Bungalow vacation rentals in Bocas del Toro Province

Nice little rustic cabins on the water. Read the description as it's in a local area and as such, it's a little rough around the edges. The neighbours were all very friendly and we always felt safe during our stay. The cabins themselves were very clean and well maintained. Most importantly, you get to meet Bella. She's the friendliest lil pup you'll ever meet. Would we return? YES.

We were really happy with El Clandestino. Our place, and maybe all of them, had a wonderful very private patio with chairs, a table, and a hammock. The room was a good size and very comfortable. Drinks were great. Food was excellent. There were several other guests there at the same time and we had a lot of fun meeting and chatting with them as well. Especially for the price, this place is amazing. After staying here I would have expected to pay more.

Super cute and simple . Your staying on a pier in a super beautiful bay . Easy access to get into town .market close easy to grab a taxi to get you around . Centered perfectly to get around to islands . Would stay again

Staff are amazing! Stacy was very responsive and extremely helpful. Bungalow was nice - comfy bed, good A/C, hot water, strong WiFi. We loved watching sunsets and spotting marine life - starfish, sea urchins, barracuda, eagle rays and lobsters! Great views and night skies. Restaurant on-site was delicious and convenient. Enjoyed meals delivered to patio. Included breakfast was a plus! Other walkable restaurants nearby if looking for variety. Take jungle walk to Wizard Beach. Water taxi to Red Frog - walk to Polo Beach for snorkeling. Old Bank is a colorful Caribbean village with warm, friendly and incredibly welcoming community. We made lots of friends with locals which made it hard to leave! If you’re looking for a culturally immersive and truly authentic experience this is it. Come with an open mind to experience the real Bocas and not judge it for what it’s not. recommend ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper - barking dogs, occasional rosters etc - don’t let this deter you.

Clarisse is a super host! Always ready to help with a smile. Beautiful surroundings, pure nature, very quiet and peaceful. Besides all this she is a wonderful cook, she prepared a delicious vegan meal for us with an excellent dessert! Also terrific breakfast served, all very delicious. Thank you

Absolutely gorgeous! This is literally the best place to stay in Bocas Del Toro....We loved the private lush green surroundings. It was so peaceful and beautiful, with an easy walk to quality restaurants (away from the downtown noise). The host that greeted us was very friendly & knowledgeable too. The outdoor kitchen/lounge area was lovely, and there are bikes you can rent there. (ATV rentals and the ocean are only a block away as well). The A/C and big wooden windows that open up to the greenery were additional bonuses. We loved it!

We had a great vacation here! Everything was so nice and it was in my opinion the best and nicest place to rent on the island! It was very comfortable and the AC worked great! Beautiful place and we will be back!! Thank you to Tahiri for being so nice and easy to communicate with, she always responded promptly to my questions and thank you to Cecilia! She was awesome and was there to help us with keys and questions if we needed! Old bank is a special island and amazing place!

Beautiful spot with a very helpful and responsive host

This is an amazing deal for what you get. The staff is very responsive and will deliver whatever you need (food/supplies) to your bungalow. They are also great at getting you connected with water taxis, activities, and locals. I was impressed from start to finish. Expect a real cultural experience from this town. Enjoy the unpredictable and unknown. Can’t say enough nice things.

We had a pleasant stay at the property. Everything was as expected and accurately described. The optimal communication and helpfulness of the employees should be emphasized. They always helped us with problems and contributed to a safe arrival and departure!
