Lake house vacation rentals in Avon Lake

The place was absolutely beautiful and the views of the lake provided the perfect backdrop for peace and serenity. Mark was very responsive and it was a lovely experience. The kind of stay you wished could have lasted longer!

We travel often as a homeschooling family. My 9 year old picked Cleveland and Brian’s Airbnb as her birthday trip. Unfortunately, the night before our check in, there were some issues at Brian’s Airbnb with plumbing — but fortunately, he is an incredible host and person and let us know he was moving us to another beautiful location. “Above and beyond” is an understatement. He even sent my daughter donuts for her birthday. Brian was kind, responsive, honest and helpful. We all fell in love with Cleveland and will recommend Brian’s properties to everyone we know. Highly recommend this host!

From the start, Holly was quick and responsive. This little house was perfect for the two of us and our hound. Neighborhood was adorable- perfect to walk the dog. Out the door, down the driveway, to the right- and a little walk later we were at the lakeside! Charming houses the whole route. I was worried about no TV, but we didn't miss it at all! We walked across the street for breakfast at Gus's. Nothing amazing here but it was nice to be able to walk there. We were in town for a game at Cleveland Browns field and the drive into downtown was easy (be aware they close exits). Place was clean and had everything you need. It was thoughtful that she supplied coffee, a few snacks, and treats for the dog. Even had make- up wipes and shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the shower. Towels were so soft! Communication was great! Check in instructions were clear , making sure we didn't need anything, & check out instructions were easy. Pics were spot on and descriptions of place were exact.

This is a beautiful home in a very lovely little town. Very quiet and peaceful and a very easy walk to the lake. The host is extremely accommodating, helpful, and very kind. We would highly recommend this rental and host.

Fabulous house. Spectacular views. The photos don’t do it justice. We were a family of nine spanning 3 generations and we all loved it. We cooked every day in the huge kitchen, spent hours on the porch watching rough waves crash against the wall, and the kids scootered on the paved backyard while we sat around the fire pit. Just what we hoped for. Thanks.

Stayed here over the thanksgiving holiday. The home is as described and lives up to its dozens of excellent reviews. Spotlessly clean, great linens, comfortable beds, etc etc. Communication was excellent and knowing we were in town for the holiday they even added a leaf to the table for us in advance. We had a great stay and would definitely come again.

Clean and spacious. I’d love to stay in the summer at some point.

Our stay at this home was perfect! The space was great, location amazing, and we truly loved our time there. Would stay again any time we are in the Cleveland area.

This is the second time I have stayed in Robert's house. He is a fabulous host. He has thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. A gorgeous house with a wonderful yard. Thank you, Robert!!!!

The king bed was very comfortable, including the pillows. Kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed walking the dogs around the lake and the fenced area.

We had a great stay at the house to visit our daughter for Easter. The property was perfect for hosting our daughter and her friends from college; plenty of outdoor space for a cookout, a warm and cozy interior to help the college kids feel "at home", and comfortable accommodations for us all who stayed at the house. The yard is large with a fenced-in area for our dog, who LOVED it! Please keep in mind if there is rain, the yard can be a bit soggy, but that is to be expected and didn't deter us at all. The grill and other kitchen/cooking amenities were great, and Marcia left a TON of snacks and breakfast food for the house. The whole vibe of the place is authentically "farmhouse", which we loved. We did not use any televisions. etc, but we did see a few, so "modern conveniences" are there. We will surely consider renting again for future trips and highly recommend this rental.

Not only was this the ideal location for my Dad's return to health, it was perfect for me to enjoy some peace and explore some nature. The house itself was pristine and cozy while not being too small. Plenty if seating in the house, and plenty to do outside. It was so nice, it made it hard to leave! I would love to come back and use the firepit and all the lovely outdoor amenities. All in all, great spot especially gor the price. Also, Amy was prompt whenever i reached out. Everything was taken care of. 5 out of 5 would recommend!

It was wonderful! We choose to stay here for a weekend getaway for our one year olds birthday. Loved how peaceful and safe the area made us feel. Felt like home from the time we arrived. House had all the amenities and more. Truly a beautiful home away from home .

We had a great experience! The whole process went very smooth and Joel was very helpful with his instructions. The house was also very clean and matched the pictures posted. We had no issues and would definitely book again!

This little cabin is FABULOUS! I love staying in places that feel like home and this definitely fit the bill. The kitchen had every dish and pan you could want. Full size frig, some dry goods in the cabinets, lots of extra blankets. We loved the quirkiness and character!

The house was exactly the size and type we wanted! We had an extended family Thanksgiving, and there was plenty of room and the kitchen handled it. That includes our elderly dog, who also settled in pretty well. Our family of four spent two nights, with three more coming to dinner one night. For small questions and minor issues, Jennifer was very responsive. Instructions were also clever, ahead of time.

Great place and host! Would definitely stay here again.

Ruthie’s place was comfortable and cozy. She left special touches of hospitality and had simple decorations for the season. We had a very enjoyable stay!

The place was perfect for our girls/cousins weekend. It was cute, clean, and had everything we needed. The weather was not cooperative for patio/outside time, but the inside offered plenty of space to hang out and also to sleep.

One problem! Check in at 4, but check out at 11. Not a full two days. A lost of 5 hours. Check in should have been at 11.

Our stay was perfect! We enjoyed the old charm with updated kitchen and downstairs bathroom. Also, very walkable to a lot of locations. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you, Brian !

Great place to stay ! Only think that was an issue was water pressure in the upstairs bathroom. Besides that the house was pretty clean , very nice, quiet little vacation area! Will recommend!

From the moment we arrived we just knew this was the perfect place for us to stay for the weekend. The location was perfect. Everything about Exchange of Pace was done with so much thought and love. We are definitely looking forward to coming back next year

We loved this house for our family gathering! It was so great having the park and beach right on the lake! View was fantastic. House was very comfortable and so well equipped for big gathering! Lynnette was so accommodating and helpful! Really hope to come back for another reunion with our family.
