Lucy and Steve were both very friendly and helpful- perfect balance of being there if you needed them but not intrusive. I loved the rural location, watching the antics of the Texel sheep ( and listening to them!) was a bonus. During our short stay we saw kestrel, pheasant and various song birds. If you like being immersed in the countryside you will love this place. Everything was very clean, the bed was super comfy, the shower warm. We were proved with a radio, lovely selection of books relating to the local area, a mini fridge, microwave and kettle. All of which looked brand new! We had a great meal ( almost on the beach) at the Hive cafe in Burton Bradstock which is only about a 15 min leisurely drive away.

Beautiful area ,peaceful and easy access to A35 for travelling around Dorset /Devon .Cottage was excellent everything we needed beds very comfortable couldn't fault.would highly recommend.

We have spent a lovely few days at Harriet's place, exploring the Jurassic coast. We felt cosy, comfortable and private, surrounded by luscious greenery. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom clean and well designed. We appreciated the milk and butter left in the mini fridge. There was no cooking facilities, as clearly set out in the listing, but we used our camping cooking gear.
