This location is perfect if you want to drive and spend a few days exploring the Alentejo. Multiple towns are nearby. Evora is a great all day trip, including the megaliths outside of town, and you get to leave all the guided groups behind. Elvas is a wonderful town very near the border with Spain. Villa Real is a gem. Arraiolos is known for weaving rugs. Evoramonte is close by and has terrific views. All of these towns are hilltop towns with castles. The regional wine is terrific, the cork industry is fascinating, the olives, oranges, and lemons, are great, and you are in the middle of the area of marble quarrying. The towns are predominantly full of white buildings with mustard or blue trim and lot and lots of marble. Fica’s place is comfortable, quiet, and has restaurants, bakeries, drugstores, and small shops just steps away.

The host, Patima, carefully takes care of any shortcomings. The location of the property is a bit away from the main street, so it's quiet, and you can walk to the main street, and there's a riverside promenade that's great for a walk just 2 minutes away.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Susana’s place. The apartment was beautiful, spacious and quiet, and the location was fantastic.

A beautiful apartment in a tastefully renovated townhouse. The photos reflect the apartment as it is. Ideal for a couple. Very well located, close to everything. We had a small problem at check-out and Jose Pedro took care of us very quickly and very kindly. Highly recommended to spend a few days in Évora.

Good location, far (7min drive) from the center of the gate, so with a car it's perfect. Good restaurants nearby. The only downside is that a lot of light comes into the room in the morning and you can hear what's going on outside. Otherwise we loved it!

The house is Wonderful, located in the center of town, and stands out for its cleanliness, and for having all the necessary accessories. The beds are very comfortable. When we return to the area, we will love to occupy this beautiful house again.

Pereira is an amazing host. Upon arrival we were received by the caretaker. He was very polite and gave us a tour of the house and its amenities. The house is gorgeous and perfect for rest and relaxation for my family. The water pressure is amazing. The rooms were spotless. My 8 year old loved the open concept. The oranges taste great off the orange trees in the backyard. I highly recommend Pereira's house for a quiet relaxing time with friends and family.

Lovely place, we enjoyed our time here a lot even tho the weather wasn’t great we still enjoyed the private garden space.

João’s house is right in the middle of Comporta, in a row of similar houses. It looks adorable before you even enter! We had a great stay, which felt like home. So easy to walk to local cafes, shops and restaurants; the beach is walkable over dunes and through pines - most of it on a boardwalk. It’s a beautiful house, in beautiful surroundings and we hope to come back someday!

Booked this as a group of 21, the place was amazing and far exceeded my expectations. The hosts were extremely responsive, gave great recommendations and tips re the local area! We had the best time!!

My husband and I and our three sons had a great trip to Comporta, an experience elevated by staying in Antonio's place. It's very well located, beautifully designed and fully equipped, and we felt we had plenty of space for us all. Everything about the home has been well considered - the kitchen is extremely well appointed and anything you need can easily be sought after in the local grocery shop, a 1 minute walk away. The design is all about beautiful moments - an incredibly comfortable white sofa with a reading light and TV opposite; nice chairs to sit around and chat either around the dining table, at the breakfast bar or in the living area. The showers are strong and the beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows and nice sheets. The local beaches feel unspoilt and wild yet the local food is excellent. Our sons went to Imagine Surf School daily which I fully recommend. An exceptional stay in a very beautiful place.

The photos don't do the place justice, it's much more beautiful and cozy than the photos show, it's close to everything. The view and the surroundings are very beautiful, Marcela was very patient and attentive.

We were very comfortable, the quiet area and you have to take a car for everything, there is a 1,800km road for the . There is a super in the development, carillo, the house is very comfortable but things have to be renovated, the mosquitoes are ineffective but still a 9 out of 10. Ivo super attentive, we'll repeat experience to see more sites

Pete and Linda are the best hosts we've ever had on Airbnb. They both went out of their way to make us happy and comfortable, from local restaurant recommendations to pool toys and everything in-between. Our daughter had an amazing holiday! The house itself is charming, with tonnes of space and everything you could need. The pool is fantastic and well kept. The local area is remote and beautiful with gorgeous countryside everywhere and some charming river beaches. I managed a run down from the house to the beach and back a couple of times but it's pretty hilly. In short, we couldn't recommend this place more. Thanks

Very large and cozy apartment in the center of Setubal. Very close to the port and to all coffees and restaurants. Well equipped. Marika is always easily accessible. If you are looking for peace and quiet, it is not the place( every evening there are concerts right in front of the apartment) . But that was for us no problem. Very recommended!

We had a great time at Mario's place. The house was in perfect conditions. Enjoyed the amazing garden and swimming pool. Mario was at all times very thoughtful and attentive. Making sure we had everything we needed and responding very fast to any message. As well as leaving us a list of recommendations to do. We are very thankful for how we have been treated and thoroughly recommend Mario's place.

Amazing Location. Truly a very special place. So well located for local restaurants and beautiful beaches. Comporta is a short drive away and the ferry over to Setubal is easy and cheap. All round 10/10
