Only 3 miles to the entrance of Parris Island (MCRD) and 22 miles to Hunting Island State Park.

The Cottage at Burroughs

The Cottage at Burroughs has recently been completely renovated. A short walk or bike ride to downtown Beaufort restaurants and shopping, it is also just steps away from the Spanish Moss Trail and a short drive to Parris Island. The Cottage has space to park your boat trailer and is one mile from the Downtown Marina and boat landing. A scenic drive through our barrier islands will take you to the beautiful beaches and trails at Hunting Island State Park - complimentary guest pass provided.

Great location !! Within walking distance of great restaurants and all Downtown Beaufort has to offer Each floor in our two-story home has its own living room with a large screen TV, a functional kitchenette, a comfortable bedroom with full bathroom, and a lovely porch. The upstairs living room has a queen size pull out sofa bed that easily converts the space to a 3 bedroom house. We have off-street parking on our property for up to 3 cars and fast internet and Wi-Fi.

Downtown, 9 mi to Parris Island, Hunting Is. Pass

Make yourself at home in our updated 1940s bungalow, the Flirty Flamingo. Less than a mile from Downtown Beaufort and just a block from the bay, you'll have easy access to the attractions of the area. Bring your bikes or rent some to enjoy the 10-mile Spanish Moss Trail, located just 0.4 miles away. Unwind in the Adirondack chairs under the massive live oak in the backyard. The cottage was completely renovated in June 2022 and it is in heart of the National Historic District of Beaufort and only a 10 minute walk to downtown shops and restaurants and only a 2 minute walk to Bay Street and the Beaufort River. The cottage is also only a 10 minute drive to Paris Island and 20 minute drive to the beach and we provide a pass to the Hinton Island State Park / Beach.
