FALL GETAWAY-Stayed Oct 18-20, 2024 with friends. The surroundings at this cottage in the fall are absolutely beautiful lots of fall colours and wildlife. There's a lovely beach just down the road we had great weather so it was nice to go for a walk, very peaceful not allot of people this time of year. We had dinner at Macphersons on Friday night which was very good and pizza the following night at Grogs which was also very good. Host Rebecca was wonderful, helpful, very worry free experience. Great cottage very clean had everything you would need to enjoy your stay. Fantastic getaway to unwind and enjoy the outdoors would highly recommend.

Peter was a great host, he did everything possible to allow us to have a comfortable stay. We had everything we needed to have a stress free, relaxing weekend. He made several recommendations for placing to visit in the area and was extremely responsive and helpful when needed. We would very much recommend staying at Peter’s AirBNB, we felt right at home and would definitely go back!

This is a beautiful place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. Has everything we needed. Being in Port Elgin in the fall, having the propane fire pit is perfect. Lots of room for 6 adults. We had a lovely stay in Port Elgin. The nearby beach is stunning. Lisa's place is clean and very tidy. It was comfortbale for our large wedding party. Excellent stay!

We were impressed with Kayla's place. We were not traveling with kids or pets, but they'd be very comfortable here. The house was very quiet so it was a great place to get a good night's sleep. It's right next to downtown with lots of places to eat, but also had a really well stocked kitchen. We found all utensils we could need to cook on our own.

Very clean and more than comfortable. The bed was excellent and the room darkening blinds made for great sleeps. There was no bath for the baby or food storage containers but we were close by to my parents home for these. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it!

This was such a nice and comfy space. My girlfriend and I went for a shopping/ spa weekend. We each had our own beautiful room and own bathroom which was luxurious. Great place. Wonderful location. Would love to go back.

Our first trip to Kincardine and it didn’t disappoint. Jim was a wonderful host. The house was cute, cozy and comfortable. Everything exactly as expected. Would stay again. Close to the beach and the Main Street restaurants. Great location.

Dawn and Joel’s place was a perfect home away home while we were visiting friends. We chose the place for the location and couldn’t be happier. It has everything you need to be comfortable. There are technically two beds (one sofa bed) but it would be snug with two adult couples. My partner and I thought it was perfect for us. Dawn was super sweet and helpful. We would love to be back!

We had a lovely stay. Nice and quiet. There is a private beach close by which was really nice with a beautiful sunset. Host is amazing and would stay again!

We had the most amazing stay here for the Easter long weekend. Perfect location (extremely close to downtown, but just out of range from any hustle and bustle), clean and comfortable accommodations and incredibly well stocked, far above and beyond expectations. Carly is a kind, thorough and responsive host, and we honestly could not have asked for a better experience. Will definitely book here the next time the winds blow us to Stratford!

This place has been one of the best places I have been to. Charlene and John are really great people who are welcoming, made us feel like home with everything available as described. The location and ambiance is great with peaceful environment and beach is just 10 minutes drive. Amenities like hot-tub, fireplace made the experience even better. We highly recommend visiting this place.

He is such a great host, we stayed there nearly 45 days and he was there for all our needs. He bought us brand new modem for the faster internet as we all are working from home. Lot of bed space available and everything is neat and clean.

Kelly’s place was the perfect spot for my partner and I. We attended a wedding at the hessenland inn and it was only a 7 minute drive. The place was clean and Kelly was very friendly and accommodating to our request for an earlier check in. If we are ever in need of a place to stay in this area again we will definitely reach out to Kelly!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Andrew’s place. It was extremely extremely clean and well stocked with amenities for our stay. Andrew himself was very responsive and helpful and made our stay a very stress-free one.

As advertised. Hosts were helpful, and proactive. Our time there was seemless and we went about our business with no issues.

Wendy’s suite was beautifully appointed and had everything I needed. The suite was very clean and the building was lovely. Wendy’s instructions were clear and helpful. I would love to stay here again next time I’m in Waterloo.

Jules is a prime example of a quality host. She proactively checked in at just the right times to ensure I had everything I needed for my extended stay. Her condo is a lower unit in a 4 split, inside a quiet complex, minutes walk to everything and anything you could possibly need. Clean, cozy, perfectly equipped.

Faran is a lovely host. She is incredibly responsive. The condo was as described. We weren't able to enjoy the building amenities but they looked great. The location was convenient for two separate sporting facility venues we needed to travel to/from.

Spent the weekend with girlfriends at Debbie’s beautiful condo! We were extremely satisfied with how smooth the check in was and how beautiful the space was! It was in perfect proximity to all of the local eateries and shopping downtown. Debbie gave wonderful suggestions for things to do and places to try. The beds and furniture were very comfortable and provided a perfect place to relax. This place exceeded all of our expectations. We would gladly stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone coming to the area.

Was staying for golf - great location, close to everything

I came here after a car accident to rest for a few days and I instantly felt like I was at a five star hotel. Even better because you have so much more available. The apartment is so nicely decorated- simple and chic. Nice and cozy. Loved the space and large windows all around. The bedroom is so nice and the bed was super comfortable. I was very happy with the level of cleanliness. I’ve been to a lot of Airbnbs and the main issue is always cleanliness. You can tell this apartment is well taken care of. I enjoyed my stay and wished I could have stayed longer. I know when I choose Gilbert & Wendy that I will have a very nice place to stay.
