Antonio is a fantastic host. Super responsive and very helpful especially with recommendations for local walks and for helping with animal health certificate requirements for returning to the UK. The house was big enough for the 11 of us and there was plenty for all of us to do for the whole week we were there. Any issues we had were resolved incredibly quickly by Antonio. Just a short walk from the house is a lovely little cafe that sells baguettes, coffee and some alcohol - very reasonably priced but please note only takes cash which caught us out on our first visit. We visited Balmaseda a couple of times which has an incredible bakery which I would very much recommend. The train station is less than 5 minutes walk but we didn’t get the train whilst we were there - it may have been quicker to get to bilbao and something to check out if you visit again. Really lovely hosts always ensuring everything was just perfect. Very thoughtful leaving little local gifts of yoghurt and fruit for us. It is a very quiet place, great views and walks close by. I would say hire car important to explore the local Urdaubai area.

Fantastic hospitality the people of Catalan are very friendly and the property was amazing but you definitely need a car to stay here as there nothing around no shops

We had a great weekend at Itxaso's place. We were very well received and received helpful recommendations about Bilbao and the surrounding area. The accommodation is very great and with several separate rooms it is perfect for larger groups. We didn't use the outdoor kitchen, but here there are good opportunities to cook some lovely meals. Would, however, highly recommend the restaurant Asador Bidegain which is 2min away from the accommodation. The only challenge we had was getting a taxi booking when we were going to the city center. The Spanish skills of the taxi drivers are very limited so calling to book a taxi was difficult. Uber and Bolt did not work In any case, we got very good help from Itxaso who drove us down to town so we could arrange a rental car. Great service!

The stay at Carmen's place was great! Communication with her from the first moment has been very good and has clarified all the doubts that could have arisen for us! The house is great and has enough space for all the guests it marks in the description. We have gone with two babies under 2 years old and they have also really enjoyed the stay! The shame is that it has made us bad weather and we could not enjoy the garden but we did not have the bbq of which the accommodation has. All the stays are equipped with what you need and the heating in autumn winter works great! The environment of the place is beautiful so in good weather it has to be a joy to enjoy it! Wow, what great house. The location is absolutely stunning in a little village with beautiful mountain views. The house itself is great—they’ve done a great job renovating and the whole thing feels very new and fresh and clean. A perfect place for a peaceful escape. Great communication as well. I would definitely stay here again.

The house is lovely and Antonio is an incredibly helpful host giving us lots of information. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great for us so the views weren't as beautiful as the pictures. I would say if you're looking for peace and quiet the house is perfect, but to do things other than hiking, you will need to do a fair bit of driving.

We had a great stay at this house. It is spacious and very well furnished, nicely furnished and it is pleasant to stay there. The garden is beautiful and we enjoyed it, the covered terrace allows you to eat outside even when it rains. The host is very friendly and accommodating.

the house is great for groups (up to 30, I think they can fit in without problems) It has a large dining room, lots of dishes, a BBQ area and a large garden! the only thing is that the bathrooms are outside the rooms.

Enclave privileged by the view. It's perfect for relaxing if you're going through but you'd also like to stay longer. You sit on a family farm. The host was very attentive to our arrival

This house was absolutely breathtaking. Although it is not in a main city it is definitely close by and worth a stay. This place overlooks a beautiful vineyard and makes you feel like you're in a little oasis. The outdoor entertainment was amazing with an outdoor kitchen and barbecue that allows for wonderful nights enjoying your time. The views are incredible, the town is peaceful. Hosts were extremely kind, helpful and gave great recommendations.

Great Peaceful Location, away from the usual crowded touristy places, but with lots to do and visit in the area, for interesting and fun day trips and beach only 50 minutes away.

Great house for exploring a wonderful area. Easy to walk into town, 15 mins. The local trains are great value. Great beaches, cycling and walking. House was ideal for us. Balcony has the best view but perhaps needs an upgrade. Javier was very helpful, brews good homemade wine.

From the first moment, Adela's service was very good, very communicative and she answered my questions. The accommodation is great, everything is very clean, tidy, it has everything you need (and more!) to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The fireplace is a plus at this time of year (December). The common area is spacious, two open kitchen and living room rooms, very comfortable when it comes to being in the accommodation. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable beds, everything was clean and in order. The bathroom is somewhat narrow (it depends on each person's taste), although the shower is wonderful. The window didn't open and it was the only drawback I found. Everything else was magnificent. The village is quiet, in a beautiful valley, with possibilities for sports around and tourism (Bilbao 30min, Vitoria 40min...) Our stay has been amazing. The place is great, in the middle of nature, an ideal and peaceful place to relax. A beautiful garden and a very chulo apartment. In addition, it is 10 minutes away from the beach. And what about Itziar, it's a charm, attentive to everything you ask for and even what you might need. Naiara’s house is in a beautiful location and very peaceful. It has everything you need and was very well presented. Felt right at home, highly recommend
