Vacation rentals with a patio in Ambalangoda

Where to start.. In my 10+ years on Airbnb, I have never come across a property like this. The hosts and their kids are just exquisite. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home and cater to your every need. The apartment is brand-new, super clean, and has all the amenities needed at the same time the lush jungle and green surroundings give a very tropical vibe. Working from home cannot be better, more peaceful, and private and with high-speed internet. The family loves to cook a meal for you, so you can keep on working or simply enjoy a relaxing stay. There is also the possibility to rent their scooter or tuk-tuk, make use of the laundry services and enjoy a yoga session on the rooftop deck. It's situated in the middle of the jungle, with monkeys and all kinds of lovely creatures. We love to surf, and with the beach just 5 mins scooter ride away, we felt like we had everything we could dream of. We will be back for sure!:) Thank you Nalaka and family for the wonderful stay!

This place is great! Sonali is so responsive and helpful. The apartment is just as described, clean and well equipped. You do have to pay extra for AC which is needed. The washing machine is wonderful to have and a really nice touch. We would stay again!

We had an excellent stay at this apartment and appreciated all the thoughtful details. Communication with Dakshan was smooth and supportive from start to finish - he was very helpful, always quick to respond, and offered great assistance whenever we had questions or needed guidance. The apartment itself was in top-notch condition, featuring powerful air conditioning, fast internet, and a fully equipped kitchen that made cooking easy. The spacious layout and separate showers in each room gave everyone plenty of privacy and comfort. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the modern yet cosy feel instantly made us feel at home. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’d gladly stay here again.

Had a lovely and relaxing weekend getaway at Gianluca’s beautiful apartment. The place is just a stone’s throw from amazing seafront restaurants and shops, perfectly located in the heart of Ahangama. It captures the town’s calm and quiet charm, while still being lively and entertaining. We woke up each morning to the gentle sound of ocean waves—such a dream. Gianluca was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and full of great local tips that made our stay even better. Thank you for the wonderful experience! Superb place for basing yourself whilst visiting Unawatuna, situated in a great location just on the outskirts of Unawatuna. I found Lotus Bloom excellent for facilities which are required for a short stay or long stay. The neighbourhood is situated in a peaceful residential superb. I found all communications with Numan first class and was always very quick to respond to any queries. I would also like to mention Shalika the caretaker who was always very responsive to my needs in a positive manner. I would defiently recommend Lotus Bloom if your thinking of visiting Unawatuna you will not be disappointed.

Our stay was truly unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel like part of their family. They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive. Several evenings, they prepared mouthwatering traditional dinners for us, each meal bursting with authentic flavors – it was a real treat for our taste buds! What really stood out was how they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, always ready to assist us with anything we needed, and doing so with a smile. Their hospitality added a special touch to our experience. Even though this is my fourth time in Sri Lanka, this stay has been one of the highlights of my trips. I’ll definitely be returning, as they truly made our vacation even more memorable. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an authentic and heartwarming experience!

Josephine has an amazing home away from home. So much thought has gone into curating the whole house ensuring you step into something very special. Kitchen is awesome, bedrooms and bedding are excellent and instant hot water, with great shower pressure. Really cool find. Highly recommended.

Mit Abstand die absolut beste Unterkunft die wir jemals hatten. Schon von der Kontaktaufnahme bis hin zum Check out einfach alles super. Charith und Tharaka sind die Perlen des Hauses. Wir wurden während unseres Aufenthalts liebevoll umsorgt. Charith überraschte uns jeden Morgen mit einem leckeren Frühstück und ging sogar auf die Sonderwünsche der Kinder ein. Die Villa wurde täglich gereinigt, frische Blumen standen auf dem Tisch... einfach liebevolle Detailarbeit. Es ist ein super gemütliches offenes Haus, mit großen Räumen ohne unnötigen Kram, aber viel Liebe zum Detail. Die tolle Aussicht vom Pool über die Reisfelder und gleichzeitige Privatsphäre spricht für sich. Wer sich hier nicht wohlfühlt, dem kann tatsächlich nicht mehr weiter geholfen werden. Zusammengefasst: Urlaub vom feinsten ab der ersten Minute.

