We had the most wonderful stay at Ladydown Cottage! Mick and Janine were incredibly helpful and thoughtful hosts, staying in contact and providing all the information we needed before and during our visit. After a long 5-hour drive, we arrived at 4 am to find the cottage beautifully warm and welcoming, with lights and heating already on – such a considerate touch that made all the difference. The cottage itself is cozy and charming, and the hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The detailed guide they left for local places to eat and visit was spot-on – the food recommendations were some of the best meals we’ve ever had! We truly felt at home and will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway in Cornwall! Sophia & family X

I stayed at this beautiful flat for my birthday weekend and it was better than I could have imagined! A crazy amount of space (the pictures don’t do it justice). Everything was all clean and my partner would not stop going on about how comfy the bed was! We even got a free bag of mini eggs as it was Easter weekend! Really wanted to stay longer as 3 nights wasn’t enough! We will definitely be returning! Thanks Sharon for a welcoming, gorgeous stay at your home!

We had a lovely two night stay here, the flat was clean and had everything we needed. There were clear instructions on where to park and how to use the shower etc… Sean contacted us on the day to ask if we needed sofa bed covers and these were provided. He was very responsive throughout the booking process as well, as I had a few questions before booking. There are two pubs about 10 minute walk away and the staff and locals were very friendly. The jail is also within walking distance. The only downside for us was the bed and pillows were soft, which is personal preference as we prefer a firm bed. Next time, we would take our own pillows but overall a lovely place to stay and we would definitely return.
