Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Ballenstedt

Everything went well! Communication with Liane was super friendly and straightforward. The apartment is very nicely furnished – you feel right at home. Clear recommendation!

We spent an extended weekend with our adult children in the house of Rüdiger and Almut. We felt very comfortable in the house. There was room for everyone (8 adults and 2 infants). Particularly noteworthy is the wonderful garden. We stayed there a lot of time. In the area there are many ways to make leisure time for young and old. Rüdiger and Almut are very friendly and accommodating. For us, it was a very nice holiday that we will remember.

Mega beautiful forest hut exactly as described directly in nature and at the same time there is everything you need to have a really good time after a few strenuous hiking days. Surely worth a visit in any season! Thanks for everything 😊

It's a large nice house, very clean and nice fireplace. Vincent provided excellent service for us including Sunday bread delivery and local tips for all the different attractions of the area. It was our first visit to the Harz, and we were surprised by the extent of the beetle damage, many hills laid bare. But Vincent steered us to some beautiful hikes in the valleys, and of course we did the Brocken which is a must for any visit! Go Hexen! Fly!

Nice place and Till was very friendly, helpful, and communicative. Clean and kitchen is stocked with everything 1-2 people need in terms of cookware, cutlery, etc. Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing location within short driving distance of many good hiking paths in the Harz. Lovely place with a great garden. The apartment is very cozy, with comfortable beds, a fireplace and cozy sofa. Very quiet location and perfect for excursions in the Harz.

We were allowed to be a guest at Karolin's, her family's and the alpacas' for the second time and the four of us felt completely comfortable again. The proximity to the alpacas is special. Also with how much love and passion Karolin and her family run the farm. Our eldest liked helping in the barn and with the animals the most. The area also has a lot of excursion opportunities to offer and some are quick and easy to reach. We can recommend a stay without reservation. Thank you for the wonderful time!

I was allowed to spend a few wonderfully relaxing days in the apartment and felt very comfortable from the first moment. I will definitely be back!

The apartment is located in a historic house in the center of town, only 20-30 minutes by car from the hiking areas in the Harz Mountains. Upon arrival, Henry was already waiting for us and welcomed us personally. The apartment meets all requirements and descriptions and is equipped with everything you might need down to the last detail - the hosts have also thought of everyday small things. The two bedrooms are adjacent to each other, the rear one can only be reached by going through the first one. The bathroom is modern and very clean. We felt completely comfortable and thank you for the hospitality!

We (two adults and two kids) were really happy with the place. We found the place right away. They were received in a super friendly way and everything was explained to us. We were also given tips on where to shop and what to do in the area. We were really just excited, the apartment is equipped with everything you need and we quickly felt at home. For us, the fireplace was a highlight (you have to make wood yourself. You get good wood in the shop on site). Were lucky that there was snow, we built a snowman in the garden with the children and hosted a snowball battle. We were just completely satisfied and 100% recommend the place.

We have already stayed with Jan for the second time. And everything is always perfect. We would always book an apartment. Thanks for the wonderful time.

Great apartment in the old town. Restaurants within walking distance. Beautiful old house and very modern, nice and clean interior. Quiet neighborhood and the place felt private. Fresh bed linens and towels. And our kids appreciated the toys and games. We really enjoy our stay! Highly recommend it.

We were in Peter's delicious panorama logged an extended weekend from Wednesday-Sunday. We were 2 families going. The home exceeded our expectations. It was so delicious, with the nicest view and close to everything. Everything worked perfectly and Peter was very helpful and easy to meet. Will definitely visit this place again. Regards, Anja

The apartment is very large and cozy. The paths for hiking, shopping or to the bakery are ideally short. The car can be parked in a parking garage at no extra cost. The hosts respond very quickly and are accommodating.

The place was not super modern, but really clean. the large room was great for eating or playing together as a large group. From the house there are a few smaller hiking routes. Everything else is quickly accessible by car. (playgrounds, swimming pool, hiking routes...) All in all, we were very satisfied.

Gunnar's place has 7 very nice rooms, the top room has 2 double beds. The kitchen is very large and has all the kitchen utensils. The kitchen is integrated with the living area. All in all, this was a very nice holiday. We'd come back any time.

Very nice place, enough space for everyone and nice big rooms. The place had a well-equipped kitchen. Contact was simple and accessible. We were happy to be able to use the place for a few days. :)

We felt comfortable Uncomplicated, friendly, clean and very cozy. A beautiful Fleclchen Erde... our dog also felt super comfortable.

Everything was great. The place is very nice and we spent a few nice days in Thale.

We spent an extended weekend in the Harz (Schierke). In fantastic weather, we were able to hike to the Brocken, starting from our accommodation. The resort leaves nothing to be desired and we were able to enjoy a wonderful break. We will be happy to come back!