I really enjoyed my stay at Villa Lankari. The house is lovely surrounded by nature. I could see stars at night and hear sounds of birds in the morning and during daytime. I needed this kind of runaway from big city to the nature. The only thing I was bothered by are mosquitos. The owner was in touch and communication was easy and friendly. I would recommend the villa for those who needs escape to the nature.

Magnificent spacious and beautifully designed heritage home. Responsive and delightful staff. Immaculately clean and spacious. Large grounds. Quiet with sensational private pool. Sarath organized a chef and meals for us and was able up take us out on his tuk tuk. Very nice beach is a 4 minute walk away , safe swimming with a nice surf break a further few minutes walk. Look forward to coming again.

Very cute place to stay in the middle of nature! We even saw some monkeys in the garden one morning. Extremely clean place and very kind host. Highly recommended!

Wir durften 5 wundervolle Wochen bei Maarit und Madhu verbringen und haben jeden Tag dort genossen. Unsere 3 Kids haben sich dort sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und mit dem Mückennetz hat sich unsere Tochter wie in einem Prinzessinbett gefühlt. Die Küche hatte alles was man zum kochen benötigt und der Kühlschrank war schön groß für uns alle. Wir haben besonders viel Zeit auf der tollen Veranda verbracht und den Blick auf das viele Grün genossen. Madhu und Maarit sind super freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Sie waren für uns immer ansprechbar und hatten tolle Tipps für Unternehmungen und Restaurants. Wir hätten uns alle keine bessere Unterkunft für den Start unserer Reise wünschen können und wären auch sehr gerne noch länger dort geblieben. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

I had the most wonderful stay in Villa Bell Rose! The host Deepa made my stay beyond wonderful. She is so loving, welcoming and caring that it feels like being home in there. The villa is really new and has everything you need for even longer stays. The room is really spacious, kitchen is very well equipped and the bathroom is big and even has a second shower outdoors. The wifi was fast and working very well if you want to get some work done. The area is nice and quiet. I enjoyed the tranquility of the area. The beach and restaurants are a short walk away and if you rent a scooty, everything that you need is within 5-10 minutes. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend this place for anyone! I am looking forward to go back to Hikkaduwa and meet with the lovely host Deepa. Thank you for your love, hospitality and kindness.

Amazing apartment! So close to galle so easy to go for dinner. Nice restaurant/ beach club within walking distance. Aircon was a lovely. plus restaurant was a nice addition for easy lunches/ dinner!

This is our 2nd stay at Sha Villas by Ushaan. Overall, Five-star host and a brilliant apartment! Check in and check out is super easy, and Ushaan is a very communicative and thoughtful host. It is a beautiful , spacious place with great amenities. Immaculately clean and a very convenient location. We would book again for our next visit.

Had a great stay at this beautifully furnished, duplex condominium. The apartment has ample space, is extremely comfortable and ideally suited for a large family or group. It is also equipped with all the amenities you would expect from any 5* hotel. The host, Minoli was also extremely helpful and very pleasant to deal with. All in all, one of the best condominium properties in the area!

We had a great stay at Kumari's apartment. The apartment is spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The couch is comfy and the kitchen is well equipped for full meals. Wi-Fi was really fast and the view cannot get any better. The condo has a full gym, a nice pool (with sunny areas and shady areas) and a restaurant for dine-in or room service. It was a pleasure communicating with Kumari - always very responsive to our questions. The one small maintenance issue we had was fixed by the condo staff very quickly. We would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone.

We had a wonderful stay in Serenity Villa! The grounds are stunning and well-maintained, and the whole place felt very peaceful. The house was clean with all necessary amenities, and the AC works well. There is also a lovely little cat who lives on the grounds and is very friendly! Sarath (the caretaker) was so welcoming and made us feel very at home. Veronika was a quick responder to messages and very flexible with timings for us. Overall, would highly recommend this place to anyone!
