Bolsena House

This is our vacation home in beautiful Bolsena. We rent it out when we do not use it ourselves. This view is from our rooftop terrace. It overlooks the Santa Cristina Basilica and Bolsena lake - the largest lake of volcanic origin in Europe. Our house is located in the center of the old town, only a few minutes walk from the waterfont with its charming marina, peaceful beaches and numerous good restaurants. Pets are allowed upon request.

We spent four days in total tranquility, surrounded by nature and breathtaking scenery, perfect for relaxing and enjoying sunsets while walking in the surroundings. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the common areas are comfortable and well-organized. The host was extremely helpful and proactive from check-in, promptly responding to any needs. Our family of six had an absolutely wonderful stay at Stefano and Alex’s place! The location was great being so close to many shops and restaurants, but what really set this place apart was the hospitality from the host and owner. From the moment we arrived until we departed, Stefano was very helpful and responsive. The first day we arrived, he helped with dinner restaurants at an AMAZING place nearby. Then, when my in-laws had a late flight on the day of checkout, Stefano did everything he could to make their additional hours comfortable. Like I said, from beginning to end, he was great! The unit itself was very comfortable for the six of us, including my wife and I, our 7 year old daughter, and three parents in their 70’s. The spiral stairs down proved to be a little tricky, but that was easy to overcome. All of the other amenities and little touches were very thoughtful, and we greatly appreciated the welcome treats and drinks. Highly recommend this lovely place!

Rocky's home is incredible. It is so peaceful and relaxing, and the sunsets from the yard are stunning! Our family spent the week here and we loved it. We loved our day trips to Pienza and Montalcino, and a visit to a local farm, but returning to the villa in the afternoon was magical. I would not hesitate to come back or to recommend this place!

This is one of the most magical places I’ve stayed in Italy. The house is so beautiful and quiet, recently restored, fresh with an amazing garden with vegetables and a table under cherry trees in eh I’ve e would have breakfast or dinner. Heather was simply amazing, offering valuable information that helped us enojoy even more visiting Lubriano and surroundings. She even helped us get a reservation at Vecchio Mulino!! It was beautiful to experience Lazio and it’s quiet softness and ancient beauty. I would definitely come back!! The pictures don’t even start to show the beauty and the great energy of this house!

Great Airbnb for my wife and I who were in Italy before our wedding in Tuscany. The Airbnb was clean and looked like the pictures. Private property and surrounded by nature and scenic views of Umbria. The communication before and during the stay from the hosts was also great. The pre-arrival instructions were also extremely helpful, as both Waze and Google Maps only got us part of the way to the Airbnb (the Airbnb was about 15-20 minutes away from the main road). We brought our nine-month old baby, and this is a baby-friendly Airbnb. Upon request, they provided us with a travel crib, a baby bath, and a high chair. They also had soft pads that we could lay on the floor for our baby to play on. He really enjoyed the nature. Unfortunately, we weren't able to check out any of the local restaurant due to our baby and dealing with baby jetlag. We're looking forward to coming back to Umbria to check out more of the towns, like Assisi.

The house has a very convenient location for the beach and is equipped with all amenities, including WiFi (convenient as there is not much network coverage in the area). Cinzia was very nice and responsive, even when we had to delay check-in due to an unexpected event.

An atypical, artistic and unique apartment, a beautiful place in an exceptional village. You can park a few hundred yards away and it's better not to be too busy or a little sporty. Maybe we would have enjoyed it even more on sunny days but Caleb really did everything to make sure everything went smoothly. He is a really thoughtful and very responsive host who will do everything to make your stay perfect. He alone deserves the best recommendations. The village cats are really adorable!

We were greeted super warmly by Lorenzo's Mama Alba. The apartment even exceeded their pictures. Really very very nice and so comfortable. Has everything you need. Wonderful location and sensational atmosphere. Lorenzo's numerous tips were all gold value and we were able to enjoy Tuscan cuisine every day. The small town of Anghiari is fantastic, a really beautiful place in the middle of Tuscany. Everything worked out great, from the communication with Lorenzo to the " daily care" by Alba. 5 stars does not do this place justice! This is a true slice of paradise. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and felt right at home from the very beginning. The views are exquisite. The peace is palpable. The host is so thoughtful and attentive to every small detail. It was like our very own resort from the moment the gate opened! There are so many amazing touches, I truly can’t say enough good things! The surroundings are so beautiful and easy to get to. We miss it already!

Lovely home within the city walls, with thought and attention given to the renovation of a historic home. While the weather didn’t cooperate as much as we hoped, the limited time we spent on the amazing terrace was noteworthy. Also rare in Italian rentals was the provision of a dryer, which was appreciated. The only drawback was the antique living room furniture, which was limited in space and comfort. Had we been able to use the terrace, this would have been less of a problem. I would recommend this rental!
