This studio rental has mountain views from every window surrounded by pasture land and an organic farm. Casita Seco is a short distance to the Taos Ski Valley on one end and the Town of Taos on the other. At least four restaurants are within walking distance along with galleries and shops. Casita Seco is an Adobe studio with Southwestern charm. Saltillo tile floors keep this studio cool in the summer, in floor heating keeps it cozy in the winter. The kitchen is fully equipped. Fun activities for all ages in the Taos area include: skiing, snowboarding in surrounding towns, mountain and desert hiking to rivers and waterfalls, rock climbing (we can help with reservations), whitewater rafting and kayaking, hot air ballooning, golf, tennis, and mountain biking. World class restaurants, shops, a cinema, including a weekly art film series, museums, art galleries, classes, and workshops. Something for everyone. The Taos Ski Valley has many fun events throughout the Winter; the Taos Film Festival takes place in March; the World Poetry Bout in June; the Solar Music Festival in July; the Fall Arts Festival in September; Mountain Film Festival and the Balloon Festival in October. Visit the Taos Pueblo the oldest continually occupied structure in North America with tours and several festivals open to the public. Pets are welcome. There is a $10 per night per pet fee, with a maximum of 2 pets.
