Tiny house vacation rentals in Bay of Plenty

Well located within a few mins drive from the marina - that’s where you have all the Lake Taupo boat cruises launching from . Well appointed unit and adequate space for a couple on a short visit . We also appreciate the basic breakfast supplies that Mel included with the stay . All in all , we have a very comfortable 1 night stay and are glad we booked this place .

Caron was very easy to deal with and so friendly and accommodating. I was left free range eggs and an ample supply of feijoas from her lushious feijoa tree. It was so peaceful therenand what a gorgeous area Waihi is. My baby girl and I walked around and we had guinea pigs, bunnies, birds, chickens, ducks and ducklings all around to admire and observe. Loved it and will definitely stay again. Thanks Caron.

This rental is a separate house behind the owner’s residence. It is bright and spacious, clean and well equipped. Its location in the south part of Rotorua suited us well based on having a car and the activities we did while there.

We enjoyed 3 nights at Behind the hedge. Although other properties are near by,it’s very private with carefully placed screening. Loved the artistic touches, the beautiful bathroom, comfortable bed, outdoor seating and of course proximity to the beach! Also love the materials used for the build and the coffee table! Can’t fault it really. It was perfect for us. Thanks Jeff

The cottage is in a great location. It was smaller than expected and unfortunately we were unable to sit outside but otherwise the cottage was a great place for a relaxing vacation. Would recommend and stay there again. Thanks Sharon.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay with Dierdrei and Richard. Apartment was as listed with everything you could need. Walking distance to some good restaurants and to the lake and the lake walk. Access to the garden and courtyard ...weather was variable when we were there so we didn't try out the outside bath tub!. Nice garden and cute chickens ...would recommend x 😊

Perfect stay as a solo female traveller, felt safe and cozy with an indoor fireplace and enjoyed the tub with bubble bath provided which I appreciated. Overlooking a beautiful valley with birds chirping and an amazing garden. Really enjoyed taking a walk down the private lane and having pink lights come on at night! Unfortunately stayed during cyclone Tam however even without sunny weather the tiny home was stunning and such a special experience.

Michele's place was exactly as advertised and we really enjoyed our stay. I have no hesitation recommending the Master's Chambers for any couple visiting Katikati.

spotless with all listed amenities, host very friendly and fast response. had nice off Street secured parking, private entrance, beautiful plants on the porch, bed was great, linens crisp, just great all around. about 20m walk to downtown area, nice quiet neighborhood. all good things!

This was the best Airbnb we had in 5 weeks in NZ. Loved the view! The outside bath was amazing! The tiny house was really new and clean. Even a washing machine.

Absolutely perfect for us. Get escape away from people and just super relaxing watching the ocean views. The Bach is the typical kiwi bach very easy to feel at home. We will definitely stay again if we can.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in Katrin's place. The house is located in stunning surroundings. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to explore it properly so want to come back again. Dogs are so friendly and well behaved, our son was delighted to play with Kuri. House is well equipped and we also used a kitchen in the main house. Katrin is so pleasant person very helpful and friendly. thanks!

Our stay at Jessica and Barry's place was a highlight of our North Island trip, despite the stormy weather! The Summer House is beautiful - so much lovely art and such a nicely furnished and decorated space in a serene, private setting. We had plenty of room to relax and listen to the rain outside, and enjoyed our time in the spa immensely. Our hosts were super kind and attentive to our needs. Really a perfect airbnb experience.

easy place to stay, good communication with the host. it is as described, a tiny place but good to put your feet up for the night. would recommend

Had an amazing time at the fat fish over the Easter weeekend. We sadly didn’t get the full Waihi Beach experience as it bucketed down with rain most of our stay until the very last day (of course 😅) but still enjoyed the beautiful pristine accomodation. Jeanette was a star the whole time, very attentive, friendly and accomodating to all our needs. Recommend to anyone contemplating booking this listing, I know my husband and I will definitely be coming back again, hopefully in beach exploring weather. Oh my gosh the outside bath was definitely a highlight for me, even with the rain hitting my face constantly it created a tropical feel. The whole place was stunning, cute, and intimate. There’s a market every Sunday I believe, that we were lucky enough to catch, and it’s not too far from location. It isn’t a very large market but they have a lot of cute trinkets and good food, who doesn’t love a market? If you’re looking for a place in Waihi Beach to stay then this is your spot. A 10!

Ryan's place is exactly as described. The contactless (and hassle free) check in made the surf shack feel like it was my personal space. I could really see myself living in a place like this! Close to direct beach access and with several coffee and brunch spots near by, this accom was the perfect place to unwind!

This is really beachfront with a short walk down the stairs. This place made me feel right at home with a real beach bach feel. I wish we could have stayed longer. Was also great to be able to bring our dog who is a member of our family along.

Fantastic place to stay. This is our second time here and enjoyed it just as much as the first time and plan again to stay here. Amy is friendly and easy to contact. 5 min walk to the beach an great restaurants around. Pap House is a must as well as the Great Spice Indian.
