We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean and comfortable, and Emma was such a lovely host. It had everything we needed, making our stay smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Little gem of a cottage, which is much bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside! Beautifully & tastefully equipped with quality fittings, furniture, appliances & utensils - everything you could need for a relaxing break. Highly recommended.

The cottage was warm & welcoming. John provided a generous welcome pack of goodies and was flexible and responsive to any questions. We really appreciated the beauty of the surrounding countryside and peaceful environment of the cottage. Despite it being a spring visit we enjoyed having the fire lit for us one evening. I have no hesitation to recommend Johns cottage.

Fantastic stay! Plenty of space to spread out, everything was provided and the house was immaculate, clean & toasty warm. Lovely welcome basket and great recommendations and advice (great meal at the Crown & Anchor & stunning walk to the secret waterfall!) Kids could have stayed on the trampoline all day, adults in the hot tub :) Highly recommend if looking for a cosy home with easy access to Peak District.
