also two restaurants and a store right in kayaking distance. A gorgeous place with very kind hosts who rescued me from a dangerous situation at a different AIRBNB by accepting my last-minute reservation. It was a very healing stay. Clarisse is a delight to be around and a great chef - I will never forget her chocolate volcano cake - fully worth breaking a diet for, haha. I will also never forget Davide saying, "You are the master of your trip, you can change your mind" when I made a small change to excursion plans. Both extremely responsive to requests, very kind about guests being delayed and such. Would visit again.
