Lynda is a brilliant host and had tea, coffee, milk and fruits ready for us before we arrived. The place was very clean and felt like home. Kids loved the place and the board games. The icing on the cake is the location as, it is next to Ocean edge. She responded promptly for any questions we had. We have enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return back if we visit surrounding places. Thank you very much for hosting us Lynda, we had a great time.

We had an amazing stay! The cottage was just as described and in the perfect location so we hardly had to use the car at all and were able to walk to Windermere, Bowness and Brockhole with our two girls ( 13 and 8). The use of the nearby pool was an added bonus after a day in the mountains. We’ll definitely be back! 😀

This place was beyond our expectations. Immaculately presented, super clean, tidy, jaw dropping views. I can't fault it in any way and I can't rate it highly enough. Will definately look to return in the future. Stunning!

House was as described, beautiful setting with wonderful views of the hills and mountains. Rooms are spacious with comfy beds and bathrooms are nicely finished with good showers. Kitchen is a good size and has all required implements. A great location for exploring the central lakes and soaking up all that Ambleside has to offer.

What can I say, we had a lovely stay and would highly recommend. Jackie is an amazing host and could not be more accommodating and helpful. The caravan was so lovely and homely. Extremely clean with everything we could possibly need as a home from home. The beds were comfortable and we all had good nights sleep. Thank you so much for letting us stay.

Our family had a lovely stay at Burrowbank at the end of the summer holiday. The house is fantastic with all the facilities you could ask for. The kids loved the swings and most of all the pool, while the covered (heated) BBQ area meant evening meals outside watching the sunset. Great location and setting, very private and we would definitely come again and recommend to others. Martyn and Christine were very helpful and went the extra mile (even posting my daughter’s disposable camera that she left behind). Can’t think of any negatives and we made some great/happy memories.

We had a wonderful stay at Willow Cottage. It is a beautiful cottage with everything you need. Jo went above and beyond to ensure we got the most out of our holiday and she was the perfect host. The area is peaceful and idyllic with lovely beaches and beach side cafes. The cottage and area is very dog friendly which was great for us! Overall, we had a lovely stay at Willow Cottage and we will definitely be looking to return in the very near future.

The house was a great place from which to explore the surrounding towns and villages. Ulverston is a lovely little town to visit and a short drive away. Anthony was very helpful and accurate on his description of Askam. We settled in on the evenings and lit the cozy log burner. Anthony was very responsive and helpful both before and during our stay.

This is an absolutely wonderful little house, in beautiful condition. Clean, comfortable and homely, it even has plentiful toys, games and books which our 4yo was delighted by. It's within an easy walk of Morecambe prom, Morecambe town centre, Happy Mount Park, and a fish and chip shop. We would highly recommend staying here, and we hope to return one day soon. Had a weekend of hiking and exploring the Lake District planned with 6 people, and the Braffin property was absolutely perfect for our stay. There was enough space for everyone, and had everything we needed from being able to cook dinner in the kitchen, to relax in the lounge watching TV. Having the fire place on in the evening was a bonus that made the place feel even more cosy than it already was, and the views of the town and sea from the window were amazing. Clare was an extremely friendly and helpful host, always quick to respond to messages and making sure our stay was as comfy as possible.

Great place beautiful garden , really homely, host responded really quickly to any questions. We had a few issues with the cooker, again the host was really quick to assist with this. Was really peaceful and in a beautiful setting !

We had a very restful and enjoyable stay at 32 Oversands Drive. Excellent communications with the owners throughout. Such a spacious, well-equipped and beautiful home. Felt relaxed the moment we stepped inside. The well-stocked garden, full of late summer flowers, provided a perfect spot for sitting. Great views across Morecambe Bay to the hills on the other side; you can see the weather coming and going across the great sweep of sky. Grange over Sands such a friendly place. Lovely walks along the promenade overlooking the saltmarsh and estuary, beautiful old station, plenty of independent shops. Nearby Cartmel well worth a visit. We had booked Predator Experience for our son's 21st birthday, and had a great time there, getting to know the wolves! It's also not too long a drive to the Lakes: we climbed Harter Fell and Loughrigg, visiting Coniston and Ullswater as well. A perfect holiday, made really special by having such a comfortable, spacious and welcoming place to stay. Thank you.

