Family-friendly vacation rentals in Arette

Perfect 2 weeks! This was our first stay in the Haute Pyrenees and Val d 'Azun and we fell in love with it! Gwénaêlle's cottage has made a big contribution! Its location is perfect for a refreshing holiday. The calm, the view and the fact of being at the end of the road allows you to make the most of the place. Nothing is lacking in the cottage, all the equipment we would have needed was there! Perfect! Gwénaêlle is very attentive and we will not hesitate to come back and enjoy her hiking tips this time;)

Emmanuelle’s place warrants all the 5* reviews, including my own. It is an incredibly comfortable and beautiful house - they have really thought through everything a guest needs. For example, a storm caused some electricity microcuts and not only had they shown me the breaker box, but everything is clearly labeled so it was a 2 minute fix. They really think ahead. The house is also in a spectacular setting and it is an amazing house to relax with family. An added plus is the AC - you don’t need it most of the time, but when you do, you do, and it’s refreshingly powerful. Emmanuelle and her parents are so welcoming, they brought us a gorgeous box of their own veggies from their garden as well as some local treats, and they were responsive to any questions or concerns. I really can’t say enough positive about this house, the area and the hosts. 12/10.

Absolutely remarkable, the change of scenery is total, we were immersed on a plateau , facing the snowy Pyrenees, splendid.

We had a great time at Celine Antoine's house, perched in the small village of Omex. The view of the mountains is beautiful, especially since we have great weather. The place is surrounded by greenery and most importantly, it's quiet and peaceful! Nights in silence, even windows open!!! The house is very nice with its large living room and large terrace, clean, functional and cozy. We slept very well on quality bedding. It has everything you need for a great stay. Even though they were away, the hosts were identified to our well-being and available for information. In short, come without hesitation!!! The place is beautiful, it's paradise for nature lovers and hikes!!!!

Accommodation adjoining 2 other accommodations but with Olympian calm! Super comfortable bedding! Royal breakfast! Luxury accommodation. Cecilia was able to give very good advice on the choice of restaurant I would recommend it

We had a wonderful stay at Jacqueline's. The place was just perfect for recharging your batteries. We were able to fully enjoy the surrounding woods and beautiful landscape. The place was very clean, decorated with lots of charm, and most importantly, the atmosphere was incredibly peaceful. This is a perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature. A big thank you to Jacqueline for hosting us and for her availability!

Very kind and helpful at all times. The house is wonderful and very spacious, it has many amenities. The place is very quiet and charming.

Henriette is a treasure! She "saved" us on the way and picked us up by car just before dark. She is a very warm person, so we felt right at home. In addition, Henriette showed us the entrance to the Camino de Santiago, so that we could take the long stage without detours the next morning. The apartment is in a fantastic location, very quiet and has everything you need ready. It is simply furnished but clean. An outdoor bench invites you to linger. Definitely a recommendation to all pilgrims who want to make their way to recharge again on a quiet night in cozy beds.

We spent the weekend with friends at Pierre's place. No complaints, spotless! The house was clean. We found all the amenities needed for the stay. Small + for the wood burning stove and terrace! We will gladly go back if we have a chance.

From the first moment Cesar was super attentive, telling us everything many days in advance. Once there, he also responded immediately to any questions or needs we had. He was also super flexible in terms of check-out time, which we really appreciated because we were able to take advantage of the whole day. As for the house, a perfect place to go with the family, super cozy, clean and quiet. We went with two dogs and the truth is that it is great since it has a perfect patio for them to be outdoors when they need it. The area is super quiet, accessible and with beautiful views. I recommend it 100% and if I go back to the area I will definitely stay here again!

The cottage is well located , in a very quiet place and with a magnificent view. It is large and particularly well equipped, with books and games for children. Special mention to the donkey Pepito who made our little Leo happy. We will be back!

To begin with, 5 stars for Nicolas. Then, 5 stars for the house and facilities. Finally, 5 stars for the environment. The math is good. The 15 days for the 15 members of our family went wonderfully. Obvious recommendation!

Fantastic house!!!! Very attentive Albert and Helene, solving anything at the moment. Upon our arrival they welcomed us with homemade jam, a very good pate and eggs from their beloved chickens that sipped our puppy... I recommend this history-filled home with a fabulous setting, surrounded by charming villages. The house and setting are much better than the pictures. We will definitely repeat. Best regards.

The apartment is small but you have everything you need to spend a few days. Very close to the slopes of Candanchu and Astún. Highly recommended!

Short one-night stay with my son, but great! The location is great in the countryside and quiet, we had a very good night, and Sandrine was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again for my future weekends in Pau.

It’s a beautiful property in an incredible location - you feel like you’re a million miles from civilization but in fact, you’re just 12-15 minutes into town. The beds and linens were very comfortable, and the kitchens had everything needed for a long term stay. The town’s city square also had everything we needed and was just a few minutes drive away. The pizza place was delicious and the boulangerie had one of the best baguettes I have ever tried. Amazing!!
