We loved staying in the country quiet of Willow Cottage. Locating the farm lane for the first time was a bit tricky but fine after that with postcode gps. Looking over green fields, the view from the french doors downstairs and the large upstairs bedroom window is beautiful. The cottage looks exactly like the photos and was comfortable. Charlotte and Rob were very friendly, responsive and keen to ensure our stay was a good one. The cottage is very near Sissinghurst, and made a good base from which we saw many other gardens and historic homes.

Gorgeous gorgeous. Such a beautiful Property with so much character . It’s full of wonderful ornaments , books and furniture ! Kitchen is so well equipped and the upstairs is surprisingly spacious!! It was in the perfect location for our trip and there is a handy shop , pharmacy etc. loved our stay! Thank you

We had a wonderful (albeit brief) stay at Jane’s beautiful home! The space was spotless, stylish, and so comfortable—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The pool was a real highlight, and we’re already looking forward to coming back and making the most of it next time. Unfortunately, we had to leave earlier than planned due to personal reasons, but Jane was incredibly understanding and kind about our situation. She was a fantastic host throughout—thoughtful, responsive, and welcoming. A special thank you for the delicious-looking marmalade waiting for us on arrival! We can’t wait to enjoy it at breakfast. Highly recommend Jane’s place for anyone looking for a peaceful and lovely escape. We hope to return soon!

What an exceptional and beautiful residence. Set in a nice peaceful area. The home is stunning and so tastefully done Even provided us with fresh eggs granola bread and milk! Bed was super comfy. Really enjoyed our couple of days away, shame the weather wasn’t better but the house is a great place to hang out and relax. Even on a rainy day it was light and airy. The garden and surrounding countryside is beautiful with wonderful views. Beds and bedding all very comfortable and easy parking. I’m looking forward to returning!

The house was great. Allister was an excellent host and very responsive to any queries. The attention to detail in the house is wonderful, really well done, quirky with thoughtful detail. Coffee machines are provided in every room with tea and coffee pods provided. There were 10 of us staying and the house suited us very well. We knew to expect that the dining area was small and could only accommodate 8 comfortably but we made it work. The heated gazebo outside seated all of us comfortably. It’s a shame the pub next door is currently closed as we were expecting to make use of that. We walked into both Canterbury and Whitstable, both were lovely walks and would recommend. Lastly, the purpose built spa on site was lovely. A great space for chilling out and beautifully done. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

A lovely, well equipped home in a little English village. Park, pub, butcher and corner store all a short walk away. There were 8 of us - 4 adults and 4 children (ages 2, 5, 7 & 10). Lots of space including a very well equipped kitchen and a table that sat all 8 of us. We would definitely stay there again.

Our daughter was very recently diagnosed with a rare form of epilepsy. Due to her medication, we were unable to fly, which meant that we had to cancel our planned family trip abroad for her 1st birthday. We found Alex and Lucie’s listing and it seemed almost too good to be true! Somewhere that we could keep our youngest shielded, whilst also giving us a place to give our eldest a real feel of a holiday. The cottage is beautiful and immaculately kept. Everything about it is perfect. Alex and Lucie added additional personal touches, like a hooded towel for the little one and additional pool checks to ensure that she was kept safe, which we appreciated immensely. I’m not sure if it was me or our eldest that had most fun in the pool and the pool toys got plenty of use! We said within a few hours of arriving that we would love to return and we look forward to doing so in the future. Thank you so much for helping us to give our little ones (and us) exactly what was needed!

The apartment is very nice, tastefully decorated. We felt right at home! Nothing is missing in terms of equipment, point+++. Great bedding! The location is ideal, making it easy to visit Hastings and the surrounding area on foot or by transport and combining the quiet and proximity to the city center. Madelaine was always responsive and the hosting was very nice and facilitated by the explanations and advice given on site. The little touches on arrival are a real plus! It's good to know that the noises and footsteps from upstairs can be heard, but Madelaine & her husband have always been very respectful and these noises are therefore not annoying. Thanks ☺️

Lovely apartment with everything you need. Extremely clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying there if looking for a place to stay in Deal as the views were superb and central to everything. Roger the host was very helpful with regards to parking. Can’t fault anything.

