Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Bellingen

This was our second stay here. It's a lovely house, with lots of space. It's also really well located for the shops and restaurants in Bellingen.

This was our fourth stay at Misty River Lodge and won’t be our last. My family, including our little Jack Russell Terrier, loves Helen and Craig’s place. I especially love seeing how the gardens have evolved. We enjoy visiting the beaches up and down the coast — Scotts Head is a favourite — and we love to find new places to eat. Coffs Harbour is only a 45 minute drive north and South West Rocks is just 30 minutes south, so it’s a really central location and close to the highway but so quiet and peaceful. The bird song is relaxing and if you’re an early riser, you might even see the local swamp wallaby down near the creek. We were treated to fresh quail eggs, deliciously sweet tomatoes and tasty vegetables from the garden. As Helen said when we arrived… “Welcome home!” … because it does feel like a home away from home.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here at Mill Cottage. The location was great with beautiful views and close to everything. I highly recommend and we would definitley stay again in the future.

The house was so comfortable. Clean, every possible need catered for and the fire was set and ready to light. Would totally recommend this stay for others.

Check in: out was simple, and we had a great instruction manual which gave us great ideas of things to do in surrounding areas. We arrived after sunset and found the place easily, not far off the highway but far enough to be quite. Access was via a code and a key lock. We found it very clean and had all the facilities that we needed. We all had a great nights sleep. The shower was great. We loved the place. We highly recommend it.

Loved our stay at Casa las Valla. It was such a beautiful peaceful home. The beds were comfy the house had a real homey feel and it was big enough for the whole extended family. The hosts went above and beyond and absolutely made us feel comfortable and welcome. Country living only a short drive to the beach it was perfect. We will be back 😊

We had such a lovely stay at Anne’s place in Valla Beach! The house was clean, cosy and welcoming and the fireplace was a real highlight. Anne was an incredible host who went above and beyond, especially by taking the time to show our family (and especially my little niece!) around the property. We got to feed the horses, ducks, and chickens, and say hello to her sweet dogs. It made our stay so memorable!! thank you, Anne

Christine's place was an amazing apartment, super clean and in immaculate condition. the location is spectacular. we can't wait to visit again.

Had a great stay at Emma’s! We made a last minute booking, and was able to check in almost immediately. We appreciate the love that’s been put into the apartment and we felt very comfortable. Small things make a difference- like the toys we found for our little girl to play with. We will no doubt be back on our next visit to Sawtell. Thankyou :)

This is a fantastic studio with an incredible blend of retro and industrial touches. It also boasts a full sized kitchen except for the mini fridge. It also has a great selection of DVDs to pick from that we couldnt help but to contribute to, to help fill out the collection even more. The studio is 5 minute walk from the main street so its a quiet location while remaining close to the centre of town. Quite possibly the perfect location for staying in Bellingen. Highly recommend

We keep coming back here when we stay in Sawtell and it doesn’t disappoint. Great place to stay, lovely location and helpful host. Will be back!

Had the loveliest stay at Irene’s The unit was spotless and so homey. Irene left lots of extras so all we had to bring in was our clothes. The bed was so comfortable. We went for a ride locally on our mountain bikes to Jacks Ridge then later to dinner at Matilda’s Love Nambucca Will definitely return. ❤️

We loved our stay. we did a walk down to the beach, along the boardwalk at Urunga and at the rainforest in Dorrigo! the place was clean and spacious.

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lovely house in Coffs Harbour. The location was perfect—peaceful yet close to everything, with fantastic restaurants just a short walk away, especially one of them has become our favourite should we come back again for another visit! The house itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Our host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire booking and stay. It made the whole experience feel very welcoming and stress-free. We especially enjoyed the scenic coastal and beach walks around the area—Coffs Harbour is truly a gem for nature lovers and people enjoying bush walk activities. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and would definitely love to stay here again in the future! Thanks Jodi.

My daughter and I stayed here on our back from Qld to Sydney. Kaye and David were great easy to communicate with. Great supply of coffee (we are nurses) and breakfast supied was just right. Bathroomis awesome comfortable bed and beaut linen. Easy walk to the beach with kangaroos, scrub birds and nature on the way. Lovely spot

Great little place. Nothing fancy but had everything you need. Bonus points for a well-stocked kitchen in terms of utensils and crockery! Even a sharp knife, which is a rarity! Very walkable to town and the beach, even with kids. Literally 3 minutes. The pool is not heated for those wondering, so it was sub 15 degrees in June. No air con or heating so the night was a bit chilly in the cold snap but there were enough blankets to keep warm! Loved the balcony! We had a great time and the complex was quiet and calm. Perfect for a family with young kids, especially in summer it would be fantastic!

Great location, views were amazing. Very welcoming & easy communication. Beds were super comfy too with everything needed to enjoy our stay.

A wonderful apartment with spectacular views. Local shops, restaurants and beach within walking distance.

Ken’s unit is spacious, full of natural light and very comfortable to relax in. The outlook that sweeps around the living area is just stunning. What you get to enjoy on a one hour loop from the house is Equally amazing. We loved it.

I booked this apartment last minute and it was great!!! It’s a lot more spacious than it appears in the photos and really cozy. AMAZING views from the apartment being on the 5th floor. I think it probably has some of the best round views you can get in holiday accommodation there. I could sit on the balcony and enjoy the view for half the day. Some of the decor was like a time time warp to the 80s which I also loved! Very clean tidy cosy but spacious. Easy walk to cafe or beach or dine out.
