There is a rich diversity of species in forests and wildlife. The cabin has both a terrace with dining table and hammock and its own small garden. The small farm is located at 266 m.a.s.l. About 20 minutes drive from Flåm city center. We live in the house next door, so if there should be anything, just get in touch. The downhill to the small farm is steep, but we also have parking up by the road if needed.

Take a break and relax in this peaceful oasis. In this cozy cottage you live in beautiful natural surroundings. River and mountain views from the window and on the terrace. Nice trips nearby, including Vallestadfossen which is 500 meters away. Mountain trips are also nearby. Below the cabin it is possible to fish trout (small) in the river. This is free. The nearest town is Førde which is 30 minutes away. Haukedalsvatnet is about 500 m from the cabin, where you can buy a fishing license. Here is a nice place to find peace.

Welcome to us on our rural smallholding half an hour from the center of Sogndal. We offer a spacious apartment with living room and open kitchen solution, bathroom, 2 bedrooms, winter garden just outside the apartment, and with associated terrace where you can sit and enjoy life in peace and quiet, overlooking the fjord. Here you have many hiking opportunities if you like to walk in the mountains. Klovane, Kjenuken/Høgenibba and Kattanakken are among the many popular top hikes in the area. 15 min drive to Briksdal glacier one way and 15 min drive to Loen and Hoven the other way. 30 min to Stryn. Place is well equipped with ready-made beds, towels and cleaning included!

Flåm Retreat - Exclusive and sustainable mini-house

Flåm Retreat's minihouse is a sustainable and exclusive cabin designed by Snøhetta, with a focus on reducing human impact on nature. Enjoy panoramic views of Flåmsdalen, tranquility, and some of the world’s most stunning scenery. The mini-house has two double beds and sleeps four comfortably. A fifth guest can use the sofa bed for NOK 250. From May to September, we require a 2-night minimum stay. Single-night gaps will be released as they become available.

The residence is located approximately 2 km from Balestrand city center. There are opportunities to rent a car in Balestrand if needed and taxi. One of these options is recommended if you come by boat/ferry and have a lot of luggage.
