Cabin vacation rentals in Big Cormorant Lake

We just completed our second stay at Jennifer’s lovely lakeside retreat. As we were packing up I was wishing we had booked for two weeks instead of one. The place is immaculate, well-stocked, tastefully decorated and so so peaceful. Jennifer communicated extremely well and it’s clear that she puts immense thought into the experience of her guests. Absolutely love this place!

Inviting, comfortable and spacious home with gently sloped lot on a beautifully clear lake. Perfect spot to relax and refresh, or partake in Minnesota lake life to it's fullest. We enjoyed the welcome basket of snacks and coffee bar offerings while lounging on the comfy patio furniture taking it all in: peaceful sunrises, glorious sunsets, star filled nights with bonfires and flutters & flyers. The lake offered a variety of fish species and a fun fishing experience, jumbo fresh water snail shell hunting, and of course watching and listening to the loons. Highly recommend, and we will be back again.

This was our 2nd stay at this cabin, and we loved it again! Soleil is super easy to work with and her place is exactly as described. Beautiful lake view with great fishing right from the dock! Stunning sunrises and a lovely deck to relax on when not fishing or out on the kayaks. Wonderful wildlife sightings rounded out a fantastic weekend! Thank you!

Solid comfortable cabin with great view of the lake. Improvements were evident and the owner was very responsive to our concerns and requests.

My family and I truly enjoyed our trip to Scott's property. The house fit our big crew quite well. The beds were very comfortable. The kids loved the fun spaces in the house. The location was beautiful and peaceful. While there is a lot of vegetation along the lakeshore, there is a decent beach, and some shallow water that the smallest kids were able to enjoy. For the bigger kids, we brought the lily pad out to the middle of the lake, and they had a blast with that. The outdoor living space was great! Scott was friendly, helpful, responsive.

We took a long weekend for family and Karin was so responsive up to our checking in, she was an absolute delight to work with! The home was clean, neat, tidy, and just what we needed for the entire weekend getaway There was nothing we needed with a party of 6-She has literally thought of everything you could need for a delightful stay!! Karin was extremely flexible and communicated right away! We can’t wait to come back!!! 5/5… would highly recommend!!

This was just what we needed for a girls getaway. We did a little bachlorette party for my daughter. We had a great stay, the hot tub was amazing, and very easy and communicative host. We will definitely stay at this cabin again! Thank you to the host and hosts family for being amazing and the property was absolutely beautiful and cozy!

If you are looking for a place that is beautiful and has lots of room to spread out, this one is for you. Our large family gathered here for a fun filled family vacation. We loved loved loved the hot tub! It ended up being a cooler weekend so it was perfect. We rented a jet ski from a place in Detroit Lakes to add to the fun. All of the outdoor levels were wonderful! Also, there was a very comfortable bed in the master bedroom! I highly recommend it!

This cabin was an outstanding group get away for my birthday! In our 4 day stay we never ran out of things to do as the amenities were great! The furnishings were clean and comfortable. Any questions we had our Host was quick to respond and extremely helpful. We are already planning our return!

Scott’s place was clean, well appointed, homey, and peaceful with amazing views of the lake. We had everything we needed during our stay, everything was clean and fresh; the beds were comfy, and the linens were clean. The kitchen had everything we needed for all the cooking we did, and the filtered drinking water on tap was a bonus. Checking in and out was easy, and the rules & directions were straightforward and easy to follow. Scott was a great communicator, and all around this was a fantastic stay. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing and quiet getaway.

Great experience and location for a getaway! Hosts were very accommodating with an earlier check in and later check out time. Very proactive with snow removal (it snowed overnight and driveway was plowed and area around our cars was shoveled before we even woke up.) Gorgeous cabin with great amenities. Massage chair was such a hit with our group, as was the hot tub and provided hammocks. Highly recommend!

I wholeheartedly recommend staying here at Eric and Anne's cabin on Blueberry Lake. Their cabin is pristine and idyllic for a perfect north woods experience. Close to park Rapids (a very fun little town) and the headwaters of the Mississippi River, you'll have plenty to do if, somehow, you tire of the tranquility along the water. Great amenities, thoroughly clean, and very accommodating of children, this place is on our list of return visits for sure.

The only thing would be is the sound transfer between floors

My Wife and I loved staying at Kristin's cute cabin. We has success fishing (nice panfish, one 14" bass) off the dock, and finished with a nice campfire. Cabin was cozy and easy to adjust temperatures if needed. The privacy was really nice allowing our 2 dogs to not be stressed out, and they could get all their sniffs out. Would recommend this cabin to anyone, and we would stay again!

This cabin exceeded all of our expectations!! It was truly amazing. We fished a lot of the dock and even warmed up a little to take the kayaks out. We went to the ice cream shop down the road and our 7 year old was in heaven. They have everything there you need!! It was perfect for our family of four and we will definitely be back!

This stay was everything we needed and more. The house was fully stocked with anything we could’ve possibly needed, and having the sound of waves and lake access right out the front door was incredibly relaxing. This cabin is so peaceful and incredibly private, it felt like we had the entire lake to ourselves. My son got hooked on fishing for the first time, and I’m still not sure who had more fun—us or the dogs! The hosts were responsive and kind, and even our troll-hunting adventures were just a short drive away. We’d absolutely stay again.

Beautiful and peaceful place to visit in the fall! We loved our stay, hearing and seeing the loons on the water and eating a lot of good food in the small town of Dent. Mike’s cabin had everything we needed. We also spent an afternoon seeing a couple of the Dambo Trolls in Frazee and at Detroit Mountain. This is a little bit of a drive, but worth it in my opinion 🙂
