A quiet and idyllic accommodation with a fantastic view of the fjord, communication with Roy Inge and last but not least the relaxing stay in the great hot tub are hard to beat. We received an immediate response to all questions regarding the accommodation. It would have been nice if there had been an extra toilet in addition to the bathroom, because with six people, there was a little congestion in the morning hours. The additionally rented boats were also very good, unfortunately the weather was not so good during our stay, which is why the fish bit rather badly when fishing. We can definitely recommend the accommodation and we would love to come back.

Exceptional place! Alone at the end of the world above the fjord... one of the best views of our stay. A cute cabin built by our host. Very well equipped and very beautifully decorated. Special mention to the toilet in a small independent cabin with stunning views of the fjord:) The hosts are welcoming, kind and available! Best place to stay on our trip!

We loved our time at the cabin had a lovely relaxing time and the hottub was a highlight! We had no problems and the house was very well equipped especially for anyone staying longer. We loved the waffle machine too.

We had a lovely stay! Absolutely stunning location right on the fjord with beautiful views both inside and outside the cabin. The area was nice and quiet with lots of sheep and apple orchards around, but also convenient to other attractions and shopping. Highly recommend staying here!

Although we only spent one night at the accommodation, we took a lovely walk to explore the beautiful surroundings. Sunniva welcomed us with a warm and cozy home — the fireplace was already crackling when we arrived, filled with freshly added firewood. She even showed us a newborn lamb, which was such a special experience. The place has a very charming and inviting atmosphere.

A wonderful place to stay. The photos do not do the location justice - it really is a stunning spot on Sognefjord. It is an ideal place if you want serenity, seclusion and peace, and has plenty of space to hang out and enjoy the view. Our friendly host Svein told us that the cabins are around 20 years old, but they feel like they were built yesterday - they are very well maintained and well put together. The underfloor heating was an unexpected bonus for our mid November stay (me, my wife and 9 month old daughter). Recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Grethe’s place and were sad we had to leave! It’s the ideal place to go if you like peace and quiet.

This property was by FAR the most amazing Airbnb I have ever stayed at! The views were breath taking. The house had every single thing you need and more. The host went out of his way to make sure we had the best experience possible. If you are seeing this post you MUST take this opportunity to stay here. We rented the boat for a very reasonable price and it enhanced our experience ten fold. Host is flexible and extremely responsive at all times of the day. Loved every second we had here and if I ever come back to Norway I will definitely be staying here again.

Amazing stay at Heidi’s place in Lodalen. We absolutely loved the location: the view is breathtaking, and it’s just a short drive away to the Kjenndal Glacier, Loen Skylift and other local attractions. You can also do a short walk to reach the lake. The house is perfect for a family (there were four of us total, 2 adults and 2 kids). There is plenty of room to hang out in the living area, and the kitchen is well equipped - the only thing that was missing was a freezer. Overall, it was a lovely stay, and I would certainly recommend this place to anyone wanting to spend time in the Loen valley.

Mountains on three sides and a fjord on the other. If you're looking for solitude at the end of the world, this is it. A piece of advice, it's a single lane road in with blind corners and hills, so be ready to stop on a dime for on coming traffic. Also, the local market will have essentially anything you'd need, but they have eccentric hours so I'd recommend bringing along a day's worth of food to be safe.

Roy’s cabin is an endearing home that he has created with a lot of heart. It was a heart-warming experience!

Warm and cozy house, recommend

Everything was perfect 👌

We stayed at this place with our family with 3 children for 4 nights. We were immediately impressed by the fantastic view and the very cozy house. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are fine, the living room is very cozy. The first day we took a nice walk to the opposite mountain and met a flock of sheep there. The days after it rained a lot, but we had plenty of books and board games with us. Even in rainy weather, the view never gets bored. The instructions to get to the house are very clear, as well as to switch on gas and electricity. No downsides! Highly recommended!

Cozy cabin. Felt right at home. Perfect for a quiet getaway. Plus 15 min by car from a great hike called Lihesten.

We had such a lovely stay in the beautiful, cosy cabin. Really sweet little place. Even though the weather was a bit damp, we still had a lovely time and enjoyed eating our food by a fire up in the outdoor shelter overlooking the fjord… Thank you Aida and Frederick for the chocolate and card and sharing this little slice of paradise with us! Hopefully we’ll come back again one day!
