The Wooden Cottage at Kookal Eco Farms

Kookal is a beautiful and quaint drive away from Kodaikanal, the Princess of Hills, 15 kms after Poomparai. If you are able to overcome the temptation of stopping by at the charming spots that dot the route, you can cover this distance of 32 km in a little over an hour from Kodaikanal. It is a perfect destination for those on the lookout for offbeat places to stay. Our cottage is located in a 5 acre property, facing the Shola forests and has an excellent view of the Kookal lake.

Alpine Abode Stay

This A-frame, 3-bedroom house is on a quiet street in Vilpatti, just 6 km from the central Kodaikanal. With nearly three-quarters of the front built with glass, the living room offers amazing views of the serene mountains. The house features a beautiful, extensive patio, a mini library, comfortable work seating, and a fully functional kitchen, making it perfect for families with kids. The sunrise view, with rays falling on the mountains, is best enjoyed from the first floor.

Whispering Waters Artist Cottage

The Artist is our smallest and cosiest cottage, ideal for up to 2 guests. It is surrounded by eucalyptus trees and a few steps away from the stream which runs through the farm. All cottages and the common dining room have wifi, 24/7 hot water and power back up. We are accessible by car and there is parking on the farm. Home style veg and non-veg meals are offered on the farm: Breakfast - Rs. 250 per head Lunch - Rs. 300 per head Dinner - Rs. 400 per head.

Perfect for remote working, families, couples or anyone looking to really switch off and be with nature in total privacy. My Caretaker can prepare all meals at a nominal additional cost. 💚
