Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Basel

We had a lovely week in Frank and Inka’s beautiful home in Huningue. The space was light and airy, tastefully decorated, and spotlessly clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. The location is great: 7-8 minute walk to a French supermarket, 5 minutes to the village centre, 7-8 minutes to the trams in Germany and from there an easy ride into Basel. Frank made us feel very welcome and was flexible on the check in time which was appreciated after a long flight. He welcomed us with a fridge stocked with local drinks, answered questions before and during our stay, and gave us a lovely gift on departure. Highly recommend!

Pleasant stay in this spacious, fully-equipped duplex studio located in a pleasant residential area, near the Rhine. The vast space available and the calm were particularly appreciated with the children. Thank you to Leonore and Bea for the welcome and responsiveness!

Everything went perfectly for our family stay (2 adults, 2 children) at the "Jardin Fleuri" - which deserves its name and was beautifully decorated for Easter. The rooms were nice and comfortable, very clean, and the kitchen/dining room pleasant to live in and functional. We found nice surprises for our arrival, and the basics (butter, coffee, cleaning products, etc.) were available on site to start the stay with peace of mind. The location was perfect for visits to both Basel and Mulhouse. Marie Christine was pleasant, attentive and available when needed.

Accommodation that was well described, no surprises. Very good bedding for the 3 beds, clean accommodation and everything you need inside. Small downside but nothing serious, the shower flow is very low, not enough pressure. Otherwise, a very good stay and very attentive hosts.

Super responsive host and had a great nights sleep!

It was a pleasant stay at Geralds Apartment. It is placed in a calm neighbourhood but you get to Basel within 15min Drive. The flat was described as in the picture and the check in was very smooth. It was clean and very comfy and we would want to stay again at Geralds place. Thanks for being such an amazing host and the delicious Alsace wine!

We had a lovely stay here. Nothing to complain about. Everything was as described and even better. Luca was very helpful and responsive. He let us check in early and also leave our bags in the lobby area after checking out which was super helpful as it was a very hot weekend and bags were heavy. Everything was clean and well stocked. We loved all the little extras that were there to use. Navigating our way around from the apartment to anywhere we wanted to visit was very easy on public transport. Transport was free with the Baselcard and half price to many attractions which was amazing. A great experience, thank you. I would stay there again.

The place has a great location; We visited friends in Basel and it was great! Basel is quick and easy to reach by bus. The apartment was very clean and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Shopping and a bakery are right around the corner. We felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime!

Great place! Spacious, Super Clean , Comfortable flat. Very quiet street. It's a 5 min walk to Basel congress center which was my prime destination but also so close to public transportation to get you across the river. Supermarket and restaurants at walking distance. Cute balcony overlooking a sweet yard with beautifull trees , perfect for having your morning coffee. Coco is vey responsive at all times. Had a great time. Highly recomended stay.

We visited Ludovic for the second time and it was exceedingly good! Clean, tidy, everything available and very cozy! Ludovic responds very quickly and is a wonderful, friendly host. We will be happy to come back!

Great location for a beautiful apartment with a view of Markplatz. A wonderful location for Carnival if you want to be in the center of everything.

Linh helped to arrange an earlier check in, once her other guests checked out. She provided us with excellent restaurants and help finding the grocery store and tramlines. Everything was as described and as luck would have it, our cruise line docked literally in front of her building!

Sharmeen went above and beyond expectations. The unit is very elegant, comfortable, clean and has everything a guest needs. She was very accommodating with our check in needs and always checked to see if we need anything. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Sharmeen’s and hope to be back, highly recommended. It was very pleasant that we were also able to check in later in the evening. It was all totally straightforward. Communication went well. We were very warmly welcomed. Our hostess even baked a typical cake of the area. This was a great surprise. We felt very comfortable in the spacious apartment. The cozy and cuddly bed gave us a wonderful sleep. Around the apartment everything is green, circling storks above our heads, very idyllic. The town center can be reached on foot, where there are two very good bakeries, various restaurants with French cuisine and the usual snack options (kebab, pizza & co). Here we definitely rested very well, even if our stay of 2 nights was unfortunately very short.

Everything was perfect, Samir is very kind and pleasant and the accommodation was perfect. The accommodation is very close to Basel, both by train and by car.

It was a beautiful and peaceful place with an outside table with chairs. It is as described and when we ran into a problem with a broken iPhone lead they helped us straightway. We are extremely grateful for it all

I had a very nice stay at Simone's apartment. Everything was as described. I particularly liked the well-equipped kitchen, the large bed and the quiet location with trees and without a road in front of the windows. Simone was very friendly and reliable. All in all perfect for trips to Basel - by bus or tram you are in the city center in ten minutes. I'd love to come back when I visit the area!

Inge is a great host. She made sure we knew how to get to her apartment and printed Baselcard transit passes for us. The first floor apartment is located in a quiet and lovely neighborhood and has good WiFi, all amenities needed for a comfortable stay, and access to a pleasant back yard. Inge even provided milk, bread, eggs and fruit for our stay. We would be happy to stay here again on future trips.

Great, modern little place. Spacious and well equip! Hot water wasn't working and the host came over to help us with the boiler!

Had a really great stay at Goran's lovely apartment! Found parking nearby and good food within comfortable walking distance! I wouldn't hesitate to return! Highly recommended!
