Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Amsterdam-West

We had a wonderful girls' weekend at the place! The house was exactly as described – very clean, lovingly decorated and well equipped. We particularly liked the cozy living area, where we could sit together for a long time in the evening. The location was ideal – quiet but still easily accessible. The contact with the host was super friendly and straightforward. We felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime. Thank you for the wonderful time!

We loved our stay at Mabel’s cottage while we visited the Netherlands to celebrate my bachelorette! The house has a good mix of seclusion and convenience: there aren’t many neighbors nearby, which offers a good amount of privacy. It is also conveniently located right across the street from the train station - which is two stops (~15 minutes) to Amsterdam Central Station. If you wish to visit a different city other than Amsterdam on your stay, Haarlem was ~20 minutes and is another very cute and quaint city. The home was decorated beautifully and was maintained very well. Nonetheless, Mabel made us all feel right at home and was quick to respond whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend staying here - thank you again Mabel for hosting us!!

The place is really very cozy and inviting. Due to the existing Rituals products, the house also smelled very good. I can only report good things about the immediate surroundings. It is nice, quiet and idyllic, yet you can get to Zandvoort or Amsterdam within a good 20 minutes by car. Ruud gave us really helpful tips on this. In addition, we were personally accompanied by him from the parking lot to the accommodation, which makes you feel immediately positive. We really enjoyed our time here. :)

Lovely stay in a beautiful location with easy access to Amsterdam using public transport. Very helpful hosts with frequent communication answering any questions and even booking dinner on our behalf. Highly recommended!

We loved staying in Elske’s place! It was in a great area and she gave us great recs about places to eat and things to do! We didn’t remember that there was a washing machine so that was a nice bonus to have clean clothes. She was very accommodating and quick to respond. It felt very spacious because it was well organized and uncluttered! Thanks for a great stay!

We had a great stay at Michelle’s. She is a very friendly host and answers questions quickly. The place is exactly as described and shown on the pictures. The surroundings are quiet and beautiful, and the commute to the city is easy.

We loved our family holiday celebrating Easter at Anne’s house. She made sure everything was accommodating for our twins, especially with having two high chairs, two travel cots, and plenty of toys/books for our girls to play with. The decor of the home is also so beautiful, I didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend Anne’s house to a family with small children!

Love that place. So much to see and do within a short walk. Trams and subway nearby. Perfect place and location. A real gem!

Fantastic apartment, really clean and comfortable in a great neighbourhood: peaceful but walking distance to everything you could need. Loes and Fokke are wonderful hosts, warm and helpful- we had a brilliant few days exploring the city from the perfect base.

Michel was a fabulous host who greeted us upon arrival and made sure that we had everything that we needed for our stay. There was a book of restaurant recommendations and he also mentioned his favourite places too. The apartment was in the perfect location for trams to/from the station and for walking into central Amsterdam. We had a superb stay and recommend this apartment to everyone!

We had a great time. The accommodation is in a very convenient location to visit all the major attractions of Amsterdam and the house is spacious, clean, and with everything you need. We did not meet Paulien but he was always helpful and kind in his communications

Wow! What am incredible experience staying here for my first ever trip in Amsterdam. Everything to do with the house was 10/10. Host was unbelievably receptive and helpful at all times. #1 place I’d recommend in Amsterdam.

This apartment was amazing for our quick trip to Amsterdam. The location is perfect—right on one of the main canals and walkable to everything. Helena was such a gracious host and gave us some great recs for vintage shopping, drinks, and eats. The space was well appointed and she was so flexible with our arrival and departure times. I would 100% recommend this place and would stay here again on a future visit.

The Condominium is in a nice quiet part of Amsterdam, but still easy to get to city centre. Was very clean and comfortable.

Jessica and her partner were very proactive and we were greeted the minute we parked the car. They live right next door. The apartment was immaculate and the views are stunning. Also good recommendations for nearby restaurants. Thanks for the hospitality.

We had a particular reason to visit Amsterdam and selected carefully from the available options. We also needed to be well placed in relation to museums and concert hall. Anthony’s accommodation was perfect and stood out as being one of the most spacious, well designed, generously supplied, and carefully finished. Everything was notably clean and ‘hi-spec’ and the modern facilities covered every need. The bed was large and comfortable, and we particularly liked the wallpaper pattern of the dancing red-capped cranes that surrounded it. As ‘newbies’ to the delights of the latest tech, we very much enjoyed that the washing machine sang Schubert’s ‘Die Forelle’ to us to let us know it had reached the end of the cycle! We appreciated the provision of coffee, tea, and basic supplies. We were well informed, we felt secure, and very hospitably provided for. Anthony was friendly and responsive to every message prior to and during our stay. Being there was a pleasure. Highly recommended.

Perfectly located apartment from which you can enjoy a fantastic sunset in the evening. The beach bars are very close. The center is about a 15-minute walk. A plus is the parking space belonging to the apartment and located on the property. We can definitely recommend the stylishly furnished beach house.

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

Outstanding stay at Huis Roomolen! Henri & Mel were terrific, kind, and very responsive hosts ~ they assisted us with bike rentals nearby, loads of dining options, and a fully stocked studio for our brief time in Amsterdam. The studio itself is in a beautiful, quaint, and very safe area of the city, just blocks from many canals. The studio was impeccably clean, the terrace is lovely, as are the fish and greenery; and the bonus breakfast goodies made for such a relaxing morning before touring around. We highly recommend and would absolutely return! Thank you again, Mel & Henri, for a fabulous stay!

We spent a wonderful week at Annemieke’s place and would highly recommend staying there. We have stayed in other areas of Amsterdam and this was by far our favourite with easy access to trams, fabulous restaurants, bars and gorgeous shops all literally around the corner. Very easy to get the tram to the RAI Amsterdam for a trade show, almost door to door. The apartment was perfect for our requirements with a good shower and a very comfortable bed & a window that opened for fresh air at night. Annemieke was incredibly helpful with looking after all our needs, especially recommending an acupuncturist nearby, restaurants in other areas and how to get a museum ticket at last minute. Would we return - absolutely!! Thank you Annemieke & Koert for looking after us so beautifully.
