We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is a private, enclosed complex in beautiful surroundings. We had a wonderful view of the Tuscan countryside from the terrace. The apartment was very nicely and functionally furnished, very clean and very well equipped with everything one might need for a stay. The accommodation has access to a large swimming pool. There are many interesting places for short trips in the surrounding area. We had a very relaxing stay and will definitely want to return soon.

This 500 year old house is ideally situated in Tuscany and the Chianti region. It is a perfect place for day trips to other towns, for wine, tasting excursions, and for visiting Florence. The idyllic setting gives you a sense of country life in Italy, and the views from the patio and house are stunning. There are spectacular wineries within 5 to 10 minutes of the house. We found the house very comfortable and enjoyed our stay very very much. Rose and Pier couldn’t have been more helpful in planning our stay and excursions. We found through them fabulous restaurants, and wineries that we would not have discovered on our own. They were also incredibly responsive when we had questions. Our only confusion about the house was that the listing showed three bathrooms, but one was in the laundry room in a separate building . Just something to know. Thank you to Rose for a lovely vacation ! It was the perfect place to explore Tuscany from!

Everything was absolutely perfect! ⭐️ Location: Ideal base for exploring Tuscany — you’re right in the heart of it all. Whether you’re heading to Florence, Pisa, or the charming hill towns, everything is within easy reach. House: Well-equipped and comfortable, with all the listed amenities in perfect working order. After long days of sightseeing, the pool was a refreshing retreat. The panoramic view over the valley is truly breathtaking. Host: Lorenzo is an outstanding host — friendly, responsive, and fluent in English. He was proactive and helpful throughout our stay. The house includes a detailed guidebook he created with handpicked recommendations for local shops, markets, restaurants, farms, and sights. It made planning our days effortless. Bottom line: If this listing is available — don’t hesitate. Book it. 10/10 would recommend!

Perfect location - could not select a more beautiful setting. Il Paluffo manages to feel luxurious and green as well as rustic with modern comforts all at the same time. The location is stunning - pictures do not do it justice. Il Paluffo is tastefully decorated, intimate with lots of amenities, and unique offerings. There was a cooking class offered while we were there! This is a truly unique and magical place, the perfect Tuscany experience.

Magnifique propriété au cœur de la Toscane à proximité des principales villes à visiter (Florence, Pise, San Gimignano et Sienne). L’appartement était très propre, parfaitement équipé et chauffé. La cheminée est un vrai plus. Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel, avec un sentiment d’être comme à la maison. L’accueil de Giuliana et Isabella a été très chaleureux. Nous reviendrons!

Bianca is one of the best hosts I ever encountered. She is very friendly, welcoming and social. She is very passionate about her house and guests. She treated us like friends and I think we already became friends for life. Her house is very special, magical, clean and beautiful. Its very spacious felt right at home and had everything we needed. Its private and peaceful yet walking distance from Grassina town down the hill, around 10 minutes walk. The town has everything you need from restaurants to bars, Farmacia, little boutique shops and beauty salons. The location is perfect and outside the city but only 20-30 minutes from Florence. I am defiantly coming back to this place.

Wij waren er van 31 mei t/m 13 juni 2025. Een geweldig verblijf in een mooi authentiek huis, met een zwembad in de royale tuin. Auto stond binnen de afsluitbare poort. Dat is fijn. Stefania is een vriendelijke en hartelijke host. Zij reageert heel snel als je een berichtje stuurt. Daarvoor onze dank. Er is niks te klagen voor ons, echt een aanrader! Maddie en Peter

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful and spacious Tuscan villa. The house was full of charm, very clean, with wonderful views, a great pool, and a peaceful location that allowed us to fully relax and enjoy the Tuscan atmosphere. The outdoor sitting area was perfect for evenings, and the bedrooms stayed pleasantly cool even during warm days. The kitchen was well-equipped for family meals. The host was extremely responsive, kind, and shared great local recommendations. Despite our very late arrival due to heavy traffic, he welcomed us after midnight, showed us around, and explained everything, including where to find kitchen items. His flexibility and friendliness made us feel at home. Just as a small note, parking is on the street (which is typical for the area), and some kitchen items are stored in different places, but this didn’t affect our wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

