Open Studio in Kamakura's Tranquil Jomyoji Area

This is so beautiful place! There is a lot of nature that is typical of Kamakura. And, bamboo temple is also within walking distance. There is also a bus stop nearby that will take you directly to Kamakura Station. They are kind, They gave me information about Kamakura. The room is very warm And it's clean. The room is spacious and nice. There is a private space. If you come to Kamakura and want a quiet place to stay, I recommend this place. The area around Kamakura Station was crowded and we were tired, so this was the perfect place for us. I will stay again,Thank you, arigato!

Perfect accommodation that exceeded expectations!🏡🗻🐕 Staying at the B&B near Kawaguchiko this time was the highlight of our trip to Japan! The Host Wakoh is super enthusiastic, and has been communicating with us easily in fluent Chinese/English/Japanese since check-in. Not only did he introduce the room facilities in detail, but he also took the initiative to provide a lot of travel tips and hidden attractions around Mt. Fuji, making our trip more enriching ~ ✨Room experience: The B&B is very clean and tidy, cozy, and fully equipped. The most surprising thing was that the host's two dogs were super cute and added a lot of joy to the stay!Breakfast is also super delicious, you can feel the host's care. 🚴‍♀️Additional Services: The electric bike rental service provided by the host is affordable, and it is especially convenient to explore the surroundings of Kawaguchi Lake by bike. What was even more touching was that the Host personally took us to find Mt. Fuji limited edition souvenirs, and even accompanied us on the Kaba Bus to enjoy the scenery, sharing a lot of anime culture and travel photos with each other along the way. 📌In conclusion, If I come to Mt. Fuji again, I will definitely choose this place again! Not only is it comfortable to stay, but it's more like meeting a local friend. Highly recommended to all travelers who want to experience the style of Hekou Lake in depth ~ Thank you for your hospitality, I hope to see you again!❤️

Kumiko is a wonderful host who will help you with anything you need, whether providing snacks, taking you to and from the station, or helping with suitcases. The place is very clean and the location is a great location that you can easily travel anywhere to. Her two pets make the stay a 12/10 as well

Haruchan, Guesthouse of Bagel shop|Bagel breakfast

LenaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We enjoyed this place very much, the house has a lot of charm. The loft at the very top under the roof was also very nice (unfortunately it was a little too warm to use it). The kitchen was very well furnished and everything was available for cooking. And also the bagels we got for breakfast were very delicious. By bus you are relatively fast at Kamakura Station and in about 10-15 minutes you can walk to the nearest beach.

3 minutes to the shore of Lake Sejin, 10-tatami Japanese-style room

Hooi ZhongRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Thank you Machiko for hosting us and sharing tips on where to catch a great view of Mount Fuji. The view was amazing, and we also got to walk around the village to see some cultural places. Machiko also explained all the house rules well, and since it is a rather old house, there are some things to take note of like the water heater. She let us used to kitchen to make meals too, appreciate it! Her cat is super friendly too. Loved the overall vibe of staying there!

A small house on the outskirts.

Sachio-san is the loveliest host I've ever met. His home is more beautiful than the pictures could show - the bedroom and its attached reading nook is bright and lovingly furnished, the duvet is ultra soft and comfy, and the toilet and bathroom are squeaky clean. Sachio-san, I will miss your breakfast and coffee with classical music, the warm baths, and the view from your car! Thank you for celebrating my 30th birthday with me. I will treasure this memory for life ❤️

Retreat Resort Wild nature, private room and onsen

SarahmarieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Staying with Jun and Kimi at Peace One was the perfect way for us to start our Japan trip, and has already become one of my favorite travel experiences of my life. The guesthouse itself is in a tranquil setting in the forest outside Fujiyoshida. The private onsen was the perfect way to wind down after a long day of walking and exploring. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. We slept well on the futon mattresses. Jun was so flexible and easygoing about getting us to and from town that transportation was never an issue. He also taught us so much about the long history of the region and his research on peaceful indigenous societies before war began in Japan, even going so far as to take us to an ancient shrine near the house. Places like Peace One and people like Jun and Kimi are what travel should be all about. I highly recommend staying here, not just for the place itself but for the experience. “Peace” is certainly a perfect name for this place. I hope to stay here again someday!

【A White Guesthouse in the Forest】Breakfast/5ppl

MarianRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This house is vintage with lots of charm. Was 15 minutes walk to the lake and transportation. Not too many choices of restaurants that are near by. I’m happy I had breakfast included in my reservation. The owner is an energetic, older lady very sweet, she made the best breakfast for me every morning. Thank you so much for your hospitality and helping me during my stay.

Couldn't recommend it more!Beautiful house, close to Yamanakako and Hiranoya Station, you can see Mt. Fuji when you go out.The daily breakfast is great. I stayed here for 2 days and was surprised to eat the host's own American and Japanese breakfast. It's really thoughtful. ~ Because I'm here to ride around Mt. Fuji, the host also took us around the lake and introduced us to the attractions along the way. Thank you very much.🙏💗

Ocean view Japanese experience stay 1h fromTokyo

ZhihanRating, 5 stars34 months ago
In short it was a very satisfying experience. House and gardens are tastefully made. Cups and plates are carefully chosen. Equipments and amenities are of good quality. The space design harnesses the ocean view and presents it in a less noisy frame. In the same space opposite ocean you get a picturesque garden view. Strong natural elements meets man-made tranquility in one room. It’s hard to beat. Nobu San was making great effort to make sure we felt comfortable of him being the house master. He did everything, driving, ordering food, arranging meals, etc. The dinner we ordered was quite excellent as well. Thanks to the chef in collaboration. This might be the best small house along kamakura coast. We highly recommend it to others.

Spacious room with a small Japanese-style room overlooking★ Mt. Fuji

KayrinaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We enjoyed our stay at HAOSTAY for our day trip to Mt Fuji! The hotel has breathtaking views of Mt Fuji. Check was in easy and they held our luggage until our rook was ready. We love the welcome snacks and keychain welcoming us. Room was just as described and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The free breakfast was lovely and Theresa rooftop terrace to take in the views of Mt Fuji while drinking your coffee. The only complaint of our stay was the downstairs cafe was offering two dinner options, since it was raining the first night we got there, we opted in for the dinner at the hotel. The food was good but when we went to go pay, the waitress says it cash only which caught us by surprise as there was no signs or we were told this was cash only. Thankfully we had some cash but there were other patrons dining at the same time who also wasn’t aware and didn’t have cash on them which led them to walk to the nearest store in the rain to take cash out.
