We felt right at home. Everything was very clean and tidy. Fully equipped, we didn't need anything. The area is very quiet and well connected. The place is very cozy. For two or even three people it's perfect. There are two free parking lots with several spaces next to the house. The beach is a couple minutes walk away. Stéphane was very kind from the moment we arrived. Even though we didn't speak the same language, we understood each other well. He is very friendly and attentive. He left us a welcome gift, which is highly valued. If we return to the area in the future, we know where we'll be staying.

Hélène managed our stay with a lot of sympathy, kindness and in a very professional manner. The apartment is very convenient and sufficiently equipped. just a downside for the beds whose mattresses are much too firm. A big thank you to Hélène for her kindness.

I wanted to get to know Cap-Ferret in more detail. The location of the accommodation was ideal: located right on the port of Piraillan, just a few steps from the cabanes of the oyster fishermen. Restaurant and shops in Le Canon were within walking distance. Overall a great choice! The apartment is quiet, clean and practical. Everything as promised! And the view over the harbor and the Bassin d'Arcachon is great! Corine was helpful, friendly and always available. She always responds within minutes! I was able to check in early and check out as needed for my plans. Glad to come back!

I recommend: a nice and well-located accommodation in Arcachon where you can do anything on foot. Excellent stay!

We had a great time, beautiful quiet cottage, total change of scenery. Everything is great and the bathroom is excellent. Very well located in the basin to visit on one side or the other.

We stayed at Valerie's for 2 months (mid-Jan to mid-March). It was perfect for our needs and very comfortable. Our favorite feature was the nature preserve right behind the condo. Twice a day, every day, our dogs enjoyed a 2 mile loop, off leash, on a dirt road and path, along the beach and through the berry brambles. Doggie heaven. Within a quarter mile walk are a patisserie, several restaurants and the train station. The market (which is daily, even in winter), town center, and everything you could need are within a mile. Arcachon and several supermarkets are a short drive away. Valerie was so helpful! She even upgraded the wifi when it was too slow for Zoom to work well! A life saver! The kitchen has everything you need (both a Nescafe and a drip coffee maker), the shower is roomy, and the washer and dryer work very well. We highly recommend la cabane du littoral!

We had a lovely stay with friends at Olivier's house. The house as well as its setting are very pleasant and as described. The surf-themed decor is very nice. The exchanges with Olivier went very well. We recommend!

Very nice accommodation in a quiet environment. Very well arranged (there is everything you need) and large enough. Very well located, close to the beach, port and small shops. We did everything by bike (Dune du Pilat, Arcachon...) thanks to the many bike paths. Good communication. We recommend!

This is a fantastic house which is beautifully designed, comfortable and well equipped. It’s spacious with lots of places to sit and hang out. The pool is large and clean. The house is in a traditional oyster port in front of a canal. We found it fascinating to observe the farmers and learned a lot when buying fresh oysters from them. It’s a pleasant 50 minute walk to Arcachon which we did several times. There is also a train that takes 4 minutes. We loved our stay and hope to come back again. Would strongly recommend staying here.

The cottage is very nice and absolutely recommended. It is lovingly furnished and the furnishings are well thought out. The floor plan is very suitable for a relaxed and restful stay. Even a basic set of spices and vinegar as well as oil are available in the kitchen. Also dish soap, etc. In addition, detergent was also available for the washing machine. We felt very comfortable and were happy about the well-functioning air conditioning on some days, when it was very hot. The whole house is a highlight, but especially the terrace and the swimming pool to the south side as well as the outdoor kitchen are a great pleasure. In addition, there is ample space for several cars on the property without any problems. The landlord Patrice is a very friendly and accommodating host. He communicated excellently, was always available and always responded within a very short time when we had a question.

We loved this quiet and very private property. It was the perfect location - 5 minute walk to Horizon beach, 10 minutes to a well-stocked Auchon grocery store, 10-15 minutes to the daily marché and loads of restaurants and shops. Marie was a responsive, friendly and responsible host. Several light bulbs died while we were there- in a bathroom and two bedrooms- which was a bit odd but not overly problematic, and they were out to replace them within minutes. One thing that didn’t quite fit the description was that it’s not what I consider central air conditioning. There are two large wall units in the living and kitchen area, and 1 in the upstairs bedroom that cool down those spaces incredibly well. The 4 downstairs bedrooms do not have units and it got warm back there on the hottest nights. We slept with doors open to get what we could out of the AC which wasn’t ideal. It’s not a deal breaker for us, but could be improved with fans. Still, overall, an excellent stay!

Wonderful spot to stay in Arcachon! We were close to the beach but also close to the city centre where there were lots of restaurants and activities to do. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area!

The place looks better in reality than we expected from the photos. The house is equipped with everything you need. But the best thing was our hostess, who is very warm and friendly. We arrived an hour earlier than announced and the house cleaning was still in progress. Nevertheless, we were immediately admitted and offered a beer as a welcome. Should we be near Biscarrosse again, we will book this place again.

Very nice house, especially if the weather allows you to stay outside. The outdoor area is much nicer than expected. The sofas are very comfortable and can accommodate quite a few people. Location is great, and both beaches are within walking distance. So is the market. We had a great stay. I just thought that beds were a wee small, and soft. I also got a little annoyed when I found out that sheets and towels were not included.

The villa is in a good location. Quiet. It is spacious, very well decorated and equipped. Parking is a plus. The bathrooms are large. The city center and beach are very close. The owners are very nice and responsive.
