Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Barcelos

Spacious house with all necessary amenities conveniently located near Barcelos city center. Not much to do or see in the immediate vicinity but easy to get around with car. Inês replies almost immediately and her father (Luis) was always super helpful and pleasant. Overall, a great stay in a well equipped house.

Comfortable and quiet accommodation, super well decorated, good furniture and with all amenities. A good place to come back each day after you have toured much of northern Portugal. 100% recommended

The house was great, such a beautiful place. We didn’t had weather good enough for the pool, nonetheless we really enjoyed our stay. There’s air conditioning if you need to, and the bedroom had very comfy cloths. The bed was very comfortable as well, usually we don’t adapt very well, but both me and my girlfriend slept really well. The kitchen was very well equipped and allowed us to cook everything we wanted. You have beautiful surroundings and it’s very quiet so you can relax without any noise or problems surround you. We probably will return when good weather comes! :)

Edouardo's place is great, the kitchen is spacious. The bathroom is equipped with everything you need (laundry, toilet paper, towel, shower gel...). The apartment is well located, close to the sea and activities

There were seven of us and we had a great two weeks in Ruth's and Anthony's house. You can wonderfully linger in the house and in the many outdoor areas, the garden is a dream and the pool very pleasant. But it is also ideally located for excursions: Porto is close and the sea is also only 15 minutes away by car. Ruth and Anthony are extremely warm and welcoming hosts who were always responsive and gave us numerous tips. Thank you for this great vacation!

We spent a lovely week in Dino and Ines's house. They were wonderful hosts - very kind and attentive - and gave us great advice on what to do - even down to where to park for free! The house is lovely - really spacious and comfortable - and it was fantastic to have a pool to relax in. The house is a great base for exploring the area - our favourites were the beach at Vila Cha, the market at Barcelos (we used the shuttle bus in and out), a day trip to Pena Adventure Park and also Viana do Castelo. Porto is also really easy to get to. Overall a wonderful stay. Thank you!

I spent two months in the apartment – it became my Portuguese home. The apartment is well equipped, you will find everything in it. It was new, tidy, but it's better to have a car for accessibility to the city. If I come back to Portugal, I will definitely come back to the same apartment as well. Communication with the hosts went smoothly. I didn't mind the ground floor location either, the balcony is facing to enter the building, I never had a problem. Across the road is a market, Lidl is 6 minutes by car. I recommend the apartment by all ten.

We really enjoyed our stay! The apartment was cute, and Maria was very friendly and helpful. The apartment is in a rural enclave between Braga and Barcelos, providing easy access by car to surrounding towns. There are three large comfortable bedrooms, a dining room and a large terrace with a great view. The bathroom was newly renovated. A few things to consider: the gas stove was fine, but the oven appeared to be wood-heated, so not practical. One of the 2 bathrooms was outside the apartment, in a shared space downstairs. The pool, instead of a standard above-ground swimming pool, was more like a raised pond. It was good for a dip, but it wouldn’t have been good for small kids (no steps or shallow end) or for swimming (too small). The animals were super cute though city folks like us might be awoken by the roosters ;) There was also noise from the nearby highway. On the whole, we were happy with our stay and would stay again! A cute, convenient apartment with a lovely host :)

It was a pleasure to be at Olivia and Salvador's house, just like at home, everything was perfect, clean, tidy with everything you need to spend a few perfect days. They made us feel very comfortable, they are very close, but always respecting privacy. They gave us great advice to organize the different visits. They have a garden and an orchard that are a paradise. The location was unbeatable, "close" to all parts of northern Portugal, so you don't have to drive all day. A great home to always keep in mind when you want to get to know all of northern Portugal

Our stay at the apartment in Vila do Conde went very well. It is located on a very quiet street with space to park the car. The residence is very clean, it is on the 1st floor with asenceur, 1 minute walk to the beach and its sunset😎. There is a little noise from neighbors due to the resonance of the walls but nothing exceptional for a condominium. There is a supermarket and restaurants 5 minutes walk away, it's super convenient👍. When we arrived, we were super well received by Sandra's parents despite the big delay of our plane and we sincerely thank them with this message🙏🙏.

I wish I could give 10 stars! This place is beyond amazing. The view is unbelievable and the whole apartment is gorgeous. They have everything you can think of and more. Paula met us and was helpful and sweet. I recommend paying for the private parking spot in the garage. It was very convenient. Can’t wait to return!

The accommodation was very spacious and there was ample space to unfold. The ambience is rather functional and not particularly homely but we lacked nothing. You are privately accommodated there, but also anonymous. You won't be making contacts there. The kitchen is well equipped and the washing machine washes well. The wifi router is located in the property and the internet is fast. I particularly liked the large sliding wall with which you can protect the living area from the sun. The proximity to the beach is unbeatable, with the gastronomy in the area offering little change. Shopping facilities are a 15-20 min walk. After all, you have a vacation and plenty of time. We felt comfortable and the place was absolutely worth its money. Thank you

The apartment has a great location, and although it is in the center, there is no noise. It was clean and ready to welcome us. With all amenities. João, from the beginning, proved to be completely available for whatever was necessary during our stay. I have to thank the couple once again for letting us make their corner, ours too. It was an excellent stay. excellent facilities, very friendly on the part of Peter and his wife, the house is very good, excellent cleanliness 👍👍👍👍 very close to the beach, Malafaia and very good access, balcony overlooking the sea. If I go back to the north, it will be my home of choice. I loved it
