I stayed here with my family of 4 and our dog. We absolutely loved the cabin! The location and aesthetic of it was exactly everything we were looking for. Arion & Wendy we’re very accommodating and responded back in a timely manner. The cabin is just how it looks! It’s a nice getaway from the city! We’d love to come here again for sure!

What an enchanting cabin! It felt like staying at a cottage you read about in a storybook or fairy tale. The yard and surrounding landscape were absolutely stunning. There is a babbling creek right next to the cabin. We visited with our toddler and two dogs. There is a private trail on the property we walked a few times. Our dogs were able to be off leash the entire time with no signs of other people. The bedroom was so cozy, even in the chilly night. I slept much better than usual! We only had the privilege of staying one night, but I would gladly have stayed much longer if I had the opportunity.

My pup and I had a great quick stay. Beautiful view, yard to throw ball with the pup and a fire pit to relax around and look at the stars! Quick trip to multiple hikes. We hiked up to White Top on the AT. Beautiful!!

Walter was very accommodating and helpful. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The outdoor patios and fireplace area were awesome. It was very quiet and private. The waterfalls were walking distance from the cabin and a lot bigger than what it looked like in the pics. Such a cool little spot, we had a blast!

Cozy Getaway Close to Town – Loved the Hot Tub! This cabin was the perfect little escape! It’s nothing fancy, but it had everything we needed for a relaxing long weekend. The location is great — tucked just far enough away to feel private, but still only a short drive to town for groceries, restaurants, and a coffee run. The cabin itself is clean and comfortable. The bed was surprisingly comfy, and the kitchen had just enough to cook simple meals. The real highlight, though, was the hot tub. So nice to soak in it at night under the stars — super peaceful. If you’re looking for a chill spot to unwind with easy access to town, this cabin’s a solid choice.

I chose this cabin specifically to celebrate my mother’s birthday, just one week to the day before the WNC floods. She was just awe struck the whole weekend and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Nestled beside a tranquil brook, this cozy cabin is the perfect retreat for those looking to unplug and unwind… or use as a home base as you see all the sights around it! Surrounded by lush greenery, it offers a serene escape with the soothing sound of running water that beckons you to relax. It has two patios overlooking the beautiful river below so you can sit and enjoy. The cabin's rustic charm is complemented by modern amenities, making it a seamless blend of comfort and nature. This hidden gem is a sanctuary of peace! The only con I can imagine is the master bathroom is very petite, but there is a second, larger bathroom.

We had a short stay on our trip to the coast, but will be back with out a doubt. The A frame is so cool and I loved the craftsmanship and little details they put in it. The area was quiet and so pretty, thank you for this beautiful experience!

The utmost in cozy comfort Mountain City Mini has all the modern amenities of home while being surrounded by the wonders of nature. This tiny home is secluded in a wooded valley yet it’s accessible to restaurants and shopping with the small town charm. We enjoyed a restful weekend away and will definitely stay here again!

This place was great. My family and myself had an awesome time. The house was spectacular. This was our first time staying in a tiny house and it did not disappoint. Everything was comfortable and played out perfectly. Was just right outside of town but far enough to be quiet. Thank you Janet and family for letting us enjoy your place.

Absolutely beautiful place. The bathrooms and tubs were honestly the standout of the whole house. The kitchen was fully stocked with amenities. The exterior porch was great for stargazing.

I thanked Lisa for building a cabin that was perfect for me. Fire place, singing creek at the end of the yard, close to everything and tucked away nicely. And the most comfortable chairs for reading. The wi-fi was strong enough to reach to the creek. Which allowed me to watch the PBS Newshour by the creek….but maybe I should have paid more attention to the creek and less attention to the news. Great place!

Kirstin’s tiny home cabin was exactly what we were looking for! It is absolutely adorable, and super comfortable! We would stay here for a longer time if we ever get the chance because the amount of storage is ample! And all the details like hooks on the walls (everywhere!), beautiful mosaic art pieces, and cozy fireplace make it easy to feel right at home. Kirstin was an incredibly responsive host and helpful throughout our stay. Thank you Kirstin! My daughter and I had a wonderful stay and look forward to booking with you at one of your other properties someday soon!

Perfect spot for visiting Roaring River Vineyard and hiking at Stone Mtn. We loved the outside porch perfect of our wine and cheese, stars and crops evening. The firepit made for a magical evening. We forgot our eggs for the griddle for brekkie and Tabitha came to the rescue and was so accompanying for our bday requests. We will be back

We absolutely LOVED staying in Tammy and Tim’s tiny home! They were so willing to show us around their farm and feed their animals. I recommend this stay to anyone looking for a private, peaceful home with the kindest hosts. Plus, it didn’t hurt that all the animals were so wonderful and sweet (shoutout Ferd, Walker, Chief, Annie, and Tucker the cat!) I can’t wait to return to Abingdon and hopefully stay in their tiny home again❤️

Very peaceful and relaxing. Our nephew’s wedding was at The Inn at Crestview on Saturday so we stayed fairly close to the venue. So happy that John and Stacy provided beautiful pet friendly home to us so we could take our fur children with us for the weekend

Hard to speak too highly of this place! It's one of the best places we've stayed! The Silver Stream is super cozy and cute. The bed is comfy. Little snacks and goodies. We really enjoyed the hot-tub. Everything was perfect. Highly recommended!!

Wonderful place to hang our hat for a couple of nights as were meeting up with cousins in the area to get reaquainted. Loved the privacy and uniqueness of the property. It served us very well and Edward was very responsive to the few questions we had. We had a water main break and were without water for a few hours but he let us know that and also let us know when the water service had been restored. Loved the place, if in the area again, we'll be sure to see if it's available again! Thanks.

I stayed here with my dog and a friend. The cabin was truly relaxing, nestled perfectly in the trees by a creek. The yard is fenced so your pup can freely enjoy being outside with you, by the fire pit or on the elevated deck. Our hosts were quickly responsive and helpful, making sure every part of our experience was enjoyable. Waking up to the sound of birds and the creek, breathing in the fresh air, and disconnecting from the rush of everyday life was such a gift. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to relax, recharge, and reconnect with nature. If you’re headed out, make sure you visit downtown Lansing. We spent a little time in the general store getting coffee, tea, and beer each day, and learned that other businesses are reopening after Helene. The produce market is working hard to reopen for summer. We had to venture to Jefferson for groceries but it was a pleasant drive and we enjoyed our entire stay. Lansing is a gem and I wish everyone the best as they rebuild!

This place was great for our weekend stay in Boone. David’s instructions to get there were very descriptive since gps instructions don’t go to the top of the mountain where this is. It is an interesting drive there. The cabin had all of the essentials. The views from the cabin are great too!

The AirBnB was lovely, close enough to hear the New River at night with a window open and close enough to most major towns. I would suggest checking out the Todd Mercantile store if you rent this AirBnB. Lovely old store and a neat way to look at history.

Comfortable and relaxed stay. Perfect for 2-3 guests. Well furnished and has all the amenities.

We had a wonderful stay with Sara while attending MerleFest. The cabin and surroundings are wonderful. Sara was very responsive and check in and check out was very easy. Highly recommend.
