We spent an amazing weekend at this place in Rotorua. The home was very cozy, air conditioned, clean and well looked after. The host was very responsive, proactive in communication and made us feel very welcome. It is quite centrally located and it's easy to get around walking or a few minutes driving. Highly recommended and we'll definitely visit again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great space and sunny location. Modern, clean and warm, with beautiful outdoor space for our toddler to explore. Beds extremely comfy with luxury feel bedding (even took note of the pillows so I could buy some). Playground around the corner and walking distance to Taupo. Enjoyed our stay, thank you.

What a fantastic place! We had the Easter long weekend here and had a lovely time. Place was perfect with great views of the lake, well kitted out and clean. The owners were extremely communicative. Would book here in a flash!

Second stay here, heater was on when i arrived so house was beautifully warm. Lovely and peaceful and well set up so homely and comfortable.

We loved our stay here! The view was incredible and it was so quiet! There was practically no light pollution so we had great star gazing. We were far enough from town that we didn’t hear cars but close enough that it was easy to get to any destination we wanted. One of our top Airbnb locations!

The Redwood Retreat is the most amazing place. It offers everything you could wish for. Everything in this house is thoughtful and well-appointed. We felt right at home and enjoyed our holiday there, even when the weather turned nasty for three days. This house offers the perfect relaxing atmosphere after a day of adventure and activity. Quirky fun layout. Very practical & roomy enough for 9 guests. The kids loved that the pool was available even though it was Easter weekend. Roszarri was very helpful and welcoming.

Atiamurphy is one of the best AirBNB places we have stayed at. Service provided, Host Communication and the Location, is perfect, for me at least. kids will have a blast, parents will get their peace, and travellers will scratch that itch whilst here! Catherine's place exceeded all expectations. The space itself was incredibly roomy, making it perfect for relaxing, spending time with others, or just enjoying some quiet downtime. There were plenty of things to do, which kept everyone entertained throughout the stay—whether it was exploring the surroundings or enjoying the pool, reading books and playing the piano. What really stood out, though, was Catherine's hospitality. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, leaving a handwritten note and some thoughtful snacks for us to enjoy upon arrival. It's those personal touches that really make a difference and show how much she cares about her guests’ experience. Everything about the stay was smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable. I honestly can’t think of a single downside. I’d wholeheartedly recommend Catherine’s place to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-hosted getaway.

Yana has been amazing, our team stayed for two weeks at her lovely accommodation, she was very easy going and pleasant to deal with, we will be back in the area soon and are hoping we can stay again. The team were very pleased with the accommodation too, the spa bath was a lovely addition after a hard day's work, they also enjoyed watching the stars and listening to the birds - it was a perfect escape from the busy day on the road. We highly recommend Yana's hideaway to anyone!

We had a fantastic stay in Adrienne’s place whilst visiting family living close by. We enjoyed the family orientated spaces and the kids loved the pool and table tennis table. The kitchen allowed us to cook and dine altogether which was a really lovely thing to be able to do with our extended family and we enjoyed movies and boardgames in the evening afterwards. It’s a fab house and well worth the money🙌 Adrienne has all bases covered when it comes to kitchen equipment, utensils, consumables, towels, blankets etc. it really was a home away from home for us our only regret was that we couldn’t have booked it for longer. When we return we will definitely hoping we can book here again 🙏Many thanks to Adrienne again for sharing this special family space with us🙌

Let me just say, if i am ever in Tauranga again (from Florida), I know a fantastic B&B. Laura is a warm and welcoming host and her accommodation is clean, stylish, and comfortable. She is a detail person and it shows. We loved the neighborhood. Mount Maunganui was an easy drive and a great hike. The hot water pool at the base was relaxing. Laura cooked for us one night after a full day of activity. Delicious. Our stay at Laura's was a highlight of our NZ holiday.

Amazing place to stay. Super cosy, spotlessly clean, & super comfortable bed. Thanks for being pet friendly, we loved our weekend away with our 2 year of Labrador. 2 minute walk to beautiful beach for her to run & swim. Lots of thoughtful little extras, milk & juice in fridge, tea and coffee supplies, dog towels & balls. Thanks Wendy for a wonderful stay

Great spot to spend a few days. Beautiful views from the place. Space is in the smaller side with very small meal prep area on the sink. The unit has a very good heater for the evenings and when the midday sun warms the room up, the fly screens on all glass windows come in handy for some cool relief from the breeze. Would recommend!

It was a perfect stay for me and my partner to spend quality time together in a quiet, pleasant, and relaxed environment. Watching the stars at night while sitting in the spa under the open sky was an unforgettable experience. Thank you, Laura, for hosting us — you were very accommodating. My partner and I couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay for a long weekend the view and the house were somehow even more beautiful than the photos. Hilary and rob were extremely welcoming and helpful and we were even lucky enough to go on a beautiful bush walk with there dogs Winnie and Bennie. Couldn’t have asked for a better host and would highly recommend staying here. I know we will be back! ☺️

This was my second stay and I very much enjoyed it. The place was clean, warm, we had everything we needed for cooking, it’s close to the beach or the bay and my dog had a blast too! I’ll definitely stay again.

A comfortable, well located place with easy access off SH1 but far enough away to be nice and quiet. Ideal for breaking our journey overnight.
