Cute comfortable guest house in small Mississippi town. Como is 40 miles south of Memphis and 40 miles from Oxford , MS. Take in a Ole Miss game or check out Beale St. We are within walking distance of Main Street in Como where you can find great restaurants and antiques. Whispering Oak was lovingly built in 1908 by the Mothershed family. It is adorned by a massive Oak tree that holds a swing. We have divided the house into two private apartments. Secret Hideaway is on the right. There are 3 spacious rooms. Living/dining with adjoining kitchenette, large bedroom with closet with en-suite luxurious bathroom with walk in shower. There a lovely front porch with swing that provides amazing sunset views and a beautiful backyard with large covered portico.
