Kerris and Chris are wonderful hosts, very hospitable and friendly and made us feel very welcomed in their home, it really felt like a home away from home. The continental breakfast each morning was delicious. The place is easily accessible and located in convenient location close to town and the other activity's we needed to access during our stay. Her facility's are as described, clean, very well maintained and offers plenty to do if staying around the property, easily accommodated our extra luggage (mountain bikes) during our stay . Will defiantly be returning on our annual trip back to Rotorua, whether staying in the main house or one of the other accommodation options they have available.

We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, and we truly felt like we were at home. The breakfast was delicious, and the beautiful, private surroundings made for a perfect getaway. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing experience.

Perfect stay in impeccable accomodation, Tony was very welcoming and his house is perfect and functional with good facilities. Tony offered us an amazing breakfast and prepared scrambled eggs for us, thank you again for this welcome. I recommend Tony's accomodation.

We felt very comfortable and relaxed at Karen and Dave’s place, which is set in a peaceful rural location, but still close to nearby Whakatane and local attractions. Karen and Dave are very friendly, helpful hosts , and we enjoyed some good conversations with them. A lovely comfortable bed complete with electric blanket and breakfast set out everyday were added bonuses! I also really appreciated being able to have full access to the kitchen. Very good value for money 😀

Such a lovely wee place, home away from home! Enough space for me and my daughter. Spa was a bonus for those chilly nights and relaxation! Super comfy bed, slept the best I have in ages. Just perfect, the added extras were above and beyond, breakfast, snacks, juice all ready in kitchen area. Made our trip easy and enjoyable. Highly recommended!! Rose and Roger amazing!

I love this place; both Gary & Penny's sweeeet home and beautiful Taupo! Though weather wasn't good, warm hospitality made my honeymoon the best of best; Room was clean with dedicated bathroom & bedroom, a wonderfull shared spaces with everything. Surely it's better option to take Gary & Penny's home rather than other hotels nearby Taupo downtown. Wish all the best to Gary & Penny!!😍❤️👍👍👍

Absolutely stunning room and hosts, Jeanette and Doug were lovely and very accommodating. We had a wonderful night chatting with them both, followed by a very generous breakfast in the morning. David welcomed us into his home and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived at his place His hospitality was one of kindness and marked professionalism. His interaction with us made us feel right at home. His accommodation was a 'home' away from home for us. His beautiful peaceful garden and orchard was breathtaking. David and Heather are wonderful host. They are so welcoming and helpful. The location is a good place to visit Tauranga and Mount Maunganui! The house was so clean and breakfast was lovely!!! I highly recommend staying there :)

Rob and Lindsay were excellent hosts and were so welcoming during our stay. Their house is located in a peaceful and beautiful area a short drive from Taupo. They went above and beyond to ensure it was an amazing experience. I can't recommend them highly enough and look forward to staying with them again in the future. This was my first time staying at Karen's home, and I was struck by how clean, comfortable, and warm it felt. Whenever we had a small question, we could easily reach Karen by phone, and she was always there to support us. She clearly puts a lot of heart into running this homestay, bringing a sense of warmth to her guests. This was the first time I truly felt a sense of "home" while staying at a homestay. Thank you to Karen and her family.

Marty & Lou's upstairs apartment is amazing! the furniture, the bed, the linen all incredibly comfortable. The space is so welcoming! so peaceful. An extreemly short walk to the lake's edge and so too the 10k walking trail that circles the lake. A short drive (2km maybe) to the blue lake (more trails, swimming, boating) and so maybe 3km to the worlds best mountain bike and running trails. While the breakfast room doesn't have cooking facilities that didn't worry us - Marty and Lou supplied breakfast and with less than a 9km drive to the nearest cafes and bars and maybe 12km to the CBD to find lunch or dinner we were set! We happily made basic meals thanks to simple cutlery and crockery, a small fridge, toaster and jug. We were able to store our mountain bikes and muddy running gear in the utility room. Marty, Lou and their cats were so friendly. We loved our stay and hope we can stay again.

This is a great place to stay if you’re after a bed for a few nights with an amazing, large, marble lined designer en-suite including a full bath. There is also the use of a private media room with a full size screen and projector perfect for movies and sports games. The decor of the house is tastefully and artfully done and the cooked breakfast in the morning was very tasty. Highly recommended.

Lorraine is the best experienced host you can get in Rotorua. We followed her advises about de Maori dance en singing. It was wonderful. Her breakfast is very good.

Such a beautiful place to stay! Unfortunately our plans changed and we could only stay one night, wished we could have spent more time there. After a chaotic flight over it was nice to have a peaceful getaway to reset. Would love to stay again!
