Beautiful quiet location overlooking the lake. We immediately felt comfortable in the house. We'd love to come back!

Absolutely lovely apartment in a gorgeous location. Anja's family are lovely and made us feel very welcome. The apartment itself is at the top of a steep road - walkable, but it's a shock to the system the first time - and Overath is a pleasant journey by rail or bus to Cologne, Bonn and the rest of the local area. It's very comfortable and clean, and the kitchen is small but very well-appointed. We had a wonderful.time.

We had a fantastic time. The entire house is impeccably designed, maintained, and equipped. We loved the spacious living area with its gorgeous views and after a day of skiing the sauna and the hot tub with a beautiful view of the stars were just right. The house also works really well for families with younger kids when the stairs are secured (e.g. using a travel crib).

2nd stay at Gilla's, really perfect like the first time. I recommend it!

Iordanis' place was excellent in all respects - it was spacious, well kitted out, warm (as we visited in December) and homely. Access to ample parking was very useful too as we had two cars with us. Iordanis was a very responsive host and was accessible whenever we needed him. The Christmas tree with the lighting was a nice touch as well!

Once again a great stay with lovely hosts!

She was a great host.. very friendly, responsive and great to communicate with.. And her home was so quiet, serene and a place worth spending time indoors ..it looked more beautiful and spacious than pictures. will definitely come again

We had such a lovely time at Peter and Anne’s place! The apartment was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully prepared—perfect for both relaxing and working remotely. We were three people, and each of us had a comfortable bed to sleep in. We worked from the apartment during the day and spent our free time exploring the beautiful area on foot. We recommend car travel, but the bus station is just across the street. Everything was within walking distance, and the neighborhood had such a peaceful and charming vibe—and ducks! Anne was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. On our first day — which happened to be the start of the Cologne Carnival — Peter and Anne even picked us up from the train station. We weren’t prepared for the crowds and are genuinely thankful for their help. We highly recommend staying here if you plan to travel around this area. The apartment has a very comfortable access. The interior space is bright and very spacious. The location is great for visiting the city. The double bed is very comfortable and the sofa bed can be improved. Phenomenal lounging. Fantastic linens and bath. We are very happy to have chosen this apartment. Thank you

Great apartment. Very nice landlord. I could always reach out to him who I would have had. I used the apartment professionally to be closer to the fair. Thanks to the quiet location, I was able to switch off after a stressful noisy everyday trade fair. Great that you could park the car right outside the door, which made packing and unpacking the many things much easier. Everything you needed. The bed was very comfortable. Workspace available. Will definitely be reserved for next time.

We felt very comfortable with Caroline. Everything was friendly and cozy. Very clean. There was nothing missing. We would book with Caroline again.

Maike's apartment is great! All you need for a very nice holiday. Maike was very clear in communicating the rules beforehand and during the check in. She also answered quickly to our messages, gave us nice tips and was flexible to our demands. All in all, we had a great stay!

From our point of view, 5 stars. Umut was very friendly all the time and answered questions very quickly. The apartment was clean, generously sized, and fully equipped. The situation is quiet and very pleasant. Larger cities can be reached quickly. If we are around again we would book the apartment again. I am thrilled. Arrival was great and I was immediately warmly welcomed. Both are super sweet and the location really nice. I had a lot of time to write in peace and could always contact Thomas and his wife. There was even a folder where all the important information and shops were listed nearby - with about the duration of the footpath. Just great! Always happy to come back.

Great place for relaxing. Lots of nature and tranquility. Perfect with little kids. Almost no cars, play area, trampoline. Anja was so sweet to set up a paddling pool for the little ones. Swimming pool was especially beautiful for our big ones. Thank you. We will be happy to come back.

We spent New Year's Eve in the Stranzenburg in a small group. Really a beautiful unique house with charm! Ursula was a great host who even greeted us with a cake. If you have any questions, we were always able to reach out and received a quick response. We were all very comfortable.

We will be happy to come back! We were welcomed directly in a friendly way and everything was shown to us on site. Especially for children, a lot is offered on site. Next to the animals there are two games rooms and a small swimming pool. The property was clean, well-maintained, and superbly decorated.
