Very cozy house and surrounding space. Very quiet space for those who need to relax / get out of the routine. The visit of the sheep at the end of the day was the most anticipated moment of the day. The Host was always impeccable, and present when needed. A word of appreciation to the cleaning team with whom we had the privilege of meeting at the time of check-out, who were very warm and welcoming.

Ana was kind and her response was accurate and prompt.The facility was well cleaned and clean, while retaining the atmosphere of an old house with beams on the ceiling.Please be careful when putting out the fire, as the gas stove uses matches.It is about 3 minutes from the bus terminal to the city, and it is a convenient location for walking around the city.There were delicious restaurants along the walls, so you didn't have to go to the square in Centro.

Rita was an exceptional host. She provided clear directions and many options regarding places to visit. Her place is both well cared for and well stocked for everything you need.

We had a great experience during our stay. A very quiet space (we only had the company of goats and sheep☺️), our dog walked freely and we followed Daniel's suggestion to go to the beautiful stream near the house. I must mention that Daniel was very friendly and helpful during our stay. In short, I highly recommend it for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. A place to return to ☺️

We had the most stunning time here. The place is beautiful and well equipped with real attention to detail. The pool and garden are gorgeous and the house has everything you could need. Evora is close by and the setting is stunning with the sounds of animals all around. We absolutely loved it and it was perfect for the puppy who adored the garden 🐾

Amazing experience. Not only is the house beautiful, comfortable and charming, but it is extremely well equipped and the land is fantastic. Pedro's messages ahead of our arrival made finding the place easy and seamless. Always quick to comeback with an answer to questions we had and overall very thoughtful. Excellent home for a retreat with friends. Quiet and secluded location. The house is equipped with everything and more. Sónia was always very helpful with information, and always helped regardless of the time. Very flexible check-in. I highly recommend it if you want a place to rest.

This is a hidden gem nestled in a vineyard with a nice vegetable and fruit garden. Beautiful mild scented roses lined the entrance way to our villa. There was a large beautiful pool and our place was very clean. If you want a quiet relaxing time away from noise, light and air pollution this is the place to unwind. We did many day trips to the neighbouring towns and was always happy to be back here. Margarida and her husband, Joaquim, were gracious hosts who allowed us to pick fruits and vegetables from their farm. We enjoyed two bottles of wine (red and white wine) from their own vineyard which was very nice. Great view! Rustic and so close to nature. Great for guests who want a retreat for contemplation and to have a fun time with their families.

It was a wonderful and comfortable space for us. Everything you would need to cook, entertain or recreate was provided. The sleeping area was large. The pond was inviting to swim in and relaxing to sit by with unending views and sunsets that were amazing. In actuality, the pictures cannot do it justice. Thank you and we will return!

We stayed at Daniel's place for a little more than a week. It was a very restful experience for us in a beautiful rural setting. There are services like restaurants and grocery stores within a close distance at Montemor-o-Novo. It is easy to make meals at the house if you want, the kitchen is well equipped. The house is nicely renovated in a way that blends new and old. It feels very spacious even though it is a modest size. There is an outdoor eating area shaded by a trellis and a large tree that provides a great space for outdoor dining and relaxing. The house interior stays at a comfortable temperature even when it is quite warm outside. Daniel was very helpful with suggestions about things to do in the area and where to eat. We would definitely return again if possible.

This is the third time we've come to Sonia's. I love it. The place is beautiful. The lake, canoe, paddle, walks around allow you to enjoy the natural lake. The air conditioning works well (it was 36 degrees). A few ant and mosquito attacks. I will be back with pleasure.

The patio is a true haven, perfect for outdoor dining and moments of tranquility. The house is well-equipped and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is a supermarket and an excellent sausage shop just a few steps away, and we loved integrating walks through the village into our routine. Maria João was a thoughtful and generous host — she even offered us a bottle of family olive oil, a beautiful gesture that we will remember. We highly recommend it!

We had a fantastic stay- a great house in a great location. Paula, the housekeeper, was super nice and helpful and the house had everything we wanted for our holiday (the outdoor kitchen area was particularly lovely). Easy access to some fantastic local restaurants and bars in town and a nice walk to the beach along the boardwalk. Comporta is great and would love to return again.

Super nice house, super comfortable and with everything you need for a good vacation or even just a weekend. We were 6 adults and 4 children, space and bed for everyone, fun and entertainment for the kids is not lacking. Everything clean and neat. D. Dulce and D. Celeste is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back and I highly recommend this house.
