Very nice space, very welcoming. Everything is very comfortable and the house is not lacking anything. It was perfect

Friendly Host. Very receptive to pets. Our dog played a lot with their dogs. Very quiet. Walk distance to the pretty Lagoa Porto Covo.

Five stars to Casa de Cardido and to Rui and Alexandra for being wonderful hosts. We were a little late checking in, but Rui greeted us with a smile and a very generous tabua of local cheeses and meats. The hosts go above anything expected, with a sound system at the pool, exercise equipment, and fresh bread delivered daily. The house is a traditional Portuguese home - and it feels like a “home” not a rental. We spent two weeks here and it felt like staying with family. I noticed that one review commented on how close the highway is. Please know this is not a problem. You can see the highway when approaching the home from the road, but you cannot hear it and it does not interfere with the experience. This is very high quality stay with caring and involved hosts that will make sure you have all you need. I highly recommend.

A very quiet, rustic and rural setting. Sooooooo peaceful. Fantastic place to escape the city, get some rest and reconnect with nature. The outdoor, wood-heated bath was great, although it did seem a little decadent for just one person. Ideal for a couple. There is a river and Diogo (who is very friendly and very helpful) said he has a canoe. Although it was still quite cool in the mornings (early April), there is a wood-burner and an AC unit that also heats. The driveway is do-able but more for adventurous drivers. The village (Macieira da Maia) is very authentic and it is only about 10-15 min to the beach. Vila do Conde has a beautiful old-town. Many great beaches along the coast. Braga is only about 40 min, Oporto, about 20-30 min by car.

We had a pleasant stay! Maria and Joachim are two lovely people who are eager to do well as well as responsive and attentive to the slightest of our requests Beautiful mountain views and a deckchair pool area to rest. Everything we needed for a very good time. I highly recommend this rental.

We had a very nice week! A great house where we felt very comfortable. Everything you need is available. Beach can be reached in 2 minutes on foot. A great place to enjoy some peace and relax :-)

Great stay in this beautiful villa, very functional. Breathtaking view from the terrace. Very responsive and friendly host. Beach access directly from the accommodation with a great walk along the beach. Restaurants, bars and food shops nearby. We recommend the place.

this place is great for a short vacation, as well as a long stay like ours. though it is small it is also very comfortable (and cozy). the kitcenette was well equiped and i cooked almost all our meals there. julia was friendly, nice and attentive. she was always within reach if we needed something. i definitly recommend staying here if you are in need of accomodation in this beautiful area of portugal.

Anabela and Denis welcomed us warmly to their charming studio. They were available, full of good advice and are very pleasant on a daily basis. Extremely friendly, it was a real pleasure to chat together. The studio is very clean and is furnished with great care. It has a full kitchen and a private bathroom. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at their place and recommend them without a second thought! Thank you for everything!

This place is beautiful and so much bigger than you can make out on the photos. Very spacious, comfortable and well equipped for a long stay. Also in such a beautiful location, we would never have found if it wasn’t for finding this home on Airbnb. We would recommend this place to anyone!

Beautiful accommodation very pleasant to live with several with each bathroom in the bedrooms Pedro is very responsive and does not hesitate to come and help if there is a problem I would recommend it
