A truly memorable stay. The landscape was breathtaking — wildflowers, birdsong, horses, and morning mist over the valley created a dreamlike atmosphere. The spa facilities and infinity pool, set against stunning views, were especially restorative. The cabin is compact but surrounded by natural beauty. We loved waking to the sounds of birds and nearby waterfall — simply idyllic. There was occasional noise from grounds maintenance, but it didn’t detract too much from the overall impression. The host was communicative and flexible with our arrival time. Thoughtful touches like the welcome wine and chocolate cake made us feel right at home. Everything was smooth and easy, and we found some fantastic local restaurants. The surrounding area is full of charm, with quiet walks, friendly people, and views we’ll never forget. We spent our days exploring and simply soaking it all in. This place made us fall in love with Portugal — we’re already looking forward to returning. Thank you!

This is a stunning place secluded away from anything nearby. Great for a retreat to be restful, listen to nature and admire the beautiful horses. Cheila was an incredible host, super responsive to any questions or comments and gave us some beautiful lemons from her tree. The house is really well throughout and all amenities are included. Excellent choice to escape the city routine! Accessible location, with parking and useful infrastructures about 20 minutes by car. Very beautiful and welcoming historic village, calm, surrounded by nature and peace. The house exceeded expectations, being better than in the photographs, besides that it was impeccable: clean, tidy and equipped with everything you need. The huge courtyard, the amazing jacuzzi, the bicycles, the hammock, the skylights, the air conditioning, the fire, the fireplace and the salamander were some of the cherries on the cake, but everything amazed us and made us feel right at home! Reception of companion animals also pleased us a lot. The hosts were impeccable: friendly, available, responsive, accessible and always ready to help or give suggestions on what to enjoy in the surroundings. Dona Paula is a very humble and caring person, who knows the history of the village and sharing it with a glow in her eyes. We hope to return one day!

It's an amazing place😍 to fully enjoy nature, sleep with the sound of the river in the background and wake up with the beautiful view of the trees. It's spectacular, the cabins are beautiful, we enjoyed the jacuzzi and the pool, Manuela is a wonderful host, attentive, very kind and close, we felt right at home. I'll definitely repeat the experience.

Ideal place to relax and contemplate nature.

Perfectly equipped and tastefully decorated house in the heart of the Rías Baixas. Residential and quiet area. The photographs do not do justice to the views from the balcony, which are wonderful. Rosario is an excellent host, attentive and friendly, she gave us a multitude of directions and recommendations so that we lacked nothing.

The space visited is truly welcoming, offering what is strictly necessary for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The simplicity of the place and the houses does not compromise the quality of the experience, providing an environment where you feel at home. One of the most notable points is the complete isolation of the site. This feature guarantees an atmosphere of tranquility, ideal for those looking for a refuge away from the noise and hustle and bustle of urban life. Peace and silence are predominant, excellent for walking tours, reading, photographs, etc. In addition, we had the opportunity to interact with the very friendly and kind locals allowing us to participate with the children in their tasks with the animals. In short, this space is an excellent choice for those looking for a simple but welcoming environment. We were two families and we used both houses, an ideal situation because the common spaces are to share. Thanks ! Silvia.

The house already looked beautiful in photos but being there it was even more spectacular, dreamy, the hosts were super attentive and we felt very cared for.

Very nice little house in the center of the old town, it has all the amenities inside and the rural atmosphere outside! Sit on the wooden balcony and enjoy a coffee or just relax in the two bedrooms and enjoy the birds singing. We visited the Ourense and Prexigueiro hot springs, fantastic! The accommodation is minutes away from a Carrefour for basic shopping. 100% recommended Thank you

We really enjoyed our stay at Tue’s house. It is a great size with good bedrooms and plenty of living space. Ideal for our family of 7. The house is well equipped with plenty to do - swimming pool, bikes, pool table, large garden etc. The local area is very quiet with a good beach and some nice local walks. The weather wasn’t great while we were there, which was unfortunate and meant we couldn’t make full use of the pool etc. but it was great on the sunny days. It could perhaps be improved with some soft covers for the sun beds and maybe another sun umbrella. All in all though we had a great stay.

Relatively easy access (mountain roads), located in a small village 5 minutes' drive from a supermarket and cafes/pizzeria, stone house completely remodeled inside, equipped kitchen, well-decorated living room, a large balcony with a spectacular view and a very cool pool with ice-cold water.

I had a fantastic stay. The place was spotless, well-equipped, and exactly as described in the listing. Location was with beautiful views. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, making sure everything went smoothly during our stay. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Portugal and would love to come back again in the future!

On the positive side, the place lived up to its description. Fatima was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience better. There were enough parking spaces for three cars. On the negative side, the hot water reservoir wasn't sufficient for ten people to take showers. As a result, some of us had to take cold showers every day. Additionally, the location is situated on narrow roads, making it challenging to reach by car.

A Hidden Gem in Nature! We had an unforgettable stay at this stunning farmhouse! The setting is absolutely serene—surrounded by lush greenery and fresh air. The highlight for us was definitely the natural water tank. It felt like our own private spring-fed pool—so refreshing and peaceful, especially in the mornings. The farmhouse itself is beautifully maintained, combining rustic charm with modern comforts. The interiors were cozy and spotless, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals. Waking up to the sound of birds and sipping coffee on the porch while looking out over the landscape was pure magic. Our host was warm, welcoming, and very responsive, offering great local tips and ensuring we had everything we needed. If you’re looking to disconnect from the hustle and reconnect with nature, this place is a dream. We can’t wait to return!

We had a great stay, we will definitely go back. The house is extremely comfortable, beautiful and versatile, it gives both a warm and cold height. The location is perfect, both for those who want to know Gerês, and for those who just want to rest and enjoy the amenities of the house. The house is great and Gloria is a wonderful host. Everything was clean, there was everything and they took care to turn on the heating before arrival so that we would not be cold. Totally recommended!!
