Bungalow vacation rentals in Big Sur

Nice roomy place with amazing views, better than in the pictures. We saw seals and dolphins and otters from the patio (could spot them without binoculars but binoculars helped). The place was well appointed - good variety of dishes and kitchen items as well as chairs, tables etc for the patios. The town is pretty sleepy- most things close by 8:30 or so, but plenty of activity in nearby towns if that’s what you’re after. We’ll be back!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at this Airbnb! The property is stunning—pristine, beautifully maintained, and designed with thoughtful use of space and amenities. Every detail has been carefully considered, making for an incredibly comfortable and enjoyable stay. The rooms were clean, tastefully decorated, and felt warm and inviting. The host was fantastic—responsive, accommodating, and truly dedicated to ensuring a top-notch guest experience. They even provided thoughtful extras like sand toys for kids, beach chairs, and beach towels, making our time by the ocean even more enjoyable. This is my favorite beach in California, and I visit several times a year. Without a doubt, I will be booking with this company again! If you’re looking for a relaxing and seamless stay at this beautiful destination, I highly recommend it.

Very nice location. Capitola Village is wonderful - beautiful, walkable, excellent dining. Right in the middle of Santa Cruz County. Anything and everything you could wish to do in a California surf town is right there for you to explore and enjoy.

My family and dog stayed at Jeremy’s house for 5 days and loved every minute. The house is very spacious and airy, super well-maintained with lots of room to relax and enjoy. The front and back yards are big and perfect for a dog and kids. Everything you’d need is covered, from outdoor shower to a handy pooper scooper and toys for the dog. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, yet only 3 minutes walk to great burgers, pizza or Mexican food. And only 8 minute walk to The Hook or 38th Ave for surfing or beach. 5 minute drive or an easy bike ride to downtown Capitola. Jeremy was a fantastic host, always asking if we needed anything. Will definitely visit again!

We've stayed at Michelle's place several times and love going back as the place is small but very efficient, has everything you need, is super clean and well appointed, and is in a great location - a short walk into town yet quiet neighborhood. Michelle is an extremely helpful host and responds quickly to any requests. Super nice family and this is a little unit in the back of their private home with lots of privacy. I highly recommend this little gem!

Fantastic stay at one of our new favorites places. Home was exactly as described in a great location. Keli was extremely responsive and flexible. We loved our time and will be return guests.

Great house in a very good location.

Great location near SLO & Avila Beach! Quaint vineyard setting, with eclectic antique furniture. Host also left us snacks and their wine, which was a nice touch. Highly recommended.

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in our recent trip to SLO than Nancy's cute casita. Her place was centrally located right off the 101 - incredibly clean, comfortable, and safe. Great beds, great bathroom, easy street parking - I could go on and on. Nancy was a very communicative host and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome in her home, even providing some delicious local bakery treats and plenty of bottled water, juice, snacks, etc. The space had beautiful high ceilings and all of the creature comforts to make our stay enjoyable. SLO is an awesome little town, and we would stay at Nancy's place again in a heartbeat!

This was a great place for a team offsite. Really spacious and everyone had enough room to work and for us to come together.

Alexa and her place was amazing. Great location, beautiful property with an amazing garden. It’s a big neighborhood but we were surprised how quiet and peaceful it was at night. 15 minutes away from Monterey and Carmel and beaches. Very thoughtful as well. Had a high chair and lego blocks for our toddler. Very happy with our stay.
