Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Baztan

Stunning place and would definitely come back. The house is self cooling however does not have a traditional air conditioner that allows you to adjust temperature. This wasn’t an issue however it is something to be mindful of if you are very sensitive to heat. Overall the place is an oasis unlike any I’ve stayed in before and the wineries and towns surrounding it are amazing.

A space as AirBnB is intended: a friendly and helpful host, who treats you as a good acquaintance. Gives you the space to do your own thing, but is also ready with tips and directions. Spaces that reflect the personality of the host, modern amenities in a traditional Basque house. We had our own apartment with spacious kitchen, bedroom and shower/toilet, everything clean. There was a second bedroom, for a family with children. We received adequate answers to all our questions. The place invites you to relax, hike or cycle. Many possibilities have been developed in the neighborhood, such as signage and information panels. The quiet access road from the village has unfortunately been modernized, tight asphalt and crossing places, which reduced the romance. Roads in the Basque Country are otherwise pretty good. About 10 minutes drive away is an Iberdrola 50kW fast charger with reasonable prices.

Very nice house, nicely decorated, very clean and super well-equipped! We lacked nothing! The beds are very comfortable, the garden is very peaceful. Léa and her mom are super nice!! We'll be back for a longer stay to enjoy it more…

Great hosting and services offered lived up to our expectations and the description. Beñat and his boys are extremely welcoming and friendly. A place surrounded by nature that allows you to explore the whole region. Beñat's visiting tips are great because we discovered authentic and charming places. We highly recommend it.

It has been a luxury to be in Borda Martinea these days. The place, the house and everything was spectacular. 100% recommended to go with family or friends.

Such a perfect location. Close to San Sebastián but beautifully situated in the mountains nearby. We loved our stay and can’t say enough about Kontxi and her family. So kind, so sweet. We’ve stayed at many, many Airbnb’s but Kontxi’s home will always hold a special place in our hearts. Maybe this says a lot about the Basque region of Spain and those who live in this amazing place. We spent a week here with our daughter, her husband, and our granddaughter and were very sad when we had to leave. Thank you Kontxi!

We had a great weekend. The house is great, we went with children and they enjoyed the games and the nearby fronton. Lots of nice routes to do really close by. Everything has been great.

It is a very quiet place, easy to get to and a stone's throw from Lekunberri. Where there's everything. If you like hiking and nature, Rafa, the host, can help you as he knows the area quite well.

Alvaro was a wonderful host and we are happy that we chose his place to stay in Hondarribia! The apartment was lovely and we had a most comfortable stay. Alvaro was always in contact with us and made us feel at home. Upon our arrival, he helped us park our vehicle and then kindly showed us around Hondarribia. We would like to come back again the next time we visit Hondarribia. Highly recommended!

Su and her place in San Sebastián are great — the reviews speak for themselves. She’s very communicative, super helpful in getting you situated in the area, and can help you make really hard-to-find reservations (Elkano, for example). She helps with daily recommendations and her place is clean, exactly as described, and located right in the middle of La Parte Vieja of San Sebastián, 50 steps from the best pintxos in the world. 5 stars!!

Sua has furnished the apartment very tastefully and practically. We slept very well and the wonderful shower refreshed us. The location is great, 😊 just around the corner and the splendors of Hondarribia await you. Excursions to San Sebastian and Bilbao, as well as extensive walks at the harbor, ensure varied days. Beautifully 🤩 picturesque, culinary delights, great apartment. We had a wonderful stay and gladly recommend Sua's hospitality. 🤩

Our stay went very well. The place was very comfortable, the bedding was good quality and we didn't miss anything. Everything was impeccable in terms of cleaning. Many services were available to us, many things provided such as towels, bathrobes, shower gel, or for breakfast such as milk, juice, jam, honey in addition to coffee or tea! We enjoyed the balcony for eating out. It was also very convenient to park the car at the foot of the accommodation. We enjoyed our independent stay. Sylvie and her husband are very welcoming and attentive while being discreet. The proximity to the highway did not bother us in terms of noise. We would recommend this listing!

It is a very comfortable apartment for families, in the pedestrian area of Rentería, with all the shops and restaurants at hand, and close to a subway station.

We had a wonderful stay as 2 families with young children in this beautiful house :). The hosting was very pleasant, the hosts kindly offered to adapt our check-in and check-out times in the house and gave us many recommendations for the stay. The house is extremely well-equipped, tastefully decorated, warm, spacious, very comfortable, the heated pool is perfect for children (and adults!), the large garden on the edge of the pine forest was very much appreciated. Everything was perfect, we'll all be back with pleasure!! Thank you for the lovely memories we will have of our stay in the Landes.

We spent a wonderful week at Olivia's place in August. The place is amazing, with that great "old French country house" feel but with plenty of modern amenities. We took full advantage of the large kitchen and the pool in the backyard. We also used the dishwasher and washing machine multiple times. The house is located in the small village of Ahetze, which was exactly what we wanted. Very quiet, but also very easy to drive to the beaches on the coast, out into the Basque countryside, or over the border to San Sebastian and Bilbao. There's a large parking area in front of the house as well. Olivia was a fantastic host - incredibly communicative, friendly and helpful. Overall, it was one of our favorite AirBnb houses that we've ever stayed in. We'd love to come back!

A gem by the ocean… Beautiful cozy house with your feet in the sand, with a delicious fish restaurant right next door. We had all our privacy. There is a bus that serves the house from Bayonne train station, which is very convenient and the TER train station is a 20-minute walk. Nicolas was great with us. I'd recommend it without a second thought.

Very nice place. A superb place in a quiet area. It is well equipped with quality dishes and a fireplace a real joy. The negative point is the narrow road and what would be a plus an internet box. We wish its owners a good continuation.

We had a great time at Camille's house. It is large and very pleasant to stay in, ideally located in a quiet area while being right next to the center of the pretty village of Sare. Perfect for discovering the region while having a quiet and pleasant place!

Corinne received us in a warm and very welcoming way. She adapted to us for the arrival time because we had a baby and the same for the departure. The house is beautiful. The presence of animals is THE most... the children spent hours outside watching and petting them. The location of the house is perfect…quiet but in close proximity to Spain, the big cities of the Basque Country and the beaches. The city has the necessary shops. We recommend it ++++++