Diana's property provided everything needed home from home. I can only describe the accommodation as stunning the photos did not do it justice. From cleanliness to comfort it is top notch. We will be booking for next year for the same event without hesitation, there is plenty to do in Ulverston we did not have enough time this trip to dobas muchbascwe would have liked. Diana provided clear concise instructions to ensured a smooth arrival her response to any questions if needed were friendly and quick. Thank you again.

Absolutely fabulous stay! Gorgeous views and have never felt so relaxed in a short space of time. Liz and Dave’s directions were brilliant and helped us find their plot with ease. The caravan had a lovely, clean and fresh smell as we arrived and it was spotless. Beautiful surroundings and so peaceful. Considering there were so many other caravans close by, it felt really private and like it was just us there. We were gutted to come home and cannot wait to come back! We’re already planning our return trip and cannot recommend Liz and Dave’s property enough! Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

Stunning house with amazing views. Laik were so helpful and gave clear instructions with plenty of notice before arrival. Their digital guidebook was amazing. Would recommend this house and laik to anyone.

This is the second time that we have used Gerard's house and our stay was as good as the previous occasion. The house is clean, welcoming, and perfectly located for exploring the west lake district area. Being close to the centre of Millom was important for our visit to the area and Gerard's house is ideal. We were able to park outside the house which was also important for us. I had a couple of queries during our stay and Gerard was very quick to respond to these. Checking in and out is straightforward. We would certainly stay here again if we need to be in Millom for a few days.

Beautiful property, well worth the visit!

We had a wonderful few days at Winkley Hall Farm. Fantastic property in a wonderful, peaceful location with everything you need for a relaxing, long weekend break. Our communication with our hosts was great from the moment we booked, to arrival and throughout our stay. And the lovely welcome gift was an added surprise and greatly appreciated! We were sad to leave and would definitely recommend this property, and will look to return at some point in the future.

Wanted a short break so didn't want to have to travel far from Manchester. This location was ideal just over an hour away. The cottage was brilliant. Lovely deco. Kitchen brilliant I like to cook and kitchen had everything needed...I could have cooked a roast dinner there. All utensils cooking pots plates etc there. Bathroom spotless and good shower. A bath there if you prefer a soak. Bed comfy. Location quiet but there are 3 pubs and 3 takeaway within 5 minute walk. Also a late opening Coop express and a chemist.Parking nearby is good. Natalie communications prompt. Would highly recommended this location...we'll be using it again. We did the Ingleton Waterfall Trail located just 20 minute drive away. Doing this was worth the trip alone. It is £11 adult but really is worth it. Is a proper walk not just a path so appropriate footwear needed. Take a picnic some great locations to eat. Takes a good 4 hours to do but waterfalls and walk are great day out. Plenty of steps though.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for a few days. The cottage was absolutely lovely and super clean with a great selection of appliances and facilities. Louise was very easy to communicate with and very kind. We would definitely recommend!

Danes Court House is a beautiful historic building in a fantastic location with stunning views, very secluded. We could not fault anything the cleanliness, whole ambiance of the rooms, decor and quality of the furnishings just beautiful!. Hannah was a great host pleasant and very responsive. One of the best properties we have stayed in. Highly recommendable! Thank you for an amazing stay.

Richmond House is by far the best & most luxurious AirBNB we have stayed in in the UK. Everything about the place is gorgeous, well thought out, extremely comfortable & practical. The kitchen has pretty much everything you could need, induction hot plate is awesome & the oven makes a wonderful roast! There was even EcoVer dishwashing liquid & Lakes hand wash & hand cream. This is such a lovely touch having something natural & not doused overly scented commercial products. The bedding & towels were definitely next level & the beds were super super comfy (medium latex topped) with serene bedroom furnishings - absolutely fabulous sleep in a very quiet neighbourhood. We dealt with Otto & found him to be very helpful, friendly & a pleasure. He also arranged for a lovely welcome gift that was gratefully received. The only thing to make staying here even better would be to have a personal chef so that you could just absorb the lux nature of Richmond House. Thank you Otto for creating this!
