I was thrilled to find this place for our spur of the moment spring break trip to LA from Seattle! My husband and two teens found it very comfortable. We walked to dinner each night and enjoyed the sunset on the beach! My 13 year old even felt safe enough to head to the beach in the morning by herself for tanning! The beach towels provided were a big plus! There was even a wagon and beach chairs in the garage if needed! Oh! And awesome to have a dedicated parking spot right on site. The home was clean and comfortable with super soft linens and I always appreciate when shampoo/conditioner/bodywash is provided! Hosts were very responsive and friendly! It was a lovely stay. Thank you!

The house is in a great location with all the amenities you would want, as well as multiple bikes, boogie boards, beach toys and towels. Perfect for a family stay. It is an easy walk to the beach, good restaurants, or biking on the strand. Montie was very helpful and responsive, making sure we knew how to get in and operate everything. Great home for a family beach getaway.

A great place to gather the family both near and far for Christmas. Very easy to get to some great beaches, restaurants, the Malibu Pier and Adamson house, canyon hike.

Aaron and Chers Manhattan Beach house is absolutely gorgeous. We loved our stay here and would recommend to anyone. The beds were insanely comfortable, the house was spotless, having a garage is perfect! Loved the view from the upstairs room and the terrace. The house was equipped with everything we needed included beach toys for the kids and a coffee machine for us. Aaron and Cher were such lovely and accommodating hosts. One of our favourite stays to date! Thank you 🙏🏼

This space was exactly what I needed for my solo meditation weekend - a short walk to the beach and strand and yet so quiet and peaceful and clean. I's also romantic and would be a wonderful place for a couple's getaway.

Such a peaceful community in such a vibrant place. Close to Venice Beach and the Santa Monica pier. The home and linens were squeaky clean. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. The people watching, plane watching, and boat watching provides non stop entertainment. We even saw a sea lion and dolphins. This place is magical and we can’t wait to come back!

Scott's place was perfect for a family! It's a quick drive to Redondo Beach and is ideally located to enjoy the LA area. We were 30-40 minutes to Disney and 30 minutes to the Long Beach Aquarium. By far, the best attributes of the house were the outside grill and hot tub area. The backyard is fantastic for a family that wants to spend time outside. We grilled on the Weber grill and enjoyed the hot tub, which is humongous!

Mary was a very kind and responsive host. While I wasn't ultimately able to stay with Mary, I look forward to staying with her in the future since her place seems very nice.

Shirley's house is in an great location, you can walk to the market and to an incredible bakery and ice cream shop. It was perfect for our family. And we loved her cat Rocky! He's the sweetest.

This host, house and location was prefect for my little get away. Host was available for anything I needed. When host came by to help noticed head to the beach came back with beach towel and small birthday gift for me .. the small touch’s that she put in give us a great experience. I have already saved and shared this listing for future stays .. also wanted to add that we got so many amazing photos with all the decor and extra touches they provided

Had a great stay at Mikes. Very cozy and beautiful home. Location is perfect, easy access to major roads, beaches, and plenty of great food/drink options within walking distance. Beds are also comfy and it’s very easy to feel calm and comfortable at the house, even within a busy city. I highly recommend for future stays.

Orange Door Stays did a great job turning this old Bungalow walk street house into a modern feel well stocked home right by the Strand / Ocean in Hermosa! It is two bedrooms with a bonus sleeping area which worked well for my son. There is a little ocean view from the living room window. Restaurants and the pier are walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

Hidden Gem, Another great way to enjoy California, Surrounded by trees, birds, flowers! Definitely coming back for peaceful getaway retreat!

A great local home at a reasonable price! My family and I had a wonderful stay and were so grateful to the hosts for allowing us to checkin early despite booking with them last minute when our travel plans changed. The home is spotless and the beds were so roomy and comfy! They even included a freshly laundered personal-sized throw blanket for each guest — we cozied up on the comfy couch for a proper binge-watch session one night when we were too exhausted to do anything else.

We had a great stay! Many walkable food options and the beach is just a few minutes away by car! Couldn’t ask for a better location for the weekend.