Wir haben eine tolle Woche bei Giovanna und Antonio verbracht. Sie sind beide sehr nett, hilfsbereit und bei Fragen immer erreichbar. Das Haus ist genau so wie auf den Bildern, sehr gemütlich und wir haben uns gleich wohlgefühlt. Der gemeinsame Garten ist wunderschön und der Pool ist toll, um sich an einem heißen Tag abzukühlen. Nach Lucca braucht man ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto und auch Pisa und Florenz sind gut zu erreichen. Wir können die Unterkunft zu 100% weiterempfehlen. Danke für die tolle Zeit :-)

Emma's place is a beautiful little gem hidden in the mountains of Tuscany. We spent two weeks with our children in Cardoso and had a wonderful time. The wildlife in spring is incredible — we saw a wild fox, a wolf, snakes, and many lizards, which was both beautiful and surprising. The locals were friendly, and since there are no cars, there’s plenty of walking, which adds to the charm. The house itself is lovingly furnished, with a well-equipped kitchen and plenty of cooking utensils. We loved the instruments and games in the living room, along with a large collection of books and CDs. Mony provided us with numerous links upon arrival for nearby sites. Our only downside was that everything requires a bit of driving. We enjoyed the medieval charm of Lucca, the Art Deco beach promenade in Viareggio, and visited Podere Còncori, a biodynamic vineyard that we loved. There’s also a superstore market about 20 minutes away.

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Zeit in diesem charmanten Steinhaus in der Toskana verbracht. Das Haus liegt idyllisch und sehr ruhig, genau richtig, um dem Alltag zu entfliehen und die Natur zu genießen. Besonders begeistert hat uns der große, gepflegte Garten, mit einigen Holzstößen – unsere beiden Katzen haben ihn vom ersten Moment an geliebt. Sie konnten sich frei bewegen, ohne dass wir uns Sorgen machen mussten, und hatten viele spannende Ecken zu erkunden. Das Haus selbst ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet – alles, was man braucht, ist vorhanden. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, das Bett bequem und die Räume angenehm kühl, auch bei sommerlichen Temperaturen. Es ist kein Luxusobjekt, aber genau das haben wir gesucht: ein gemütlicher Rückzugsort mit Charme und Charakter. Ein ganz großes Plus war die Vermieterin: Sie war jederzeit schnell erreichbar, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein. Bei Fragen oder kleinen Anliegen bekamen sofort Hilfe. Kommen gerne wieder :)

Staying here was a dream come true! The view is breathtaking and the home is beautifully decorated in a cozy eclectic style while maintaining the rustic beauty of the structure itself and honoring it’s history. I will never forget this experience—ideal to visit with friends! It is located up a steep hillside and well worth the adventure to get there. Varinia literally thought of and provided every detail a guest would need. I would love to return one day!

Door de snelle, proactieve en duidelijk communicatie met Lisa waren onze verwachtingen hoog gespannen met betrekking tot het huis. Bij aankomst werden deze verwachtingen makkelijk overtroffen. Een prachtig authentiek huis, maar wel met de voorzieningen van de huidige tijd. Gelegen in een dorp waar het merendeel van de dag rustig en stil was. Iedere dag liepen we een stukje de berg op om bij het lokale restaurant een kopje koffie te drinken, maar we ook regelmatig zijn gaan eten. De toeristische highlights van Toscane waren goed bereikbaar, de directe omgeving leent zich uitstekend voor mooie wandelingen. Kortom als je van rust, mooie vergezichten ( vanaf het eigen terras) en ook de toeristische locaties wilt genieten, dan kunnen wij dit huis zeer aanbevelen.

Es war traumhaft schön und mit Worten kaum zu beschreiben. Die Unterkunft von Massimo und Roberta ist mit so viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, sodass man sich einfach nur wohlfühlen kann. Die beiden sind so herzlich und fürsorglich, sodass wir uns direkt willkommen gefühlt haben. Alles war einfach perfekt - angefangen bei der Lage hoch oben in der Natur über die Terrasse mit herrlichem Ausblick bis hin zur Ausstattung der Wohnung. Den krönenden Abschluss bildeten Robertas leckere Köstlichkeiten. Jeden Morgen warteten Brot, Brötchen und süßes Gebäck auf uns. Es war ein Traum!

