We felt right at home as soon as we stepped through the door - cosy, traditional.. a wonderful place to sit by the fire and be present with one another - no light pollution so ultimate spot for star gazing!! We explored many beautiful beaches in surrounding areas - beautiful location!! Thanks ever so much !!

Fantastic location and beautiful property. Peaceful location with amazing views all round. Just 1km from local pub that serves amazing local beers, great Guinness, and Neapolitan pizza. What a treat! Would highly recommend. Just wish we had more time to spend there, we'll definitely head back and spend a few more days exploring the area.

Had an excellent 3 night stay at Kate's place as a family of 4 (3yr & 1yr old). House is well equipped with everything you would need, for kids the availability of a high chair/cot/stair gate was a great help also! Special thanks to Brigid for calling into us during a stormy day to make sure we were alright, the log stove was put to good use that night. The location is perfect to explore Fanad, and north Donegal. Very peaceful and private, a great place for star spotting too! Would highly recommend

We stayed with our 15yr old for the long weekend in March and loved the place. We had lots of sightseeing to do each day and every place was just a short drive away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ciaran's place with easy access to all amenities and great restaurants in Downing. Ciaran is an excellent host and was always reachable by text, kept us informed of any local happenings that might impact our plans and went the extra mile to help us out too. He even managed to came down to meet us one afternoon. Thank you so much for everything, Ciaran!
