Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Balsam Lake

This was a home away from home with all the amenities we needed & then some. Reisa was a very attentive host. We are hoping to stay again at the end of summer when we visit again. The massage chair was definitely a bonus! Didn’t get a chance to use the kayaks but for sure at our next visit.

If you are looking for a unique glamping experience hosted by some phenomenal people, look no further. My husband and I took a few days to unplug and rest and ol'blue was the perfect fit. The attention to detail and vintage feel of this location along with having unique sites offers a charming respite from the hectic hustle and bustle. They have cultivated peace and always at the ready if anything further is needed. We highly recommend giving his retreat a try!

Great place to relax and catch up with friends off the beaten path. There are multiple large living rooms to gather and play cards or just hang out, and though it was a too late in the season for us to use it there is also a lovely deck off of the kitchen. The Wi Fi was also fast enough for my wife and I to be able to get some work done. Overall a great spot to get away from the hustle and bustle!

We had an excellent stay at the house! Very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed walking across the street to eat at the club. The area is beautiful and we can’t wait to stay here again.

I would highly recommend booking this air bnb. Dale’s space was incredibly inviting with more than enough of what we needed for our stay. The outdoor space is beautiful, and so is the neighborhood. Parking is safe, private, and easy to find. The tv and streaming services were easy to use with guest profiles provided. Some of the niche items like the beautiful piano, guitar, books geared towards mn and games made me feel like I was being hosted by a friend.

Stefanie and Jenny were both responsive and helpful with the questions we had. Cabin was lovely and as advertised in the BnB post. Overall had a great stay and would stay again / highly recommend this spot to friends / family looking for a solid weekend get away. Thank you! Justin Gounili

This home fit all of my siblings, their partners and my mom before the wedding! It was such a gift to have all of us in one spot. The kids ran buck wild all over the house and yard. :) Not to mention we had the dinner rehearsal at this location as well! Thankful that it was as cozy and big as it was! Thank you!

Great location in Hudson. Perfect for our needs to attend a wedding. Communication was wonderful from host.

The space was clean, comfortable, and well-located - perfect for exploring the neighborhood and nearby Macalester College. The private balcony off the bedroom is especially nice.

We have stayed at Debbie’s place multiple times and it is always a great experience. Great location, well designed, clean and great communication. We highly recommend it.

Very sweet spot. Bigger/better in person than in the pics. Although it is all one open space, there is some privacy in the two sleeping areas.

we had an unfortunate event happen but thankfully the neighbors and hosts were quick to help and help us solve our issue. great location, conveniently right between all the stadiums. deep bathtub with lots of hot water! comfortable bed with good pillows! coffee, pop, water and oatmeal provided!

A great place. Cozy but spacious. Super clean. We didn’t arrive until after 10 PM, but Susan was fine with that.

I was on the road for 23 hours before finally arriving at Tina’s. It was my first time to Minnesota and I am very glad that I chose her place for my family and I. It was peaceful, clean, quiet and very homely. We slept so soundly. It felt as though I hadn’t left home in how at peace we were. Tina responded to any queries I had promptly. I was clean, the kitchen is well equipped, and the bathroom is very clean. The only downside for me was that I didn’t book her place for a longer time. I am definitely going back for a longer visit. If you’re still reading this please book already before someone else takes your dates. You won’t regret it one bit! 😀

We found Andy's place to be really nice. The place was not clean when we arrived at 4pm (check-in was at 3pm)however it seemed to a honest mistake with the cleaner forgetting and was remedied that evening. Andy and his brother were responsive immediately to our concerns. Overall, the place is conveniently located, easy to street park, nicely furnished, comfortable and stocked with basics the bathroom/kitchen such as soap, coffee/tea etc. I would recommend it!

Loved staying here with my family while dropping in for a quick visit in the twin cities. The lakes district is absolutely stunning, the architecture of the surrounding neighborhoods is hypnotizing. Staying here you’re located on a block away from Cedar lake and within striking distance of downtown MPLS. If you’re a runner/walker/biked the trail access is incredible. Access to the backyard area is quite nice in the summer as well! Thanks for hosting our lovely weekend! Cheers.

The hosts were warm and welcoming. Beautiful cabin with all the amenities. Spacious hottub and beautiful surroundings. We will definitely be returning.

The house was incredibly comfortable with multiple outdoor options from the front porch to the back porch, garage with pool table and other games, dock, swing, and fire pit. The beds were all comfortable and there were extra sitting areas inside that made it seamless to have the whole family there for the weekend.

Scott was friendly and helpful! Cabin 2 was beautiful and had a great view of the lake! Highly recommend and we will be back again!

Such a peaceful lake-side escape—quiet, tree-filled, and perfect for unwinding. The trail down to the pond is steep but in a fun, adventurous way, and the view at the bottom is worth it. The driveway was a bit rough from recent rain (a few washed-out spots), but nothing you can’t handle with a little caution. It’s nature doing its thing. Overall, a cozy, tranquil spot that’s great for relaxing and reconnecting. Would absolutely come back!

What a cute beautiful little place. Conveniently nestled in some row of pine tree along the river. Great location and hidden gem. Also, a super comfortable bed.

Great responsive host, gave clear instructions on everything and even let us stay later than expected due to an unexpected winter storm.

We are frequent visitors to this relaxing, natural woodland cabin because it has everything we love without having to leave the property. Loons, beaver kits at play, trumpeter swans, wildflowers and lots of trails to wander. The cabin has been updated with a very comfortable sofa and new lighting making for a great place to stretch out with a book. We will undoubtably return.

The cabin is in a beautiful area with a nice, short little path down to the river. We enjoyed sitting on the steps by the river and watching the birds. The cabin is clean and comfortable with a screen porch where we could appreciate the nice views of the surrounding trees. We ran into an issue after checking in, but the host was very attentive and resolved the issue to our satisfaction.
