The beams are very low so do watch out! The sofa beds a bit hard and lumpy, the king size bed very comfortable. Nice big towels. Attractive building. Easy parking. We didnt go in the pub but it seemed to have a good atmosphere when I went in to get the key. We would have gone in for a drink if we didnt have a child who needed to go to bed as soon as we arrived! Even though next to the pub it wasnt noisey at all. There's not really a kitchen which I hadn't appreciated but it did have a fridge, microwave, and toaster. No sink downstairs, only in the bathroom. Overall happy with our stay, would book again if needed. Thanks Ashley

This is by far the best Airbnb my family has ever stayed in, and we have stayed in several across the UK and other countries. It exceeded all expectations. We felt at home from the moment we walked in the door. We had everything we needed for a pleasant and comfortable stay. Andrew and Maeve were always quick to respond and so friendly. We did not meet them, even though they were right next door, but we knew they were there if we needed anything. There were clear instructions for the heating, tv, shower etc. and useful information on local shops, walks, pubs and restaurants, which was very helpful. The house is in a very quiet lane in Tadcaster, just a few minutes walk to the town, Sainsbury and the bus station. Buses to York run every 20 minutes and cost £3 for the 30 minute journey. We found this very convenient. This was also the perfect location for the 10 minute drive to the wedding venue we were attending. I totally recommend this Airbnb if staying in this area. We loved it.
