I came to Lac du Bonnet to attend an immersive 16-day Wilderness Survival Training experience with ICSOS (International Canadian School of Survival) and Linda's place was the perfect accommodations for me! The Sunrise Cabin is super easy to find, private, and close to town. It's very peaceful and quiet in the area too. I slept so well. The cabin itself has plenty of space for two people to enjoy their stay. The bed is very cozy too! I was so comfortable staying here and it was great to have a kitchen to prepare my dinners.

The Carriage House is a beautiful location for a getaway. It is situated right in Selkirk, but has a rural feel since it is situated at the end of a street, overlooking the golf course and the Red River. We felt right at home in the Carriage House. It is cozy and has everything needed for a relaxing stay!

The hosts were very responsive to our inquiries before we booked, which made our decision to stay there very easy. Our weekend was meant to be a quiet, private getaway, and we got exactly that! From our arrival to the last day of our stay we had everything that we needed. This attention to detail on their part meant that we did not need to contact them for anything and is the key to why they deliver on their promise of a private, stress free getaway. They make sure the cabin is completely clean, the rental and amenities are exactly as described on the site, they add nice touches that let you know they have prepared for and expected your arrival, they give you the access code to let yourselves in, and they make sure that anything you may need is stocked and available beyond what you may need for your stay. In our case, we stayed 3 days and had more than enough towels, linens for that time. We truly enjoyed our stay and will be back again, without a doubt.
