Historical Vintage Villa Within a Mountain and Castle

Rediscover mid-century modern aesthetics at this vintage inspired home. The residence features warm woods, contrasting textures and motifs, light hues, a floating staircase, a minimalist interior design approach, and rooftop views from the balcony to the castle and mountains. Located in the old town, nearby the church of Saint John, you will find the area quiet and silent, all you need to spend some relaxing days. Casa do Adro offers all the amenities of a new modern house, but with the retro/vintage touch and comfort. On the ground floor we have a fully vintage style equipped kitchen with dish washer, laundry, living room and service toilet. There is a big table where 8 people can comfortably sit for dinner, and where we daily serve breakfast with Regional fruit, home made jams, juice and locally bread. The living room offers a nice flat TV and sofa. You can go through 100 international channels, or simply rest or read a book, inside or outside on the terrace. The first floor has two rooms, both with double bed. The bathroom is shared between the two rooms and each room offers air conditioning and splendid views over the mountains and the castle of Porto de Mós. Guests will have access to the whole house. I have limited availability, even though I am reachable 24 hours on the phone and email. Whenever I can, and if my guests feel like, I enjoy a good chat and get to know people. Sharing experiences makes part of the Airbnb concept. The Villa do Adro is located in the historical area of Porto de Mós village. Guests can easily walk to places of interest such as Porto de Mós Castle, the town hall square, and the Serra de Aire and Candeeiros Natural Parks with great trails, caves and views. Parking is always available by the house. The walk to the Village takes 5 mins, and from there you can take buses to the main attractions (Nazaré, Leiria, Fátima, Batalha, etc). We will get in touch with the guests to arrange the check in.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Marc’s place. The house is exactly as shown in the photos – beautifully decorated and thoughtfully restored – but the surrounding atmosphere and views go far beyond what you can expect from pictures alone. The house has a charming rustic character that reflects a deep respect for its original architecture. Every detail feels authentic and carefully preserved, creating a warm and inviting ambiance that makes you feel at home. Liuba and her husband are incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. They keep the house in immaculate condition, spotlessly clean and perfectly maintained. It’s clear they take great pride in the space, and it truly shows. What an amazing house and lovely hosts! We came for my birthday and we were so welcome and looked after. The house is amazing - a dream place with cool interiors and lots of space. The kitchen is really well organised, there’s games and balls, and the pool space large for the kids to find space to play. Lisa and Peter helped with lots of questions (sorry about that!) and were caring and dedicated to our happiness during the stay. Couldn’t recommend enough! Very kind and lovely hosts

I could not recommended more this place in warmer seasons! A beautiful house, with a breathtaking view, amazing garden and well equipped kitchen. The surroundings, amazing too, very quiet and beautiful. Ideal for anyone who wants to relax and enjoy nature. The host was very friendly and responsive. However, the heating, even with a fire place, was not effective and the house was very cold, specially in the bedrooms. If the heating is not improved, I will not go back in winter. But in Spring-Summer, this is a place to go!

An experience to be repeated, no doubt! Mr. Dinalo was always available before and during the reservation. We were very well received by him and the next day for breakfast, we had a gift from Mr. Dinalo, some wonderful croissants! 😊 The space is very pleasant with all the necessary amenities and was very clean. Very well-equipped and spacious kitchen. I am very grateful for Mr. Dinalo's kindness and generosity.

We had a lovely stay in Setúbal! The host was incredibly kind and welcoming — she even prepared a thoughtful welcome gift with local granola and snacks from a nearby bakery, which was such a sweet touch. The place was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. On our last day, she kindly let us have a late checkout to accommodate our night flight, which made things so much easier. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better host. Highly recommended!
