Waterfront vacation rentals in Ashe County

A great location with almost immediate access to skiing and hiking trails! We didn’t use the amenities while there but did see many families enjoying them. A 15 minute ride to Boone and all that area offers was a plus. This was a quiet, corner location with a soothing view of a pond on the grounds out all of the windows. A good sized space to wind down after a full day of adventures!

We enjoyed our stay! The space was very clean and the location was wonderful. The view from the deck was beautiful. Another plus is that we were able to pull our pontoon on the shore and leave it for the weekend. Kayla was a phenomenal host - very friendly, welcoming, helpful and responsive! Would recommend!

We had a great stay with Jamie. The location is close to everything you’d want to experience in Boone. Jamie was proactive and sent access information and instructions ahead of time. Jamie checked in several times and was ready to answer any questions that popped up. We loved how cozy this spot felt. Perfect for a weekend getaway.

Great place for a visit to Sugar Mountain! I took my son and we had a blast. This place is really close to the mountain and everything g in Banner Elk! The place was very clean and had everything g we needed! I highly recommend!

It was very quaint, clean and comfortable place. The apartment was above the garage of the host's house. It was very private even though the building was technically connected. The host was very responsive, clear on the instructions, and friendly. This place was only 5 miles from Grayson Highland entrance. There are SO many things to do and places to go from there. I definitely recommend this place to stay if you are in the area for an adventure!!!!

We had a great stay!! Everything was just as described! Perfect distance to sugar and beech for skiing! We hope to be back soon!

It was perfect for the number of people needing separate bedrooms with their own bathrooms. It was a charming place with all the amenities we needed. I would recommend it as a great place to stay.

Chris was an AMAZING host ! He was flexible! The place was clean and very comfortable! The fireplace was a cozy edition. The location was 2nd to none. I highly recommend this listing !

Tara's home was perfect for our family. The 2 downstairs bedrooms were convenient for my husband and me, and our daughter and her husband. Our teen-aged granddaughter and her friend adored the upstairs beds and seating area. We enjoyed going into West Jefferson, nearby restaurants, and canoeing during the day, and sitting out by the fire pit in the evenings. We had a wonderful, relaxing trip.

Andy’s was just what we needed for a relaxing weekend get away! Very clean and had everything we needed. Very close to cute little town of Lansing and West Jefferson but still very private and peaceful. I didn’t want to leave and most definitely will come back for a longer stay!

The house was a mile and a half down a well maintained gravel road. Then you turned down a steep drive (city girl) . It was very peaceful. I live in town and it was so nice to sit on the porch and watch the river flow by. Easy access into the river.Visitors daily of deer and rabbits and birds. No sirens or car sounds. Sherri was a great host. Responded quickly with any questions and offered ideas of hiking trails. The house had all you needed in the way of cookware and the beds were comfortable. Enjoyed!

We loved the pond and enjoyed the back deck with the grill. We brought our sxs and was able to enjoy the countryside. Fully stocked kitchen. The shower is A+. Our host was very responsive and helpful. Will def go back again soon.

loved our stay! great location, only about 45 minutes from Grayson highlands state Park to go see wild ponies. The property also along the New River, so we brought our inflatable paddle boards and went for a short paddle up river and then floated back down (don't recommend unless you are experienced with river paddling safety). Everything about our stay was wonderful and we hope to stay again in the future

Great cabin, right on the river in one of the quietest locations we've stayed! The experience was fantastic all the way around. The cabin was clean and stocked, with beautiful scenery, yet close to town and shopping. The host, Aimee, was super friendly and we had great communication. Overall 5 stars!

Extremely beautiful cabin and location. The view was amazing got to watch numerous deer feed in the field across the street from the balcony. Enjoyed listening to the river rushing by every day. Was able to experience snow the first day and even go to do a little sledding. Steve was very responsive to our questions and the cabin was peaceful and very clean. Great stay and will definitely be back in the future.

The place was great for skiing at Sugar Mountain. Everything was good but the floor was bit dirty, our white socks turned black within 5 minutes of walking around. Other than that, everything was perfect!

The condo is super cozy and suitable for a weekend getaway. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Had a fantastic time and being with in walking distance of everything is very helpful especially during the high traffic times of the day.

My stay at the 4BR Villa in Banner Elk was absolutely delightful! The villa was spacious, beautifully furnished, and offered all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. It was the perfect getaway spot for relaxation and enjoying the beauty of the mountains. Would highly recommend it for families or groups looking for a luxurious and peaceful retreat!

Nice place in a superb location

Loved this rustic creekside condo. It was beautiful inside and out. Everything you needed was there. The deck outside to relax and listen to the creek was so nice. We would definitely stay here again!

Shawn’s place was perfect for a place to stay while attending concert at Beech Mt. Has all the things you need for a great stay including an amazing back porch with a creek and a view. Communication was great and place was clean.

Thoughtful touches! From little signs with helpful info to ear plugs provided to lovely linens on the bed! This is our second stay here. It feels like you are miles away from the noise of civilization but it only a few minutes up Sugar. So, you have the babbling stream rushing over the rocks out back to listen to, but can get to Food Lion or restaurants in just a few minutes.