Très bien reçus par Monica, très gentille et discrète. Nous avons trouvé le calme dont nous avions besoin. La montagne vaut le détour et la piscine était la bienvenue après une journée bien remplie. Tout y était dans l'appartement et le lit était impeccable. Nous recommandons Monica.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay with Bryan and Sara! Reaching the accommodation requires a short hike, but you’re rewarded with stunning views – and the luggage is conveniently brought up by a small tractor. From the very beginning, everything was perfect. The house, garden, and pool are absolutely beautiful – a true little paradise. Everything was clean and lovingly maintained. Bryan and Sara are incredibly warm and welcoming hosts who do everything they can to make your stay special. Since we arrived late, Sara kindly offered to prepare a lovely dinner for us, and Bryan gave us a little pizza-making class – such a great experience! Their helpfulness and kindness, combined with the magical charm of the accommodation, made our stay truly unique and unforgettable. Thanks a lot :)

We were a group of five women and absolutely delighted. The view overlooking the hills and the city is just as spectacular in the morning as in the evening. The set-up including our house, the pool next to rosemary bushes, the olive trees, the outdoor couches for relaxing and the restaurant/bar zone with fairy lights was created with lots of love and attention to detail. Sabrina and her family were great hosts, friendly, always available and super helpful. The pasta carbonara was our favourite ;) thank you for a wonderful time in which we were all able to let go of the work stress we brought with us from home! For future visitors - as soon as you get to the windy roads, do not blindly follow google maps. It will not guide you in the correct way and you will end up in a very narrow dead end. Follow the signs.

Wir haben uns bei Isabell sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist sehr hell und sauber. Isabell hat sich mit der Einrichtung sehr viel Mühe geben und überall kleine Aufmerksamkeit platziert. Es gibt sehr gute Empfehlungen für Restaurants/Bars (Sugahero, Gli Orti können wir beides sehr empfehlen) und auch die Katzen auf dem Gelände werden vorgestellt. Das Pool Areal ist sehr clean und bietet viel Schatten, der Garten ist wunderschön durchdacht und ein ruhiger Rückzugsort. Wir würden Isabells Unterkunft auch Freunden empfehlen. Vielen Dank

Beautiful place. Clotilde is friendly and helpful. Tranquil large garden and fantastic pool. Great for kids, our one year old loved running around in the grass. Excellent kitchen for cooking at home. Location is very convenient to Lucca and some charming small towns. The Esselunga in Pescia (10 min drive) is one of the best supermarkets I’ve ever seen.

Spontan gebucht. Und problemlos kurzfristig alles nötige regeln können. Federico ist unaufgeregt kommunikativ und kann den Aufenthalt mit guten Empfehlungen verfeinern. Die Lage ist besonders. Der Ort hat wine gute Wirkung auf Körper und Gemüt. WeiläuAbgelegen aber nicht weit zum einkaufen oder zu Restaurants. Ein schöner Pool. Geschmackvolle Räumlichkeiten. WlanJunckies könnten manchmal mit dem netz etwas hadern aber das Gesamtbild wird dadurch nicht geschmälert. Alles was sonst nötig ist,ist vor Ort oder wird von Federico prompt besorgt. Ein wunderbarer Ausgangspunkt für Besuche in Florenz oder im Chianti. Jede Menge auch rustikale trattorias,Winzer und Oliven Bauern in der Nähe.

Wir haben drei Nächte bei Giovanni gebucht und uns ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt. Seine Mutter und Bruder wohnen im Hause nebenan, trotzdem waren wir ganz für uns. Ich würde die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen und weiterempfehlen! Einzig die Straße, die zur Unterkunft führt war etwas abenteuerlich; sie ist sehr schmal und kurvig, was eine kleine Herausforderung dargestellt hat, mit unserem Van. Wir haben es einfach Italienisch gehalten und immer gehupt, wenn eine Kurve nicht gut einzusehen war 👌

Everything was as expected and better. Lovely home with air conditioning downstairs and in both upstairs bedrooms. Beautiful garden in the back and shared swimming pool very close by.
