I cannot overstate how amazing this place is. I was looking for an escape into the woods and it was exactly what I wanted. The setting of the cottage is stunning, right on the river and surrounded by trees. It feels remote, even though it's only a short walk into the village. The welcome was really friendly, you can tell that the owners are very active in their community and have put together loads of local info. I particularly liked the map of the community forrest which made me feel confident enough to explore walks by myself. The cottage itself is beautifully kept, with everything that you need, and then some. I didn't want to leave.

Great location with lovely views. We stayed for our wedding and Lucy was very accommodating with deliveries etc dropping things off in the morning. Lucy's place was very clean and had all the amenities you could want. A great place!

We stayed at Charlotte and Lewys’s house as a family trip to Barry. We came to do the Gavin and Stacey Tour, which was excellent. The accommodation was just what we needed as we also travel with our Golden retriever. It was clean and had everything we needed. Hosts were welcoming and helpful. Even some treats for our dog, which she enjoyed. Everything is in close walking distance. Very close to the beach and amusements. And a little walk into town. It really was a lovely stay and we would recommend highly. Many thanks

Sue was a wonderful host - she messaged us prior to arrival to give us very helpful instructions on how to find the place & was always quick to reply to messages. The place is really cosy and has a nice homey feel to it. The stairs are a bit tricky at first, but you get used to it after a few time and forget about it being troublesome. The bed was so comfy & the pillows were so good that we went and bought some of the same brand ones oursepves! This accommodation is ideal if you are going to be spending the day in Cardiff as it is only a short car ride away. Both me and my partner can happily recommend this place to anyone!

A very homely place, full of personal touches. The hosts go out of the way to make sure you have everything you need. Very responsive to messages. Very comfortable. Would definitely stay again if we needed to. Very accessible to local amenities and trainline to Cardiff

The original cottage has been renovated , decorated and furnished to a very high standard, making it a comfortable place to be. The outdoor space is delightful, with the relaxing sound of the river below and the plentiful birdsong.

My Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay , It was like a home 🏠 from home 🏡, very clean , Garden looks amazing 🤩 Beds most importantly very comfortable, Lynette a very responsive host ,great local walks, amazing mountain ⛰️ views from the windows and garden!we are definitely 👍🏻 coming back!! Rob’s place is in a quiet, developing part of Cardiff. It is easy walking distance to the heart of Cardiff’s central, pedestrian-friendly core which leads to Cardiff Castle and Bute Park beyond. The harbor can be reached after a pleasant 20-minute stroll along the River Taff. The unit is immaculate and well supplied, and Rob was kind enough to meet us upon our arrival and give us the lay of the land.

Liz was great, she was responsive and proactive and everything was as described. For it was ideal for us, out of the centre- max 10 min walk, 5 mins from the stadium. Thanks Liz

We spent just one night at Kay’s lovely apartment. She responded quickly to any questions , very clean, comfy bed and lovely decking over a very pretty stream.

I had a great stay and Sian and Gareth’s place. Sian was really helpful and flexible with checking in and out which was much appreciated. I was given a tour of the flat on arrival and shown where everything was. The flat was immaculately clean and looked like the photos. It was spacious and had everything I needed for the weekend, especially the kitchen which is well equipped. The location was peaceful and accessible for getting about South Wales. I’d definitely recommend a stay here and will be back!

We had the best weekend staying in the old snooker hall. It was lovely and open space, everything we needed and just beautiful.

Andrew was an extremely helpful and forthcoming host. We needed to be close to the Principality Stadium during our visit, and Andrew’s home is about a 10/15 min walk to the main centre of Cardiff, so it’s in a great spot! Everything felt very clean and all amenities were provided. Andrew’s communication was superb, very friendly and happy to help. Check-in instructions were provided ahead of time, and were very easy to follow. I highly recommend Andrew’s place if you’re flying through Cardiff and want to be near to the centre!

Perfect spot for me travelling solo for a quick stay. Very easy to find, everything I needed, close enough to centre of town to meet friends, Rhys was great and very responsive.

We stayed at Cheryl & Charley’s beautiful home for 2 nights as my partner attended the Swansea half-marathon. It was literally like home from home & felt so at peace from the moment we stepped through the door. They thought of everything down to high chair, toys, books & travel cot for our little girl. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay, my partner is planning on booking Swansea half-marathon again for 2026 therefore we will 100% be coming back to stay 😊

I stayed with Mike and Bert for two weeks while a house sale went through, I brought with me my high maintenance Bengal cat Kevin Bacon. During our stay Mike has gone out of his way to accommodate us, the accommodation is completely separate and lockable, I felt completely safe, I knew Kevin was secure and didn’t see any red flags. Mike is laid back and approachable, the perfect host. The bed is extremely comfortable and everything I have needed has been included with no extra costs or limitations. Bert is a very good boy and has been trained properly, he doesn’t go upstairs but he will bring you a shoe each time he sees you as a greeting, Bert was completely safe around Kevin when I took Kevin in the garden. There is easy parking at the accommodation and lots to do in the area, lots of walks, castles, stepping stones over rivers, sand dunes, beaches, horse riding and a decent selection of Pubs. If I ever end up homeless again I will be coming back! Thank you.

This was a lovely home and Becks was incredibly friendly and helpful. It was clean, comfortable and everything had been well thought through. She even provided bread, milk, jam etc which was most welcome! There is free parking - def a bonus - and the bus stop into town was a 2 minute walk away. Thank you so much - I definitely hope to come back!

The flat was lovely inside. Jane was a great host, very quick to reply to messages and provided very clear instructions. The flat had all the bits you needed in it &Jane provided milk and some lovely bits for our stay!

Really cute apartment. Modern, clean and well located. Really quiet area, slept well. We were in Swansea for an event on Sunday and it was a very easy 20min straightforward drive to the centre. Also, lovely welcoming touches, milk, bread loaf, butter and handmade Welsh cakes. Highly Recommend a stay.

We booked this last minute for a quick getaway and we will definitely return! Such a beautiful apartment with loads of outdoor space and the children’s bedroom was dreamy! They’ve requested the same lights at home! All the little touches were very much appreciated, thank you again Dave for being so wonderful :)
