Places to stay in Berwick-upon-Tweed

A wonderful house in a perfect location! The house has all the amenities you need and plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. It’s a short stroll to the beach and the town and easy to park outside. We look forward to returning again in the future!

This was our third stay at The Wee Hoose, and it was as wonderful as ever. Centrally located and just the right size for our family of four. Clean, quiet, and equipped with everything we could need for our self-catering holiday. The perfect home away from home. We also really appreciated the insider-tips for our kids, about the Easter trail and the new playground. It’s this thoughtfulness that sets The Wee Hoose apart. Would not hesitate to visit again.

The cottage is lovely with beautiful surroundings. The living room in particular is stunning. We are a family of 5 and had plenty of space. Our eldest (11) loved the loft bedroom. Instructions from Liz were excellent and using what3words we found the cottage with no issues. The area is gorgeous and we saw lots of wildlife on the way which was great. The cottage is about an hour away from the centre of Edinburgh, so it’s ideal if you’re wanting to visit Edinburgh but stay away from the noise of a city. Thank you so much for having us, we had a great time 😀

We had a wondeful weekend in Edinburgh and the apartment did not disappoint. The location is ideal, close enough to the main sites, but still private and quiet. Paul left some essentials in the apartment, which was much appreciated. The apartment felt bigger than on the pictures and had great touches, from original features to modernised fixtures.

My family and I had an amazing stay at Ralph’s cabin near Penrith! Ralph was a fantastic host with excellent communication, even offering to adjust the heating for us remotely, which was so thoughtful. The cabin was cozy with nice, comfy beds, and the kids were thrilled with the selection of games available. We even spotted wild rabbits outside the bedroom window, which was a special treat! The location is ideal, close to Keswick, making it easy to explore the area. Highly recommend for a relaxing family getaway.

We had a great stay in Belford, clean and tidy accommodation. Had everything we wanted. Location was spot on for places we wanted to visit. Thank you.

What can I say... Absolutely fantastic place. You couldn't ask for anything more. Really peaceful location with fantastic views of the hills etc. We had a strange issue but this was sorted out very swiftly by Malcolm 👍 We will definitely be looking to book again and have another peaceful time just watching the world go by. Hi NIna A lovely cottage, perfectly located with parking. There was no need to contact Nina when we were at the cottage, but I contacted the mobile number when I got home…… no reply. There were 2 issues that I wanted to help her with. The upstairs television wasn’t working and was making a buzzing noise - electric. We turned the electricity off to the television and it stopped. We couldn’t get the coffee machine working, instructions would have been helpful. Other than the above 2 issues, we had a wonderful 3 night stay. Lots to do in the area.

No better location! Walking up to the apartment you’re greeted with a gorgeous view of the castle, so many restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance - it was the perfect home base. The size of the space and amenities were ideal to enjoy the weekend with my friend. Gavin was also super responsive friendly and to all messages.
