Everything was perfect!

Fantastic stay in Pedro's home from home, Pedro was very friendly and helpful, and the property was just what we wanted for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, and a great location for us to explore the wonderful north of Portugal. Stayed for about 10 days, and enjoyed every minute. Thank you very much to Pedro and his family.

We had a wonderful stay! The place is extremely peaceful and ideal for resting. Everything was pristinely clean and very well organized. The house has a cozy atmosphere and conveys a sense of calm from the first moment. The hosts were very friendly, attentive and always available to help with whatever was needed. I highly recommend and we will definitely return at the next opportunity!

Very satisfied with the space, with the necessary amenities, the enclosed garage is an asset. The place is far enough from the center to be extremely quiet but you can quickly get there by car. A pleasant surprise!!!

The space visited is truly welcoming, offering what is strictly necessary for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The simplicity of the place and the houses does not compromise the quality of the experience, providing an environment where you feel at home. One of the most notable points is the complete isolation of the site. This feature guarantees an atmosphere of tranquility, ideal for those looking for a refuge away from the noise and hustle and bustle of urban life. Peace and silence are predominant, excellent for walking tours, reading, photographs, etc. In addition, we had the opportunity to interact with the very friendly and kind locals allowing us to participate with the children in their tasks with the animals. In short, this space is an excellent choice for those looking for a simple but welcoming environment. Few words reflect how good our stay at Iris D'Arga was. João and Astrid are kind hosts who make you feel at home from an early age. The house is beautiful and well furnished and equipped, inspiring even. Pool is great for spending great summer afternoons. And Serra D'Arga, this one, is magnificent. For those who like trails, bicycles, waterfalls, fauna, etc., I recommend 200%. If you don't like any of this, the recommendation is the same because what's missing is things to do around Covas. In short, super recommended and we still came with a great memory of wood from such a wise workshop done with João.

Ideal place to relax and contemplate nature.

Our family stay at Casa Da Touça was wonderful! The home was perfect, it had everything we needed for our week stay. The beds were so comfortable. The house itself was very comfortable and spacious. The pool was spotless and well maintained. Our kids swam daily for hours and had so much fun. We also spent every night on the patio watching the sun set across the mountains. Maria is so kind and welcoming, we were greeted with such hospitality and a delicious spread of pastries and breads. We felt like family. She is so passionate about her guests comforts. Maria is very responsive to any questions. She provided a number of guidebooks and pamphlets of places and restaurants to visit close by. Casa Da Touça is a gem and we highly recommend it!!

We had a gorgeous stay at Matriz’s villa and the view from the pool area was absolutely breathtaking - better than the photos. Matriz was a lovely host who did everything he could to ensure we enjoyed the stay. Highly recommend.

Everything is perfect! I definitely recommend it! Rosa, the host, was very friendly and helpful. He prepared a delicious sangria and provided us with a lot of privacy. Our dog Yako had a great time playing with your dog, Beny!! The space is quiet, spacious, with beautiful views and a large village to walk through. The house is very well equipped! great location and a beautiful house, even more beautiful than in the photos. everything was very clean and they were very friendly. Upon arrival, a delicious snack was ready, super sweet. Our 4-year-old daughter couldn't be dragged away from the pool, she loves it. And what a view, that's waking up. We will definitely come back if we are in the area again. Thank you

We spent a wonderful and relaxing week in the vacation home. The location and views are indescribably beautiful! Having breakfast in the morning overlooking the mountains on the terrace is priceless. The apartment is furnished to a high standard, the mattress comfortable, the shower a dream. The hot tub relaxed after the hike and we were even allowed to use the large pool alone - swimming with a view of the mountains. Antonio was very attentive and was always available. The only downside: the already mentioned moisture problem. A dehumidifier is running and it doesn't smell musty. We felt very comfortable anyway and hope to come back.

Amélia and Joa were really great hosts!! We arrived much later than expected and they were very accommodating. We got greeted with freshly picked strawberries and a warm welcoming smile. We will definitely go back!!

We had a great three-day stay. The place was private, with a spacious bedroom, balcony, and two bathrooms. It was perfect for our dog — we could walk him off-leash in the village. We all enjoyed drinking the cool, fresh water from the mountain fountain! The lake access was a nice bonus. The host was very welcoming and gave great local recommendations. A relaxing and comfortable stay overall! :)

A Hidden Gem in Nature! We had an unforgettable stay at this stunning farmhouse! The setting is absolutely serene—surrounded by lush greenery and fresh air. The highlight for us was definitely the natural water tank. It felt like our own private spring-fed pool—so refreshing and peaceful, especially in the mornings. The farmhouse itself is beautifully maintained, combining rustic charm with modern comforts. The interiors were cozy and spotless, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals. Waking up to the sound of birds and sipping coffee on the porch while looking out over the landscape was pure magic. Our host was warm, welcoming, and very responsive, offering great local tips and ensuring we had everything we needed. If you’re looking to disconnect from the hustle and reconnect with nature, this place is a dream. We can’t wait to return!

It was us and our two dogs. It's a small but very cozy cabin with good views. If you are going with a dog be aware that there are cats in the area and that it is not fenced, if they are adventurous as mine can end up on the road. Very clean, groomed and rustic. It has a small barbecue and outdoor dining area that we used a lot. Zé and Paula are lovely. I will repeat but no dogs.

If you're looking for rest and some time out of the rush of the city, come here. The house is situated in the countryside near a river with a nice view of the valley. It is super quiet with lots of space and the house is fully equipped for cooking every night and even making fresh orange juice in the morning. Christine is super lovely and even helped with the coal bbq when we wanted to cook out in the sunny afternoon. This was our favourite airbnb in Portugal.
