Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Arkansas River

Great space, tucked away in the woods. Nice amenities on a great lake in Fort Scott. Spacious, clean, peaceful and very comfortable. Did our annual father-son fishing trip here. Fishing wasn't great because of the weather, but based on how many boats we saw in the area, must be a good spot. Would stay again. Boys had a great time too.

Perfect getaway from all the noise of city life. This is the location you want to go if you need to relax and enjoy some time away in beautiful AR. Kelly is the best host, very responsive and super laid back. Will return for sure!.

If you're looking for peace and tranquility in Oklahoma, this is the place. My wife and I absolutely loved it Noemi's spot. Beautiful large windows that overlook the lake and a deck to enjoy the birds over your morning cup of coffee. We were even able to go swimming and sun tan on the private dock. 10/10 would come back and I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a beautiful and peaceful space to enjoy.

What a beautiful, magical place! Gregory was the best host I've ever dealt with -- responsive and kind and lots of helpful info. And the house is simply gorgeous! The surroundings are peaceful and stunning and I never wanted to leave. Truly a fantastic discovery and a place I want to visit again. Thank you, Gregory, for sharing this special place!

I don’t think I have all the words to explain this experience in staying at this special home. We found it by chance with a last minute cancellation, totally understanding why it is booked up ahead of time as this is a special spot. The accomodation was comfortable and homely, our first evening we had the records playing while we had a fire pit and were barbecuing. The surroundings are the most spectacular garden of fruit trees, medicinal flowers and plants and gorgeous herbs. The kitchen was something out of a magazine, every imaginable appliance and tool to cook up a storm. The sauna and outside bath is fantastic!This is such a gem of a spot that literally filled our souls with happiness!!! Thank you both for allowing us to experience your special oasis💜

What a great little gem! We stayed for one night, but would definitely come back for more! Guest house was very cozy, but had a nice spacious screened-in porch with a projector and hot tub. And plenty of amenities!

This was our first glamping experience and it didn’t miss. The Hide Away says it all in its name. You felt like you were in a world of your own in a space full of charming decor and all of the amenities you would need. We highly recommend to those looking to get away to spend time together out in nature. We will definitely be coming back.

It was such a cozy and serene place to stay. Loved all the amenities provided and the place was nice and clean. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay. From the “lakeside view” description we thought we would be able to see the water, but instead it was a pretty view of green trees behind their house. Other than that everything was great. The hot tub was a nice perk.

Clean, secure, safe, cozy. Cool area by the Library. The Streetcar (free) stops directly outside the building. This spot is not in the dead center of the restaurant districts, which just means it's a little quieter. You can get to the trendy parts of downtown with a 5-20-minute walk (or a 3-10-minute Streetcar ride). So, great location. The apartment is super clean. Everything works and looks nearly brand new. It's a well-kept space. Washer/dryer, dishwasher, smart TVs in the bedroom and living room. No concerns about security. Parking is in a gated deck beside the apartment. The security guard on duty is incredibly helpful - don't hesitate to call them for help finding the parking (if needed) or a general overview of the building. The gym in the building is well-equipped with a variety of machines and weights. Saved me a drive to Planet Fitness. Savannah was quick to respond to any questions I had and communicated well. Bonus: The shower heads are great for people 3'-8' tall!

This place is great if you want to disconnect from the tv and phone and get out into nature. her meditation sanctuary is just a short walk away from the house. The house was very clean and big enough for the two of us. Heidi was very helpful and met with us when we arrived to show us around the property. The hot tub was very relaxing and easy to use. Her three dogs are the sweetest baby’s and will greet you as well! She has a breakfast menu, where she’ll prepare whatever you order and bring it to your house! One of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had.

Good place, good area, wasn’t at the house itself a whole lot but the time we were there it was very comforting and relaxing.

Kathryn and Connie’s place was exactly what I needed — peaceful, spotless, and thoughtfully prepared from top to bottom. I’ve traveled all over the world, and this was truly one of the best all-around stays I’ve ever had. They went above and beyond — from snacks and drinks to Epsom salt for a much-needed bath after long moving days. Everything was clean, quiet, and relaxing, which meant the world to me during a stressful transition. If you’re lucky enough to book this place — do it. It’s more than just a stay — it’s a recharge. Thank you both again. You made a tough week feel a whole lot better.

Quiet and very comfortable - located at the end of a cul-de-sac. Clean and easily accessible. Easy access to the Promenade and the Walmart Amp. Nicely stocked kitchen and amenities.

Beautiful spot to relax, and the host was very cordial and responded promptly to my inquiries! View from the back deck gorgeous! If you are looking to kick back and relaxxxxxxx, this is your spot!

Jessica is a great host and her place is awesome, especially if you have an active dog. He had more fun than me exploring the property and adjacent trails. The cave is very cool, and has a natural spring running out of it. Overall everything was as listed and I would definitely stay here again. Hot tub was a plus, especially as the rain got the weather cooler.

Karla’s place was the perfect getaway for my friend and me, as we each had our own bedrooms and bathrooms (half bath upstairs, full bath downstairs) and plenty of space as two overpackers :) The view is INCREDIBLE and we absolutely loved taking in the wildflowers and birds - we even got to see a gorgeous black bear down by the tree line! We stayed 4 nights and this was the perfect place to base out of for floating the Buffalo, hiking Hemmed in Hollow and Hawksbill Crag and exploring the Lost Valley, Jasper and Ponca in spring! Couldn’t have asked for a better location and both AC units were nice and cold at night, washer / dryer and full kitchen made us feel right at home! Will be recommending this place to everyone I know - thanks so much for a great week! Can’t wait to go back!

We absolutely loved our stay! The pictures don’t do the place justice. It is so beautifully decorated and feels so peaceful. We will be back!!

A wonderful place that was better in real-life. Felt like my cortisol was down to zero after about an hour. A few things to note: there are no realy windows/shutters outside of the bedroom, both doors are patio/screen style doors (with locks), and the bathroom requires a very short, shelted walk from the bedroom to the outside. This makes the experience feel more "open" and you're not around very many people, but, I could see how this information would be important to new visitors. Will be back again very soon.

We had an amazing stay at the cabin. Being in the middle of nature was the best part. Sitting out on the patio at night and getting to look up at the stars is not something we get to see too often back home with city lights. Everything was exactly how described and David was very responsive when needed. We were traveling with our German shepherd and we are extremely grateful he got to join us this trip. There aren’t many airbnbs that allow pets but I’m sure glad this one does! Our fur baby was one less thing we had to worry about while gone because he was right by our side the whole time. Very surprised at how many dog friendly places there are in Fayetteville. Would highly recommend David’s place. Hope to come back and stay in one of his other locations very soon! Thank you David for everything! Can’t wait to visit again!

Absolute FAV getaway spot! We’ve stayed at BaseCamp 9 times over the past 4 years, and it’s always perfect. Clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up — it truly feels like our home away from home. Jon and fam are fantastic hosts, and we’re so grateful for the memories we’ve made here. Can’t wait for our next visit!