I stayed at The Shed for ten nights. Tina and Jerome were the perfect hosts. From the very beginning I felt at home. A very quiet site three miles from Dymchurch, one is assured a peaceful stay at The Shed with just the odd car or tractor passing by. Tina and Jerome live in the adjoining house, previously known as the Royal Oak. Jerome invited me into their house for an afternoon cup of tea and later, I was invited to join them in their garden for a chat and a glass of wine whilst we watched the sun go down. Moments to treasure. The King size double bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything one needs. I really didn’t want to leave. David.

The cabin is comfortable; harmoniously decorated; and calming. The view outside is spectacular. The location is peaceful. Thank you.

We had an amazing time staying here. The hosts were amazing, friendly, welcoming and very helpful. They sent us clear instructions for our stay and local shops and restaurants immediately following booking. Everything in the accommodation matched the description and photos, and was a lovely place to stay. The price was extremely good considering everything provided. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to rebook in future

Thank you Mathew for allowing us to stay with our dogs. Even though our stay was an emotional one, we felt right at home and that made things a whole lot easier. Being Autistic with other disabilities/difficulties, it can be very hard travelling and staying away at different locations. From the moment we arrived we felt like we belonged which really helped me to cope, thank you We loved the basement apartment, it was perfect from everything it offered, to the unique quaintness of its character, to how quiet it was, to feeling so warm and inviting. We look forward to returning again

The apartment has so much character and the most incredible sunsets and sunrises from the balcony, one of the best airbnb experiences we have had.

We enjoyed an incredible stay at Seashells, where comfort and warmth surrounded us. It truly felt like home. The property provided everything we could want, and the location inspired joy in every moment.

Paul responded very quickly to messages. He was so helpful for advice, tips, information and was so kind to accommodate with some essential food items for Vegans. Paul's home was lovely, clean and tidy. The garden was so beautiful and the home so close to the sea. Paul was so kind to meet during check in to help show us around the house and also to give some advice on the local area. I could not have asked for a more perfect stay for my birthday, thanks so much Paul 😊

We came for only a night but could have easily stayed longer. Beautiful location and immaculate home. We loved the view over the garden while having our morning coffee. Local pub- Blackboys Inn, is very good. A short drive, which we did due to weather, or a 30 min walk. Highly recommend this property.

We had a very comfortable stay at Fancoombe. It was very clean & well equipped with everything we needed & an ideal base to explore the local area. Very peaceful with stunning views from the veranda

We wrapped up an incredible three-week road trip through the UK with a two-night stay at Tom’s charming coach house flat—and it was the perfect finale. This beautifully appointed second-floor, two-bedroom retreat was ideally situated, just a short and scenic walk (less than 0.8 miles) from the heart of the Old City and the Canterbury Cathedral. With restaurants and groceries conveniently located within three blocks, and every imaginable amenity thoughtfully provided within the flat—including on-property parking and breakfast essentials awaiting us—it exceeded all expectations. The comfort, location, and attention to detail made for an unforgettable stay in Canterbury. Now I truly understand why this Airbnb is so “highly rated”! Tom’s hospitality was exceptional—helpful, informative, and always clear in his communication. A truly lovely experience from start to finish.

This is an absolute gem of a place and location, with views right across the Darent Valley. I only wish we could have stayed longer! The place was spotless and everything had been perfectly prepared and very well thought through (from the local hand-drawn maps right down to the vast array of toiletries on offer). I can't think of a single thing to change or improve about the place. Diana was a lovely host and provided a lot of information prior to arrival. She had also found some suggestions of activities for us tailored to our interests, which was frankly above and beyond. We were very grateful and it was clear a lot of thought had been put in prior to our arrival. I could carry on for pages but in summary, we have already recommend the place to family and friends and we be pleased to offer our recommendation here too. Thank you, Diana, for such a lovely place to stay and we hope to be back soon!

Fabulous appartement with superb sea view. Excellent host, always responsive. The only downside was that we found the local neighbourhood less attractive than expected, but it can be a good outpost to explore for example Rye, Battle and Brighton. (There's a lovely sandy beach near Rye in a town/village called Camber, but beware of seagulls if you picnic, which you must because the quality of the local shops on the beach is terrible.)
