Beautiful quiet location overlooking the lake. We immediately felt comfortable in the house. We'd love to come back!

Absolutely lovely apartment in a gorgeous location. Anja's family are lovely and made us feel very welcome. The apartment itself is at the top of a steep road - walkable, but it's a shock to the system the first time - and Overath is a pleasant journey by rail or bus to Cologne, Bonn and the rest of the local area. It's very comfortable and clean, and the kitchen is small but very well-appointed. We had a wonderful.time.

Beautiful house with many amenities. It's also nice that previous residents leave things so that you can already run a wash or make coffee the first day. The village of Silbach is also very beautiful and has a nice shop and playground for the kids. Plenty to do in the area and with that it makes this vacation a 10!

Matthias received us in a totally friendly way, even before arrival the communication was very nice. The apartment is beautifully located on the outskirts of the old town, everything is easily accessible on foot. We were able to park not far away for free on Friedrichstraße. Very nicely decorated, everything you need. Totally cozy. Hattingen itself offers a beautiful corner next to the other, we had a wonderful getaway and would be happy to come back. Dogs are not only allowed in the accommodation, but welcome, thank you for that!

If we had a question, they were immediately there to help us with helpful information and tips. ▪︎ A shopping market in the immediate vicinity (within walking distance in 2 minutes) is great. ▪︎ We would stay there again anytime and highly recommend the roof apartment with extra sleeping space in a separate room.

We had such a lovely time at Peter and Anne’s place! The apartment was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully prepared—perfect for both relaxing and working remotely. We were three people, and each of us had a comfortable bed to sleep in. We worked from the apartment during the day and spent our free time exploring the beautiful area on foot. We recommend car travel, but the bus station is just across the street. Everything was within walking distance, and the neighborhood had such a peaceful and charming vibe—and ducks! Anne was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. On our first day — which happened to be the start of the Cologne Carnival — Peter and Anne even picked us up from the train station. We weren’t prepared for the crowds and are genuinely thankful for their help. We highly recommend staying here if you plan to travel around this area. This was an amazing place to stay. You feel at home with the first step that you take into this cute house. It is cozy, comfortable, and is stocked with anything you need for the first day you arrive. The Kitchen is equiped with all the necessary things, ready for a chef to cook for family or friends. Top rating from all of us 4 occupants👍. Thank you for an unforgettable experience.

I felt everything was excellent from booking to check-in and stay. The host always responded immediately and was super friendly. The apartment was very neat and clean and lovingly furnished. We felt very comfortable there and the location was perfect for visiting the fair. I look forward to booking this accommodation the next time I visit the fair.

Sandra is a great hostess. The communication with her was very pleasant. The house is in a wonderful setting. It is on a slope and overlooks a large green valley. But you should arrive by car. Sandra also provided plenty of seating outside. The apartment is very well equipped. We didn't miss anything. On the contrary, we were allowed to use coffee pods, tea bags, spices and the grill.

We stayed in the beautiful Bergisch Gladbach in Umut's apartment for a few days. Umut is a superb host. The instructions for the apartment worked perfectly. We felt very comfortable in the apartment. One floor above the apartment is a pool and sauna that can be used. Shopping facilities are easily accessible on foot. We'd come back any time, as it's a beautiful area and Umut is a great host.

Our stay was very good. The house was beautiful, clean and exactly as pictured. Thomas was nice and helpful and gave us excellent advice.

Great place for relaxing. Lots of nature and tranquility. Perfect with little kids. Almost no cars, play area, trampoline. Anja was so sweet to set up a paddling pool for the little ones. Swimming pool was especially beautiful for our big ones. Thank you. We will be happy to come back.

The Stranzenburg is a super cool and extraordinary location. In addition to the flair from the 15th-18th century, a neighboring property with a swimming pond, charcoal grill, etc. is also available. We were here with a group of friends and were able to spend an exciting weekend; our crime thriller dinner planned for the vacation also found the perfect location as a setting here! Ursula was always very easy to reach as a landlady and is also a great contact person. The cake that was baked and ready for the handover of the AirBnB by Ursula was also super delicious. We can therefore recommend the accommodation to anyone looking for something unusual and wanting to experience a special flair of the accommodation :-)

Beautiful view, a lot of space and facilities to do games, great for families

We will be happy to come back! We were welcomed directly in a friendly way and everything was shown to us on site. Especially for children, a lot is offered on site. Next to the animals there are two games rooms and a small swimming pool. The property was clean, well-maintained, and superbly decorated.

We were in the accommodation with a group and had a very nice weekend. The house is cozy and very nicely located, it is quiet and invites you to relax or walk. The kitchen is very well equipped. The beds were cozy. The rooms upstairs are partially connecting rooms. The garden with lake, sauna and hot tub were our highlight. It's very idyllic. Communication was easy and friendly. We would definitely come back again and highly recommend the place.
